Work Text:
Godric was observing the school.
He had fought to build it, he had suffered with his students.
"Godric." He turned.
Salazar was approaching him.
Godric snorted. "I can't believe you actually decided on a dramatic escape, old friend. Rowena couldn't stop laughing."
Salazar looked offended. "My dear Godric, may I let you know that I fought for my position."
Godric looked at him amused. "We both know you have no problem with those born of men without magic, Salazar. Isn't your protégé, Merlin, born of a woman without magic?"
"His father has magic." Salazar muttered surly and Godric laughed. "Come on, Salazar. I have a bet with Rowena that I want to win."
Together, the two men walked away to return to Hogwarts.
Their legacy would last forever.
