As he stepped into the dimly lit pizzeria, Murr became aware of just how much he looked forward to not having children to take to birthday parties in places like these. Smelly ball pits, sticky carpet, and creepy anthropomorphic animatronic animals were a sight that he didn’t take loads of joy in.
“Anthropomorphic animatronic animals,” He scoffed dryly into his earpiece, “Try saying that five times fast.”
While Joe, Q, and Sal tried to do just that, Murr got situated at the desk, propping his feet up as he idly flipped through the cameras.
“This punishment is going to be a piece of cake, guys,” He assured confidently as he folded his hands behind his head, briefly interrupted by the ringing of a phone.
“Uhhh, hello? Hello, hello?”
Joe’s voice interjected with a mischievous chuckle, “Are you sure about that, Murry?”
“Yeah! It’s only five nights, how hard could it be?”
