   Chuuya is a miko at Atsuta shrine, studying under the great healer and priest Mori Ougai. She is disciplined, devout, and studious. She doesn't swear, she doesn't lose her temper, and she never uses the hideous, sinful ability that lurks in her veins.

   Seven years ago, a forced partnership with an insufferable boy named Dazai Osamu set Chuuya down a path to become the brave, powerful, and jaded miko she is today. Then, when Dazai returns the day after an unlikely murder with a suspiciously cooperative attitude, Chuuya is once again forced to work with the worst asshole and greatest liar she's ever met. But it would seem the Dazai she knew has changed, and with each crumb of truth he drops for her to find, Chuuya finds that the greatest liar she's ever met may just be herself.
