Work Text:

 "To: Rhea Royce

My darling, it's been about three years since you left me, you still cursed the day I had the idea of going to Pentos, maybe if we hadn't gone, you'd still be by my side and our children.

I write this letter so that, even if you are no longer here, you know that I will never forget to tell you how our beloved children are doing.

And I have not only good news, but wonderful news, our little Lya has finally hatched her dragon egg, a creature small and gray, but beautiful in a way only Targaryens find fascinating. Since the egg will hatch, it's basically impossible to see our little sheep without her beloved dragon, who Lya saw fit to name Balerion, she says she saw him grow as big as Aegon the Conqueror's dragon, so she named him. worthy of her size, I sometimes believe she is a dreamer like my ancestor, Daenys Targaryen.

And so I close my letter to you, my dear Rhea, but don't worry, when our children have done something remarkable or deserving of a scolding, I'll write to you again.

From the one who loves you.

  - Daemon Targaryen, your Rogue Prince."

Notes:

I don't like Daemon Targaryen from the book and the series. However, I liked Rhea Royce and wanted to make a fanfic where she had a happy marriage.
So here she had six children, five boys and one girl. Here she is still dead, but died of a disease she caught in Pentos on a journey, she died in her sleep and in little pain.
