Summary
Laurent has been grieving his father and brother's deaths while escaping to more and more remote luxury destinations trying to drown his sorrows and generally avoid anything to do with the Veretian hotel empire. He finds himself growing antsy and eager to take the reins back from his uncle, Reg, who had been running the company in his absence. What better way to dip his toes back into the hotel world than with a country wine-maker out of Oregon who wouldn't be too much of a challenge to best in the boardroom.
Damen on the other hand is trying to show his dad he's finally ready to take on the winery full time. Theo has one condition -- Damen has to find a romantic partner to run the estate with.
Cue business meetings that turn into dates, Nikandros and Mak trying to protect Damen from himself, Kastor and Reg being generally awful humans, and a side of fake dating in the Willamette Valley.
