Summary
Los dioses valyrios, hartos de la estupidez de los hombres Targaryen y de cómo sus decisiones condenaron a toda la Casa, deciden actuar. Pero nada de lo que intentan parece cambiar el destino que ellos mismos escribieron.
Cansados de ver cómo la historia se repite una y otra vez, toman una decisión definitiva: volver en el tiempo, al origen de todo. A una era donde los Targaryen aún estaban en el poder y un rey débil y manipulable ocupaba el Trono de Hierro.
Los dioses abandonan a Viserys Targaryen y eligen en su lugar a Aemma Arryn. Sin embargo, la diosa Syrax advierte que Aemma carece del fuego necesario para cambiar el destino. Por eso, todos los dioses, en un acto unánime, deciden traer un alma ajena a ese mundo.
Así, Celeste Morgan, exagente de la CIA con un coeficiente intelectual de 180, renace en el cuerpo de Aemma Arryn el día en que dio a luz a su hija, Rhaenyra Targaryen, la verdadera heredera del Trono de Hierro. Ahora, con recuerdos del futuro y la mente de una estratega, Celeste deberá decidir si puede cambiar el destino de la Casa Targaryen, salvar a su hija y desafiar a los dioses... o si caerá como lo hizo la Aemma original.

“Oh; she’s very beautiful.” Holly replied quietly, not quite sure why she couldn’t keep her gaze off of her.
“Yes, she is.” Oscar replied, before looking at Holly in warning. “And clinically insane,” he added with a chuckle, stacking some papers on his desk. Still Holly’s gaze lingered, and Oscar looked at her pointedly. “Hello?” He asked with a snap of his fingers, and she looked at him with a nervous laugh.
“Sorry, I…” Holly trailed off, unsure of what to make of it. “She’s very beautiful,” she repeated, not knowing what else to say as she swallowed.
“Yeah, you said that,” Oscar repeated, a hint of a smile on his face. “You sure you aren’t a lesbian, Holly?” He asked in amusement, sitting down in his chair.
“...no,” Holly replied quietly, before shaking her head of the thought and making her way back to her desk.

Holly and Jan have a lot more in common than they previously thought.

Margo's voice cracked at the edges, that Texas drawl thick and sweet as honey before now raw and barely audible. Her makeup was smudged, mascara tracing her cheeks.
