-A girl with blood on her hands-

Summary:

“No… no. Everyone will know.” Her breathing grew shaky as she placed her bloody hands on the floor. “I’m a monster.“

-A new student enters class 1A right before the sports festival. A beautiful girl with great power, but what is she hiding? And what will happen when her explosive classmate discovers the secrets in her life? This is her story, parallel to the canon show of her making friends, falling in love, and training to be a hero, all while confronting the blood on her hands.

Notes:

-All credit to the Kohei Horikoshi for the original story.-

-Spoiler warning-

-I try to stay as close to the manga/anime as possible while also having my own stories with in them. There will be multiple “additional” episodes that will simply add to the current story. So I’m trying to essentially make it feel real to the show.

Chapter 1: The Start

Notes:

One of my first stories and includes an OC I’ve had for many years now. I’m always open to feedback. So if you have any suggestions let me know, and if you don’t then leave a Kudos. Or leave nothing, that’s always an option too.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Season 1 Episode 13

Principal Nezu looked down at the paper in his hands. "I see, but are you sure after the recent villainous events that you would want to join the hero course? I know your score, amongst the others, is superb, but it's still something to consider regarding safety."

A girl in the UA uniform nodded as the woman beside her spoke. "Yes, we believe this is the best opportunity for her, even with that underlying concern."

Principal Nezu smiled. "Very well. Starting next week, you will be an official student of class 1A," He handed the paperwork to the adult beside her and finished with a bow. "Mr. Aizawa will be your homeroom teacher and hopefully show you around and introduce you to your new classmates." He added. The girl smiled.

     "I'm looking forward to it."

Season 2 Episode 2 “New Competition” (An additional episode before the actual season 2 episode 2 “Roaring sports festival”)

"We must keep security as our top priority for the sports festival. If these villains attack our students, it could be the end of our school," Principal Nezu said at the head of the table with the teachers sitting along it.

"Pro heroes will routinely move around the perimeter with the police force. Mount Lady and Kamui Woods have already agreed to be on guard with the police," Snipe said, looking at the papers in front of him.

"Yes, but on another note, two new students have been added to the hero course and have not encountered these villains," Principal Nezu turned to the Hero course teachers. "So it's important we talk to them and their families about it," Aizawa and Vlad nodded.

“It’s also important we take precautions with your new student, Aizawa. Nezu said turning to the bandaged teacher.

Aizawa looked down at the girl's profile. “Is there something dangerous, we should be concerned about?”

The Principal frowned before looking down. “Not necessarily, but I believe our other new hero course student and their family will appreciate it.”

Aizawa looked at him for a moment before glancing back down at the papers. “Well ok then.”

“That other new hero course student is in my class, correct?” Vlad asked before the Principal nodded.

“Yes, they were both very skilled with powerful abilities.” Nezu added.

"Do we know yet what went wrong with the entrance exams?" Aizawa asked through his bandages while Vlad looked through the student profiles.

“We're still investigating it at the moment, but we don't want to cause a scene by overreacting," Nezu stood in his chair. "Let's just focus on the festival for now."

—————

Bakugou walked through the hall of the UA building with Kirishima beside him. "Oh, I'm so stoked! The sports festival is gonna be the best!" The redhead cheered, pumping his fist.

Kaminari jumped up beside him. "I know, right! But we still need to figure out a way to get noticed."

Bakugou scoffed as they approached the gym door. "Idiots, just stay out of my way, and if you want to be flashy, then get off your ass and train." He growled.

"Geez, dude! Come on; we're preparing to train right now!" Kaminari barked, pointing at the gym door.

—————

In the gym, many blows were being done to the punching bag. Repeatedly striking at it with no mercy. "You guys are idiots if you think you can hold up against me in training," Bakugou growled, opening the door.

The three shifted to the noises in the room and noticed the person landing punches on the sack of sand.

With a final kick, the girl quickly snapped the chain to the bag and crashed it against the wall.

"Whoah," Kirishima gasped as the girl stretched out her arms. The three boys were shocked at the scene, and Kaminari almost seemed brain-dead. She turned to them as they stared at her before wiping her forehead.

“Sorry about the broken equipment. The chain was worn down quite a bit but the bag should still be fine.” She said propping her hands on her lower back as she panted.

Bakugou growled tossing his stuff to the side. "Hey, you." He scoffed, making her stop her stretching and raise a brow at him. “What the hell are you doing here?” He huffed approaching her as she straightened herself out and pulled her purple hair out of her face. “Uhh?” She looked at him and the other two for a moment seeming confused. “Probably the same thing you are.” She snickered before the boy glared at her. "Just do the heroes a favor and get out of their training area," He growled, pointing to the door. “You’re gonna waste our time.”

The girl scoffed, making Kirishima and Kaminari freeze. She laughed a little. "Wow.” She looked the blonde up and down, crossing her arms. Looks like the hero course has turned to shit if they let someone like you in," She said as a vein pulsed on Bakugou’s face. Kirishima and Kaminari urgently shook their heads at her warning her not to continue as their angry friend began to growl.

"What the hell did you say?!" He yelled, stomping forward. "I'll annihilate you right now!" His face contorted with anger as his palms released small explosions. The girl however remained unfazed and simply rolled her eyes before chuckling and picking up her sweat rag.

"Yeah, I'll take that into consideration-“ She tossed the rag over her shoulder inadvertently smacking him across the face with it. “The next time you prove me right," She said, walking past him. Kaminari and Kirishima glanced at each other in fear as Bakugou's eyes went red. The girl walked her way to the door, swaying her hips with a smirk. "See you guys around," She said, barely glancing back to look at them.

Kirishima and Kaminari were jaw-dropped as Bakugou's hand continued to spark. "Damnnnn," Kaminari gawked, watching as she left. Kirishima turned to Bakugou, who was fuming with anger. "That snarky brat! I'll kill her!"

"Whoah, Whoah. Try and relax, dude. It's not like we'll be seeing her anytime soon," Kirishima said, gesturing to him to chill and sit down.

     "Oh, shut up, weird hair!"

—————

In class, the students were buzzing with chat about the sports festival. "I'm so excited we're all gonna be on international TV, but that also makes me kinda nervous," Hagakure said as Ojirou nodded.

"Yeah, things will be a little tense, especially with the pro heroes watching us," He added. Deku looked down at his paper, tapping his pen to his chin.

"Mr. Aizawa should have been here by now. Do you think his injuries caught up to him?" Mineta said from behind him.

"He mentioned something yesterday about getting here later than usual. I wonder why?" Deku said, looking at the door.

"I hope it's not about those bad guys. They could kill us in broad daylight," Mineta said as he quivered.

"Well, if it makes you feel better, I know the security for the sports festival will be tougher than usual. It said so on the news." Sero said, turning back to them.

"Aizawa already mentioned that to us yesterday," Jirou said, staring blankly at him.

     "Oh yeah. Ha, my bad."

—————

Rikara looked down at the floor as she walked through the hallway. She was in her new uniform, but she had her skirt slightly longer than the others, along with a black pair of gloves she had been pulling at. She clenched the bag in her hands as she straightened her back and raised her head forward. The stone on her necklace began to shift between White and blue.

‘One wrong move. And it's all over.’

—————

The door to the class opened with a creak as Mr. Aizawa slowly entered, still covered in casts and bandages. "Good morning, class," He muttered, standing at his lectern.

"Mr. Aizawa!" Iida yelled, raising his hand. "Would you be willing to explain why you arrived late this morning? Yesterday you mentioned it as if it was arranged!” Mr. Aizawa sighed, lowering his head.

"There was some news I received yesterday after I got back, and it turns out something…” Aizawa looked down at the paperwork in front of him. “interesting happened during the entrance exams," He continued glancing his eyes to the door. "Because of this, multiple students weren't included in the final draft for the hero, business, and support course," The class looked at each other as Mr. Aizawa raised his head. "Therefore, there will be a new student joining our class,"

The class froze, comprehending what he had just said before immediately bursting into questions.

"Wait! Really! A new student! That's awesome!" Mina cheered.

"Is it a girl? Please say it's a girl!" Mineta yelled, slamming his hands on his desk.

"What's their quirk, and why didn't they arrive with the rest of us?" Jirou asked, turning to Kaminari.

Mr. Aizawa's eyes went red as his hair flew upward, immediately silencing the class. He sighed, relaxing himself with his hair falling. "She will be arriving shortly, so you all must keep your composure," The class smiled and looked at each other. "But be aware, because she is being placed in this class, that means one of you," He paused, glaring forward. "Was never meant to be here,"

"Well, that's unsettling," Kirishima said, turning to Sero.

A knock was heard, making the class turn their attention to the door.

—————

The teens watched attentively as the girl walked into class, her bag held at her side. She faced the class, her complexion solemn and intimidating, almost like an assassin. She had a beauty mark under her eyes which were a bright blue, complementing her stone necklace and hairpiece that held some of her hair up.

Aizawa raised his hand to her. "Class, meet Rikara Kayama."

—————

"Oh wow! Another girlfriend!" Mina yelled, jumping up next to her.

"You're so pretty! You have to show me how you did your hair!" Hagakure said, making Rikara look at her confused.

"You're that girl we saw at the gym earlier," Kirishima said as more of the class introduced themselves.

"Yep, that's me," She said with a smile, almost appearing overwhelmed by the number of approaching people.

Mineta looked at her for a moment. "Hey, Midoriya, is it just me, or does she look familiar?"

Deku thought for a bit as the class marveled at the new class member. "What do you mean?"

Mineta turned back to her. "Well, for one, she's drop-dead gorgeous, but it's a gorgeous I've seen before, and I can't put down where I saw it,"

"Maybe she just looks like someone you know," Asui said, walking by them.

The girl lightly smiled as the class greeted her, forming a small huddle around her. “I am thrilled to see a new hero course classmate. I’m Tenya Iida the class president.” He said bowing to her.

Rikara smiled nodding back to him. “Well thank you, I’m happy to be here.” She said as Asui held a grip on Mineta who was weakly flailing his hands around.

Bakugou turned to the group with a scowl forming on his face. ‘This is gonna be hell.’

—————

The whole class stood outside in their training uniforms next to the training yard. "Ok, class, we will be training in quirk-free combat to enhance our natural skills. Excluding some with permanent mutations such as Shoji, Hagakure, and Asui, who will be trained separately. It will be a good trait to practice in advance of the sports festival," Mr. Aizawa said, standing in the middle of a square combat rink, appearing out of place, given his bandaged body.

'Given my lack of control over one for all, this should hopefully be helpful,' Deku thought, pulling out his notebook.

"First, we will have Kayama. She's new and has yet to show us her abilities, so we will pair her against someone of her own choosing for the first match," He continued making the class nod.

Rikara walked up next to him. "You know I would prefer it if you called me by my first name," She said, only for Aizawa to look at her without a care.

"Just pick someone to fight already." He groaned before slowly walking away.

Rikara began glancing at the class tentatively, not sure who to pick before noticing a familiar scowling blonde. She smirked her necklace turning green with hues of light orange, before lifting her hand up.

"Let's go with him," She said, pointing at the one and only Katsuki Bakugou. The class gasped and froze with fear.

"Is she serious?" Jirou asked, turning to Momo. Rikara raised a brow at the group, placing a hand at her hip. "It seems so, but she certainly has her work cut out for her," She said as Bakugou revealed his signature evil grin.

Midoriya gulped, watching as his childhood friend stepped forward. "This will be one hell of a show."

—————

Rikara and Bakugou stood on opposite ends of the rink, staring each other down. "Aww, man, I don't wanna watch," Ururaka said from next to Iida.

"Hmm, I don't know, guys; she was pretty strong this morning," Kirishima said from next to Kaminari, making Mina turn to them.

"Yeah, she straight-up snapped the chain to the punching bag," Kaminari added. Mina looked at them for a moment before turning back to the match.

Bakugou smirked. "Ha! You ready to back out, dollface?" She rolled her eyes, watching as he cracked his knuckles.

Aizawa sighed and held up his hand signaling the match’s start. “Let’s get this over with.”

In a matter of a second, he ran forward, aiming his fist. "Hah, how's this for a hero!" He yelled, launching towards her and unleashing a quick punch. Bakugou blinked, noticing that he only managed to hit the air. "Huh?" He shifted his head to the girl who had dodged and popped up beside him.

He quickly swung again, followed by a sweep of the leg, but she easily avoided both, making Sero, Mineta, and Kaminari snicker. He growled, preparing to knee her in the chest, but she quickly stepped aside, almost tripping him in the process.

The laughter increased as Bakugou got angrier. She just kept dodging and blocking every blow he attempted, making him look ridiculous. Bakugou growled as she shifted to the side to avoid his aim but he quickly realized and landed a blow to her jaw with his elbow making her stumble back. The class gasped as she rubbed the side of her face. “Good one.” She smirked looking up at him.

Bakugou growled trying to strike her again but to his surprise, she jumped away gripping his arm and tripping him over her knee and onto his back. Finally snapping, he stood himself up and began to snarl and grind his teeth. "Damnit! What game are you playing at! If you’re going to do something then do it!" He yelled, watching as she stood there unfazed.

She smirked, focusing her eyes and fixing her stance as the stone on her necklace glowed and turned orange. He ran forward, hands ready for a fight, but Rikara didn’t dodge this time. She quickly turned, roundhouse kicking him in the chest like the punching bag.

The scene seemed to freeze as Bakugou was launched onto his back, forcing the air out of his lungs. The class gasped as he groaned, trying to catch his breath. He growled, lifting himself to his elbows before noticing her rushing towards him. “The hell?”

—————

The class winced as Rikara threw, kicked, and twisted him into defeat quickly followed by the sounds of Bakugou's rage and pain. Mina grimaced shaking her head. "Yikes!"

Bakugou laid there on the ground, his arm locked behind him as Rikara knelt on his back. She grinned, leaning down to his level. "So," She paused, tightening her grip. "Are you ready to back out?" She continued in a condescending tone, making him growl and try to pull out of her grasp. The stone on her necklace faded into a bright purple as she smirked.

Mr. Aizawa raised his hand, holding a timer. "Kayama is the victor," He said, making her release Bakugou from her grip.

The rest of the bakusquad started to die laughing as Bakugou pushed himself up. “Dude! You just got your ass beaten by the new hot chick!” Sero yelled with Kaminari still laughing like a maniac.

Bakugou now furious turned back to the girl as his classmates found great amusement in his defeat. His growling turned feral as he clenched his fist and his eyes went red. "You toying bastard!" His hands lit up as she turned back to him. "I’LL MAKE YOU PAY!" He yelled before charging towards her full of fury.

Bakugou fired an explosion at her that she barely managed to dodge before releasing another one at her back. Her eyes lit up as she jumped away from the blast, the ground shaking beneath her. He smirked and aimed at her again but was stopped midway by Mr. Aizawa's wrappings.

"Bakugou, contain yourself. I don't want to be stuck holding you back while I'm injured," Aizawa said, hair swaying while holding the scarf with his cast-covered hand.

Rikara stood herself up, watching the two bicker as the smoke dissipated from the area. 'Wow.’ She raised her hand to a small cut on her chin. ‘This guy is completely off the deep end.' She thought rubbing her thumb across the wound.

—————

Aizawa stood in front of the group, now finished with their training. "Rikara, Ojirou, and Kirishima. You three showed the most skill in this area today," The three smiled, with Kirishima pumping his fist.

"However, Mineta, Jirou, and Aoyama, you really need to improve your physical abilities," The three stayed silent, their bodies now having a decent amount of cuts, bruises, and bandages.

"This is so unfair," Mineta groaned, recalling his not-so-successful match against Mina.

Bakugou glared at them from the background as Aizawa continued his lecture. 'That bastard.'

—————

Deku, Uraraka, and Iida walked through the lunch room, chatting away.

“Who do you think will be hosting the sports festival? I know Present Mic did it last year,” Uraraka asked in her usual bubbly way.

“I'm not sure, but it would need to be a school faculty member,” Iida said, setting down his lunch. Mina rushed past them, making Deku spin and Ochako jump.

“Oh! Sorry guys!” She yelled back to them as she kept running past everyone. At the end of the cafeteria, Rikara was simply sitting alone at a table, eating a sandwich when Mina stopped in front of her, catching her breath. “Hey Kayama, could I sit with you?” Mina asked out of breath with a toothy smile.

Rikara looked up at her for a moment. “Oh, uh, sure.” She said moving some of her stuff.

“Thanks!” Mina cheered placing her tray down.

“Mina Ashido! You should not run through the building! You risk hurting yourself and others!” Iida barked, chopping his hand at her. The two ignored him as Mina sat at the table.

“So Kayama,” Mina turned to her before being interrupted. “Rikara,” Mina looked at her for a moment. “Call me Rikara.” The purple-haired girl continued.

“Oh, ok then. So Rikara, how did you manage to kick Bakugou's ass? The sports festival is coming up, and I need to do well,” Mina beamed, leaning forward with her hands pressed together.

Rikara seemed off put by her forwardness before narrowing her eyes. “Bakugou?” She asked quirking her brow up.

“Oh, right, you probably don't know many of our names yet,” Mina giggled. “Bakugou is the blonde explosion guy you fought today,” She continued pointing over her shoulder at Kirishima and Bakugou in the lunch line.

Rikara glanced over to them for a moment. “I guess the same way I would fight anyone?” Mina waited, taking a bite of her noodles. There was a long moment of silence, Rikara not knowing exactly how to respond. “Uh, just try to be quick and aim for the weak spots,” She said, drinking a sip of her tea. “Although to fight well, it takes a lot of practice. Then you can do most of it instinctively. You know, being able to fight without thinking.” She finished stirring her straw around.

Mina nodded intently before noticing the tea she was drinking. “Is that ice in your tea?” She asked, tilting her head to the side. “Uh, maybe,” Rikara said, placing the drink down and scooting it to the side.

“Hey Ashido!” Kirishima yelled, walking over with his plate. “Room for a few more?” He asked as kaminari pulled out a chair.

“Yep,” Mina smiled as Rikara watched the three of them just decide to do what they wanted despite this being the spot she picked first.

“We see you introducing yourself to the new girl. The names Denki Kaminari,” Kaminari added.

“Oh well, it's nice to meet you, Denki,” She said, slightly uncomfortable with all the sudden interaction. He blushed as Rikara bit her lower lip. “Kaminari,” She corrected herself before immediately shifting away and aggressively eating her sandwich.

The three glanced at each other as her necklace turned into a light shade of blue.

“Ok then, my name is Kirishima,” He said lightly, bowing his head.

“What the hell is this!!” A gruff voice yelled from the lunch line. “You call this spicy! This is barely mild!!” Bakugou yelled, pointing at the chef.

“And that's our ray of sunshine, Katsuki Bakugou,” Kaminari groaned rubbing his forehead.

Rikara laughed, her necklace turning yellow, watching as the blond aggressively roared and shook his plate like a child.

“Kacchan, I think you're backing up Lunch Rush's orders,” Deku said nervously, with Iida chopping his hand toward him.

     “Shut it you damn nerd!!”

Mina, Kirishima, and Kaminari just sat there disappointed as Rikara continued to laugh. Deku walked back over to Ururaka, visibly drained by the Bakugou outburst as Iida continued his rant in the background.

“Hey, I was wondering,” Kirishima turned to Rikara, who was still snickering. “What's your quirk anyway?” Rikara’s laughter immediately began to fade as Mina and kaminari both turned to her. Deku and Uraraka passing by also took notice as Iida chugged water behind them.

“Oh yeah, what is it?” Deku chimed in, pulling out his notebook. Rikara’s face turned serious as the stone on her necklace turned white.

“Well, wouldn't you guys like to know?” She snickered, tucking her necklace into her shirt.

“Wait, you're not gonna tell us! No fair!” Kaminari said, standing out of his chair.

“The sports festival is going to happen soon and the less you know, the more of an advantage I'll have.” She said, crossing her arms with a smirk.

All the way across the cafeteria, was a boy with light purple hair watching them with his arms crossed. He sighed and lightly shook his head before walking away. “This festival is going to be interesting.”

—————

Mr. Aizawa sat in Principal Nezu's office. “Why do you need me to be so cautious? Don't you want her to learn something?” He asked, turning to Midnight.

“You're the only one who can stop her quirk if something goes wrong. We need to be careful. We don’t want her to end up hurting herself or others,” Principal Nezu said, looking at another student's bio. Someone with brown hair and yellow eyes visible in the file.

“But that happened over 6 years ago. Is it really necessary to watch her like a child?” Midnight asked, crossing her arms.

Principal Nezu looked down for a moment. “With the media watching us as it is, we can't afford to mislead the public about our students' well-being.” Mr. Aizawa nodded his head, Midnight however stayed firm. “But before we make any drastic decisions, we should keep an eye out. The sports festival will be our first impression of her so if it makes it easier we could have you as the chief umpire, Mrs Midnight.” She thought for a moment as Aizawa looked at her.

     “That's not a bad idea.”

—————

Midoriya sat in class, writing in his notebook. ‘I need to figure out how to stick out during the Sports festival. But I also don't have complete control over one for all, so I have to use it rationally to avoid excessive damage.’ He scratched at the edge of his paper, reflecting on what Mr. Aizawa told him on their first day at school.

"You're worthless if you can only throw a single punch before breaking down. Deku frowned, turning to the others who were laughing and talking with each other.

‘I have a lot of work to do.’

—————

“RIKARA KAYAMA!”Present Mic yelled. The class flinched, as Rikara looked over from her new desk right next to the door.

“Yes?” She asked, resting her head on her hand while twirling her pencil in the other.

“Since you seem to invest most of your energy in absolutely nothing, why don't you go up and write a full-length sentence on the board!” Rikara paused for a moment placing her pencil down before raising a brow at him.

“Present Mic, this is her first day in your English class. Doesn't that seem a bit unfair?” Asui asked, with her and Mina looking at them.

“That doesn’t matter! She should be paying attention regardless!”

Rikara smirked and stood up, walking up to the board and taking the chalk stick from his hand. Without any hesitation, she held the powdery white chalk and quickly began to write. "Wow, who would have thought that a teacher was so easily fooled by a student," She finished, reading it out loud as she wrote.

Present mic’s jaw dropped, looking at her as the class went silent. She turned to the class with her grin growing as she twirled the chalk in her hand like a pencil.

“You can speak English!?” Ochako yelled as Iida started to rummage through his notes.

“Oh shit, I forgot about that,” Mic muttered to himself. Rikara just stood there as her smirk grew and the class stared at her. “Ha, well, even if you are fluent in English, you should still pay attention,” Present Mic said, shaking his finger at her. Rikara tossed the chalk back onto his desk before sitting in her seat and taking out her phone.

The class awkwardly glanced at each other before Bakugou growled and snapped his pencil.

"Well uh, back to teaching then," Mic said, turning away from the class.

Rikara smiled and looked down at the screen in her hands, reading the messages.

—————

Person 1-“Hey Rikara! First day at hero school! Did you show up any of your new classmates?!"

Person 2-"She likely did, but UA is a major hero school, the best in Japan. So competition could be tough.”

Person 2-“Either way, any updates on the sports festival?"

——

Rikara snickered.

——

Rikara-"You could say that. I won most of the combat training."

     Person 1-"Nice"

Rikara-"Also, the sports festival will be happening in a couple weeks, but for you to see it, you will have to watch it live at school."

Person 1-"Ok. We're betting money on you!"

     Person 2-"Yeah, you and Hitoshi!"

——

Rikara smiled.

——

Rikara-"Thanks, guys. I’ll call you later."

—————

Midoriya, Iida, and Ururaka walked down the pathway outside the school, classes now being over for the day.

Iida turned his head to them with a soft smile. “The sports festival will be our first impression on the world. So let's hope we all do our best.”

The other two beamed with a nod before Deku clenched his fist in front of him.

“Yes, let's present ourselves to the world with a smile, because our future is already waiting for us.”
