    Something was quite wrong with Crosshair that morning. Echo had seen him rubbing his eyes more than once, and had noted when Crosshair’s eyes flickered to him, that his eyes seemed to be dull and unseeing, and that they were red. He didn’t seem to see Echo – well, he never verbally acknowledged his presence with a well-aimed quip like he normally did – though he had glanced in Echo’s direction multiple times. He was staring blankly at the wall opposite his bunk, leaning against the wall like he was exhausted.
