Chapter Text
Jimmy scanned the room, searching for his fellow bad boys, Joel and Grian, to no avail. He sighed, looking down awkwardly as the room around him buzzed, students dancing and alcohol stinging in the air.
“I officially hate parties.” He decided, pursing his lips. He grabbed a red solo cup to try and somewhat fit in, as he continued his house in the search for his two friends.
Honestly, he’s not quite sure why he accepted the invitation to Scott’s party. It was mostly because of Joel and Grian, who, like himself, had never been to a party before.
By this point, he’s explored the entire house, and losing hope. Did they leave without him? The thoughts in Jimmy’s head weren’t helping. He put the solo cup on a nearby surface and settled in a nearby corner, muting out the corny pop music and the lewd rap music.
3 Bad Boys
Tim: Where r u guys?
Right as Jimmy waited for a reply, a finger tilted his phone down, taking his attention successfully.
“C’mon Jimmy, I didn’t invite you here to stand around on your phone!” Scott hummed, and Jimmy put down his phone.
“I’m just looking for Joel and Grian.” Jimmy deadpanned, and Scott scoffed. “Please, we can have fun without them!” He insisted.
“ We? ” Jimmy tilted his head. “Yes Jimmy, we. ” Scott grabbed Jimmy’s wrist and dragged him towards the middle of the room, through the people that were dancing, where he began to dance with the music too, letting his wrist free. Jimmy watched awkwardly, still holding his phone to see if it vibrated, indicating a reply from either of the other boys.
“Jimmy!” Scott giggled ( no, Jimmy did not think it was cute at all) .
“Come dance with me!” He grabbed Jimmy’s hand instead, locking their fingers through each other ( why does that feel so natural?), before spinning Jimmy around surprisingly easily like a puppet, practically forcing the bad boy to dance with him.
“Bad boys don’t dance, Scott.” Jimmy joked as he finally began to dance on his own, still keeping their hands locked. They continued for what felt like a lifetime, one that Jimmy didn’t want to end, just because Scott looked so happy.
The party was bustling more than usual, more people arriving.
Scott glanced at Jimmy mischieviously before tugging him away without much resistance. Jimmy hesitated to ask where he was going, before suddenly, they were in an abandoned bedroom, bedsheets ruffled.
“Scott–” He cut himself off when suddenly, Scott unlocked their hands to throw himself onto the bed, laying there for a second.
“There, we’re out of there. Happy?” He asked, sitting back up. “I mean, it’s not as loud in here?” Jimmy awkwardly replied, messing the extra presence in his hands. He sat on on the edge of the bed awkwardly.
“Now we can just chill here until the police get here.” Scott joked, a sigh following.
“Is this your room?” Jimmy asked, looking around. “Sure is! I kept it locked, just in case. Me and my brothers.” Scott explained.
“Wanna lay down with me? You don’t have to just sit there.” Scott insisted, moving over so there was more room, even if there more than enough already. Jimmy laid there with Scott, and before he knew it, a head was resting on his shoulder.
His phone buzzed.
Jimmy looked over at Scott, who was now resting on his shoulder, mindlessly scrolling on his phone. Ignoring the amount of red that rushed towards his face, he checked his phone.
3 Bad Boys
Grian: SORRY TIMMY
Grian: JOEL ALMOST SET THE CAR ON FIRE
Joel: HES THE ONE WHO DIDNT PUT THE GASOLINE IN THE FREAKING CAR INSTEAD OF THE SIDE
Grian: YOURE THE ONE WHO ALMOST SET THE FREAKING CAR ON FIRE!
Jimmy chuckled at his friends responses, before paying his attention back to Scott, who was glancing at him.
“Your laugh is nice.” Scott pointed out. “Erm– Thanks?” Jimmy replied, head tilted.
“You really are dense, aren’t you, Jimmy?” He asked, before grabbing Jimmy’s leather jacket, pulling the two of them closer.
“Scott, dude!” He stammered, and Scott smirked, leaning towards him.
“Gods, you would think that you’d get the hint. I held your hand, danced with you, brought you to my room… ” He ran his sentence off, still hanging on tightly to his jacket. Both teens were blushing now, but Jimmy was much worse compared to Scott.
“Jimmy?” He suddenly asked, letting go of his jacket to caress his cheek. All he could manage was a nod.
“Would you mind if I kissed you? Y’know, consent and stuff.” Scott shrugged, chuckling while looking to the side.
“Yeah, sure. I– If you want.” Jimmy awkwardly replied. Who knew a bad boy could be so awkward when met with a very cute boy.
Scott leaned towards him, and Jimmy followed.
And right as their lips met–
“ HOLY SHIT THE POLICE ARE HERE! ” Voices from outside boomed, causing both Scott and Jimmy to yelp, pulling away from each other.
“I think we should go?” Jimmy said, but Scott was already pulling on his denim jacket.
“I’m bolting it! See you at school, Jimmy!” Scott yelled, and when Jimmy looked over, the window was open, and Scott jumped out of it.
Welp.
