Work Text:

After the private party in Sacramento Engfa headed back to the hotel, exhausted after a long day. She checked her cell phone hoping to see a response to the message she sent a few hours ago to Charlotte but only found some notifications from her social media.

Once at the hotel she said goodbye to the staff and went directly to the room she shared with Char.

As she still didn't receive a response to her message she assumed that Charlotte was asleep, since after the long day, the alcohol they consumed and all the stress she wasn't feeling very well.

She entered the room trying to make as little noise as possible in case her assumption was true, and just as she thought she found Charlotte sound asleep hugging a stuffed animal that some fans gave her days ago, the sight gave her so much tenderness that she couldn't help taking out her cell phone to take some pictures while admiring the beauty and tenderness of the now redhead.

Carefully she approached her, tucked her in, and went to take a shower.

Once she was in her bedclothes and ready to sleep Engfa was torn between two options:

1- Sleep in the same bed as Charlotte (as she had been doing).

2- Sleeping for the first time in the bed she had not used so far.

As Charlotte was not feeling well, she decided to give her space so she could rest better.

She checked that Charlotte was still tucked in, turned off the lights and using the flashlight of her cell phone she went to her respective bed.

Once inside she checked one last time her social media, answered messages from her sister and mother, checked the time; it was 2:25 a.m. She placed her cell phone on the nightstand; or at least she tried to, because in the dark and not being used to that bed she forgot the location of the table and her phone fell with a loud noise on the floor. As she was about to pick it up she heard Charlotte, in a hoarse voice a sign that she had just woken up call her.

"P'Fa?"

"Yes, it's me... Sorry for waking you up" Engfa replied as she shone her screen at Charlotte.

"It's okay. What were you doing?" Charlotte rolled over on the bed to see Engfa and smiled at her showing that she didn't mind her waking her up.

"Trying to put my cell phone on charge, go back to sleep it's late."

"Mmh... And why are you there?"

"Since you were feeling bad I thought you'd rest better alone."

"Well, you're wrong... Come here... The only thing I need to rest well is you."

At that moment Engfa was grateful for the darkness of the room so that Charlotte could not see her huge blush.

"Are you sure? Don't you think you'd rest better if you had the bed to yourself?"

Flatly Charlotte answered "No" and at that moment she jumped out of her bed and went to P'Fa's bed.

Without even asking permission she opened the sheets and climbed inside. All under the great surprise of Engfa who was still not processing Charlotte's words.

"If the mountain doesn't go to Mohammed..." she said as she placed her head on Engfa's chest and wrapped her arms around her waist. Listening to Engfa's soothing heartbeat always helped her sleep.

For her part Engfa placed her hand on the red hair and began to trace soothing patterns.

"Are you feeling better?" she asked.

"Now... Much better" Charlotte replied smelling Engfa's delicious scent. Slowly she could feel how at last her body and mind were completely relaxed.

Engfa smiled, left a kiss on Charlotte's forehead and continued massaging her scalp.

After a few minutes they both relaxed completely and fell into a deep sleep thinking about how much they meant to each other and wishing they could stay as they were for a very long time.
