He decided that he just couldn't be cute

Even if everything else is boring to him, he finds you the most interesting

Then it all turned to chaos.

He didn't mind that you brought your rabbit
He knew you needed it to feel safe, and he was completely fine with it
You went on a date to a coffee shop, then hung out at his house playing video games and hanging out with him and his sister
Then you needed to leave to use the bathroom, and Komaru left to do something else
Makoto happily agreed to watch the bunny for you
"Of course! I'll keep the bunny nice and safe for you. I promise!"
He sat the bunny on his bed and went to his bookshelf to find a manga to read
Then he noticed a tall, looming shadow behind him
When he turned around, the now-mutated rabbit lifted him by the throat and slammed him against the bookshelf
You left the bathroom, and came back to a shocking sight
"Bunny! Stop it!"
Startled, the bunny dropped Makoto and stepped back
You helped Makoto up off the ground, and you turned to confront the bunny
You grabbed the creature's shoulders and pulled it down to face you, demanding why it attacked your boyfriend like that
It explained that it felt that Makoto was too weak to protect you, judging by how much of a doormat he was
Not to mention how naive he could be
You weren't taking that of course, and told the rabbit that what it did was not okay
The bunny begrudgingly agreed to stand down, and it changed back to a plush
You picked up the bunny and approached Makoto, who just finished catching his breath
Naturally, he was shaken up, but you explained to him why the bunny acted out
He was a little hurt that the bunny thought that of him, but part of him understood
You asked the bunny to patch things up, and it begrudgingly agreed
They shook hands, though Makoto's hand was shaking
Komaru walked back in, and asked what happened
You, Makoto and the bunny exchanged looks and just said that nothing happened
Then you resumed your night of playing video games while Komaru played with your bunny
And for the time being, things were peaceful

Byakuya Togami

He wasn't too happy that you brought your bunny on the date
It was a library, what could possibly happen to you there?
But he begrudgingly let you bring it not that you needed his permission and you went to the library together
It was peaceful at first
You just sat down and read books together
Of course, you read books that were more your style; cute, innocent and with lots of pictures
Then at one point, you needed to leave to take a phone call
That, combined with you asking Byakuya to watch your bunny, made him even more annoyed
So you left and he went back to his reading
But he didn't even bother to watch the rabbit
It was just a stuffed animal, what did it matter?
But just a short moment later, he heard a creaking behind him, and quickly got out of the way before the bookshelf could fall on him
He could only stare in shock as he saw the mutated rabbit standing there, its red eyes squinted in rage
You walked back in with tears in your eyes, but when you saw the bookshelf, your expression mirrored Byakuya's
The plush rabbit was sitting innocently on top of the toppled shelf
"Are you okay?" You asked Byakuya
He turned to you with an incredulous expression
"How could I possibly be alright when that ghastly rabbit of yours attempted to murder me?!"
You looked at him in confusion
"What are you talking about?"
Byakuya's expression changed to anger
"Don't play coy! Surely you knew that your rabbit could change forms!"
"Well sure, I had some idea; but-"
"You knew that malevolent being could mutate itself, yet you still chose to bring it here?!"
You felt yourself growing more and more anxious, and you forced back tears as you tightly held your hands together
"I d-didn't know it w-was g-gonna a-attack you, though."
Byakuya's building annoyance was changing to rage, and he felt it boiling over before he could stop it
"Well, perhaps if you could mature yourself and think like an adult for once, you would have figured it out! Instead, you carry that silly rabbit and read picture books like a child! Learn to grow up!"
Byakuya realized what he had done immediately
But before he could apologize, you took the rabbit and rushed out the door with tears running down your face
Byakuya was ashamed of himself for what he had done, and could only sit on the ground while holding his head in his hands

Chihiro Fujisaki

You hung out in his room and sat on his lap while he coded
He was more than happy to have the bunny along for the ride
So you spent a good chunk of your time sitting on his lap while reading a book and playing with your bunny in silence
Sometimes, you would ask what Chihiro was doing, and he would excitedly explain what he was working on, and you'll smile at his adorableness
Later into the date, you left to find a different book and Chihiro happily agreed to watch your rabbit
You gave him a kiss on the cheek before you left, making him blush and giggle
After you left, he continued with his work
But he was so immersed in his coding that he didn't notice the rabbit had disappeared
Suddenly, his monitor was lifted from his desk and it crashed into the ground, completely shattering it
Chihiro looked up to see the monster rabbit standing on the desk, staring at him with rage-filled eyes
Horrified, Chihiro quickly backed away from the rabbit beast as it slowly raised its claws over him
You arrived on the scene, and quickly pushed the rabbit against the wall, alarming it and turning it back into its not-so-innocent plush form
Then you turned your attention to Chihiro, who was curled up into a ball on the floor
You sat down in front of him and gently turned his head up to face you
The sight of him crying and afraid broke your heart
You held his face in your hands and spoke to him gently and softly
"Shh... It's okay, Chi-Chi. You're safe now."
You turned away and noticed the broken monitor on the floor
"Oh no... I'm so sorry. I can buy you another one."
You offered, but Chihiro shook his head
"N-No, I can fix it. B-But..."
He crawled into your lap and held onto you for dear life
"I-I was so scared... (Name)..."
You held him close while you pet his head
"I know, Chi-Chi. I know. But you're safe now. Nothing's gonna hurt you."
You weren't sure why the rabbit wanted to hurt someone sweet and harmless like Chihiro, but you did know that you would be there for him through his recovery process

He brought you to a baseball game he was forced to go to
He figured it would be more bearable if you were there watching him
And he didn't mind the bunny plush at all
He actually smiled when he saw it with you
A couple hours before the game, he practiced a little bit on his own, since he hadn't practiced for the entire season

Then you needed to leave to take care of something
Leon decided to take a break and scroll on his phone a little

The rabbit swung at him again, but he dodged and got back on his feet
The nearest object to him was a baseball, so before the rabbit could swing again, Leon picked up the ball and threw it at the rabbit with his full power
The ball hit the rabbit right in the eye, and the impact changed the rabbit back to a plush
The plush fell onto the ground, and Leon stood there, frozen in shock
You came back and asked if he was okay
Leon knew you would ask about why its button eye was dislodged, but he didn't want to say exactly how it happened
Maybe you wouldn't believe him, and would blame him anyway
Honestly, he himself could hardly believe what happened
He decided he would rather take the blame for an "accident" then try to tell the truth, only to be rejected
So he picked up the plush and brought it to you
You asked about its eye and how it got dirty, and Leon took a moment to formulate a response
"Well... The baseball machine over there launched a ball, and I swung really hard, and accidentally hit the bunny. I'm really sorry, (Name)."
Surprisingly, you bought the story and you weren't even that mad at him
Instead, you said that you'll patch up the bunny later, and thanked Leon for telling you the truth

He situated the rabbit's sitting position, and turned away for a second to go through his bag
Then he felt a sharp pain in his face as he toppled sideways
When he looked up, he saw the mutated rabbit standing over him with a very heavy textbook in its hand
The rabbit swung again, and Taka barely dodged it
Out of desperation, he took another textbook and hit the rabbit in the face
This disarmed the rabbit and turned it back into a plush
You came back with some apple juice or whatever else and saw Taka holding his hand to a bruise on his cheek
You asked him what happened, and he quickly said that he fell, that's all
He hated to lie to you, but he didn't even know how to explain what happened while you were gone
You bought it and got an ice pack for his bruise before getting back to studying
But Taka couldn't even concentrate anymore
He was too focused on what happened before, and the guilt from lying to you

Mondo Owada

He wanted to ride around on his motorcycle before picking up dinner somewhere
He grumbled a little bit about your bunny, but oh well, whatever
You met up with him, then realized you forgot the helmet he gave to you
So he waited impatiently while you ran back to your house to get it
Mondo stood against a nearby wall while the bunny hung out on his motorcycle seat
Then he heard the engine revving, and he turned in confusion
Then he had to jump out of the way when the monster rabbit tried to hit him with his own motorcycle
He sat on the sidewalk, frozen in shock and fear
Luckily, you came back before the bunny could try again
You saw Mondo on the ground and got confused
"What happened? Are you okay?"
Mondo forced himself to stand up
"Fuck no I'm not okay! That psycho-ass rabbit just tried to kill me!"
Your eyes widened at that
"What? What are you talking about?"
He gritted his teeth in rage
"Bullshit! You knew this was gonna happen, didn't you?! That must be why you left it here, to give it time to kill me!"
Your eyes were tearing up, and you did your hardest to not let them fall
"M-Mondo... Please..."
But even though he knew he was being unreasonable, he kept going
"Oh, quit acting all innocent! You sicced your bunny on me! Why, because I get pissed off sometimes? Because I'm a biker gang leader? Because-"
He cut himself off when he saw you running away with tears in your eyes
He wanted to ride after you, but there was a hole in both tires
Must've been the damn rabbit's work, he thought
Maybe the rabbit was right to hate him, after all
Mondo could only sit on the sidewalk in guilt and shame as you ran further and further away

Yasuhiro Hagakure

You hung out at home with him and his boss ass mom
You actually got along with her pretty well
But Hiro brought you upstairs to show off his cool fortune telling stuff, and some of the things he bought with his earnings
He did palm readings for you, read your fortunes, and peeked into his "crystal" ball, only to throw some flirty comment at you with a wide ol grin
After an hour, Hiroko called you down for some snacks
You went down to get some, and Hiro was right behind you
At least he was, until he tripped over his fortune telling shit, and started to put it away
Then he realized his crystal ball was missing
He started looking for it, but he couldn't find it anywhere
When he happened to look up at the doorway, he saw your mutated rabbit standing there, and it threw his crystal ball at him with all its might
Luckily, Hiro ducked, so it missed and hit the wall
Meanwhile downstairs, you heard the glass break and wondered what it was
Hiroko didn't seem bothered by it though
"Eh, probably another one of his crystal balls. He breaks those things at least once a week. I tell him not to waste his money, but that boy just doesn't listen."
You, however, felt that something was wrong, so you went back upstairs to see what was up
And you were right, because you walked in to find the bunny holding Hiro up by his neck while he desperately tried to get out
You knocked on the door, and the bunny snapped its head toward you and dropped Hiro
Hiro was naturally freaking out, and started talking about the occult and demons or whatever
You somehow managed to calm him down and explain that your bunny was just very protective of you, and that it won't happen again
It took him some convincing, but he reluctantly agreed to let it go
You talked him and the bunny into making up, which was met with aversion on both ends
But you finally got them to shake hands, and you and Hiro finally went downstairs for some snacks

Hifumi Yamada

He brought you to his place to read/draw manga together
He wanted to show off some of his recent creations
So he rambled about his drawings while you sat and listened
Then you left to go take a piss
While you were gone, Hifumi flipped through his comics to find another one
Then he stumbled upon a drawing he'd never seen before
A tall, monstrous rabbit preparing to kill him with a knife while Hifumi cowered in fear
Confused and unsettled, Hifumi put the drawing down and looked away from it
He looked up to find that very same monster rabbit with the very same knife standing in the very same position
Horrified, Hifumi let out a loud, ear-bleeding squeal
And you came running back
The rabbit heard you coming and switched back
You asked Hifumi what was going on, and he couldn't even produce words
He could only hold up the rabbit's violent drawing with a shaking hand
You put two and two together and had a talk with your bunny
Upon your request, the two begrudgingly shook hands
And you went back to your date, though Hifumi needed a lot of comforting after that

Kyoko Kirigiri

You went on a nice peaceful date to a coffee shop before spending some time at your house
You mostly spent your time talking and cuddling while watching a show
At some point, you left to get some snacks
Kyoko waited patiently on the couch until you got back
Then she noticed the rabbit wasn't in the same spot
She looked around for a moment, and saw its shadow looming over her
She looked behind her and saw the tall rabbit behind her
The rabbit had its hands in what looked like a choking position, but now that it was caught, it just stared wide-eyed at Kyoko
They had a long staring contest until the bunny awkwardly backed away and changed back into a plush
Its attempt had failed, and it was forced to accept defeat
When you came back with the snacks, and Kyoko handed the plush to you
You asked if everything was alright, and she just said that she had an interesting moment with the rabbit, but everything was fine
You weren't sure what that meant, but let it go
With that, you both resumed your date with no incidents

Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jack

You had a nice, relaxing time at the library
Toko wasn't too keen on having the rabbit there, but oh well
So you read together while Toko playfully teased you about your taste in books
Then you left to take a phone call
While Toko waited, she accidentally inhaled some dust and let out a sneeze
Now we know Genocide Jill doesn't like to stay in one place, so she bolted out of the library started running all over the place
You came back to the library in a distressed state
You could guess what happened, and started to look for Genocide Jill with an exhausted sigh
Suddenly, you heard her shriek loudly, and immediately followed the sound
Meanwhile, the monster rabbit backed Genocide Jill into a wall, and she did not care for this
Out of pure impulse, she shut her eyes and lashed at the rabbit with her scissors
When she opened her eyes, the rabbit's right arm was on the floor next to it
An expression of genuine pain crossed the rabbit's face, and it changed back into a plush
And when you arrived on the scene, she switched back to Toko
Your eyes widened in shock when they landed on the de-armed rabbit
"Th-There you are! Come g-get your animal!"
You knelt down and swept the rabbit into your arms
"What happened? Why did you do this?"
"It w-wasn't me! It was h-her! B-Besides, it was y-your fault for leaving that d-damn rabbit with me! M-Maybe if you l-learned to let g-go of these c-childish things, you w-would know b-better!"
You looked up at her with a glare
"You're right. I should've known better than to trust you with anything."
You spat the words like venom, and you took your rabbit and walked away
Toko could only watch as you left, wanting to apologize but not knowing how to

Aoi Asahina

She took you on a pool date
And she was more than happy to have the bunny along
The bunny chilled in a pool float while you and Aoi played and splashed each other
Near the end of the date, you left to grab some towels while Aoi was getting out
When she did, she noticed the bunny wasn't in its original spot
She bent down a little to see if it fell into the pool
But when she did, she felt a tight grip on the back of her neck followed by her head being shoved into the water
She frantically flailed her arms, but to no avail
Out of desperation, she hooked her legs underneath her attacker's body and threw them over her head and into the water
She raised her head from the water, coughing and trying to catch her breath
You came back and rushed to her side immediately
You wrapped a towel around her body, and when you asked what happened, she could barely even speak
But seeing the plush bunny float to the top of the pool, you could guess what happened
You helped Aoi to her feet, collected your plush and together you left the pool to do something more relaxing
Sayaka Maizono

That night, she planned to take you to one of her concerts
You watched her practice in the auditorium, cheering and clapping for her
Then she took a break and asked for some water
So you left to get her some
Sayaka spent some time looking through her sheet music and songs, when her intuition told her something was wrong
Then she realized the bunny wasn't in the same spot, sitting in one of the theater seats
Then she heard the stage creak behind her, and she felt afraid to look behind her
There it was, the bunny
In all it's twisted, mutated glory
And it held Sayaka's microphone in its large hand
And it slowly brought the microphone over her head
Before the rabbit could swing down, Sayaka quickly moved out of the way
It swung a couple more times, until Sayaka grabbed the mic stand and sharply prodded the bunny's back, pushing it off the stage
With an innocent squeaky sound, it hit the ground and changed back to its plushy form
Sayaka stared down at it, not knowing what to do
You walked back in with some water, and seeing Sayaka's expression, you asked if she was alright
Forcing a smile, she told you she was fine, and thanked you for the water
And you walked on the stage and hugged her with a smile
And she tensely hugged you back, feeling guilty for lying to you

Celestia Ludenburg

You had a chill date at her place
Drinking her delightful milk tea and sharing quality time together
At one point, your phone rung and you went outside to answer it
Celeste took your cups and brought them to the kitchen to wash them later
Then she noticed the rabbit was missing from its spot on the table
After looking for a brief moment, she found it
Except it was in its monster form, biting into her shoulder
Celeste didn't even have time to stop the rabbit's actions before it pulled away and stepped back
It stared down at her in anger, and it lifted its hands to place them on her shoulders
But you walked back in with a distraught expression, and the bunny changed back before you could notice
Celeste didn't notice your expression
Instead, she asked you one question and one question only
"My dear, why does your little rabbit despise me so?"
You lifted your head and faced her with a tired expression
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Celeste narrowed her eyes
"Don't tell me you do not notice. There is a very large bite mark in my right shoulder, and I'm quite sure that it wanted to push me into that fireplace before you intervened."
Your eyes widened at that
"Oh... Well, I don't know."
Celeste glared at you before looking away
"Hm. Well, if you paid the slightest bit of attention to the world around you instead of tuning it out to live in your made-up child's world, perhaps you would. How disappointing."
She didn't raise her voice, but she spoke with such intensity and sharpness that it hurt you just as much as yelling
With that, you took the bunny and left her mansion
Celeste knew what she had done, but it was too late to fix it
She could only sit on her couch and bow her head in shame
She would deal with the bite later, but for now, the overwhelming guilt of what she had done hurt far worse

Sakura Ogami

You met her at her family dojo to watch her train
You started the day working out together, meditating together and enjoying her world famous protein coffee
And now, you got to watch her train her hardest for any challenges ahead
When it was time for her to take a break, you left to fetch her a protein shake
She smiled and thanked you before you left
While you were gone, she did some stretches to warm up for her next exercises
Then she noticed the rabbit was gone
She looked around for a moment, and noticed it standing on the other side of the dojo
It beckoned her toward it with its hand
Sakura recognized an invitation to fight, and she refused, not wanting to hurt your most beloved possession
But it ran up to her and started to throw punches, it's fur bristling with rage
Sakura dodged the blows, but the anthropomorphic rabbit was surprisingly skilled
Eventually, enough was enough and she landed a strong punch to its stomach, right in the little heart pattern, and sent it flying towards the back wall
That sent it in a daze and changed it to its smaller plush form
Sakura took a moment to calm down, immediately regretting what she did
She quickly rushed to the bunny and carefully lifted it into her arms
You re-entered the dojo with her favorite protein shake, and saw her in a distressed state
She walked over to you and carefully handed you the bunny
"I am so sorry, my love..."
Upon questioning, you learned that your beloved rabbit tried to fight her, only to lose miserably
She apologized over and over, but you reassured her that it was only self defense, and that you didn't blame her at all
Plus, she didn't wound the animal in any way, so what was there to be sorry for?
She eventually stopped apologizing and thanked you for the protein shake before hugging you
Then she resumed her training, and you supported her from the sidelines all the while

Mukuro Ikusaba

Mukuro wanted to something calm for a date, so you went to a nice coffee shop
Then you walked back to her place together
Junko was busy with a modeling gig, so it was just the two of you
Mukuro showed you around her backyard, where she often trained
There were different kinds of targets, and dummies used for practice fighting
You went inside to use the bathroom, and Mukuro used that time to sharpen her gun skills
Then she stopped, feeling that something was off
And she was proven to be correct when your now mutated rabbit grabbed one of her guns and fired at her
She swiftly moved to dodge it, and hesitated before grabbing her own gun
She didn't wanna hurt the rabbit, it was your favorite thing!
Then it fired at her again and again, and she had no choice
So she engaged in a duel with this rabbit, shooting back and forth and dodging each other's shots
Soon, Mukuro decided enough was enough and fired at the bunny's stomach
That was enough to put it in its place and turn it back to plush form
Mukuro took a minute to catch her breath before you came back outside
You asked if she was alright, and she insisted to be fine, and you noticed the plush rabbit on the other side of the yard
Mukuro followed your gaze and picked up the rabbit before handing it to you
She shyly explained what happened, and apologized profusely for harming it
Of course, you understood completely, and you weren't angry at her
She still felt bad, so you hugged her, which helped a lot
You spent some time watching her train before settling down and watching movies for the rest of the night

Junko Enoshima

She took you on a shopping date to find you cute clothes
You went to like, five shopping malls before calling it a day
Any time you tried to slow down, she convinced you to go to another mall
She's got money galore, it's no problem at all
In the later afternoon, you went to her house
Mukuro was out on the battlefield again, so it was just the two of you
She had you try everything on, and she loved almost every look on you
She had some constructive criticisms here and there, but she mostly showered you with compliments
She helped you put all the clothes away before ordering food
Then she entered her room to fix her makeup while you waited downstairs
Then she noticed one of her makeup brushes was gone
Particularly one with a very sharp end
Frustrated, she turned the light on and started looking for it
It didn't take long for her to figure out where it went
It was in the large, clawed hand of a certain anthropomorphic rabbit
It held the opposite end, the sharp one, in Junko's direction
It slowly approached her with the brush held over Junko's face
She quickly kicked the rabbit away and threw a nearby shoe at it before running downstairs
She dragged you back upstairs to show you the rabbit, only to find it back in its plush form
Thankfully, when she explained it to you, you believed it
She was really skeptical about the rabbit when you explained why you acted that way, but she supposed she could understand
After all, her sister was the exact same with her
So she agreed to leave it alone and continue with your date
And for the rest of the night, you ate food while watching movies (cough cough Mean Girls) and falling asleep in her room
Despite everything, it was a perfect date

Chapter Text

You just made the biggest mistake of your life.

The ONE time you didn’t take your rabbit plush with you when you left.

Your significant other invited you to the beach, and you didn’t want your plush to get wet or fall into the sand, so you left it at your cottage.

Big mistake.

You knew your plush was sentient. When you were having a particularly bad day, it would snuggle up to you and play the music box that was inside of it. Every time you talked to it, it always nodded its head like it was listening.

You believed that it was your grandma’s spirit watching over you. It was comforting to you.

Until your plush noticed how much time you spent with your significant other.

For years, you had never gotten close to anyone. And now, out of nowhere, you were suddenly in a relationship?

Naturally, your plush was suspicious.

It had always been protective of you. Whenever someone bullied you, they would be gone the next day.

Like they had disappeared.

One thing you noticed is how your plush was in a different spot when you woke up in the morning. It unnerved you, but you decided to not pay much thought.

Until your beloved rabbit plush would pose a threat to your significant other.

Meanwhile, at the beach, you couldn’t help but be a little nervous.

You had never gone anywhere without your plush. By this point, you were sure you would rather get it wet or dirty than not have it at all.

You’re on the edge of a panic attack when your significant other approaches you.

Hajime Hinata

Hajime noticed you shaking a little bit and tried to calm you down
“Hey, hey, it’s ok. I’ll be right here the whole time. You don’t need your plush to have fun, right? I’m sure it’ll be glad you’re having fun without it.”
You decided he was right and followed him into the water
The plush was watching from the cottage window, furious
Not only was Hajime trying to trick you into leaving it at the cottage, he was also putting words in its mouth?
No way was Hajime escaping alive
After the beach trip, Hajime headed to his cottage to change clothes while you went to the restaurant
And there was the rabbit, sitting on his dresser
Hajime just stared at it, confused
What was the plush doing there?
He supposed you left it at his house after spending the night, but he didn’t remember seeing it
He shrugged it off, though he could swear he felt the rabbit’s eyes on him
He changed his clothes and left the bathroom
And when he did, he was immediately tackled to the ground
After recovering from the shock, and a sharp pain in the back of his head, he looked up to see the rabbit standing in front of him
With every step it took towards him, its form began to change
It grew from a cute, innocent plush to a twisted, human-sized monster
Hajime couldn’t even form words
The rabbit kneeled down to his level and pressed its large paw on his chest, with a knife in the other
Suddenly, it opened its mouth, revealing sharp, pointed teeth, and spoke with a deep voice
“You will not hurt them any longer.”
Meanwhile, you noticed Hajime was taking too long and went to his cottage
The rabbit heard you coming and halted
You opened the door to find Hajime by the wall, pale-skinned, sweating, stiff and frozen with fear
You rushed over him and asked what happened
He couldn’t speak, only raised a shaky hand and pointed behind you
You looked behind you and saw your plush sitting on the dresser, innocent looking like always
You were confused
How did it even get there in the first place?
You walked over to it and it opened its arms for a hug
You picked it up and Hajime watched you, mouth wide open in shock
You weren’t sure how to feel
The plush snuggled up to you, happy and innocent, while your boyfriend was frozen with fear behind you
What happened while you were gone?
After that, Hajime told you what happened
You weren’t sure what to think
On one hand, your rabbit had been with you since you were a child, even before the death of your grandma
It had always been loving and caring to you, and you couldn’t picture it hurting anyone
Besides, the whole thing just sounded ridiculous
How could a plush rabbit change forms like that?
But on the other hand, you didn’t want to call your boyfriend a liar
He was the first person you’ve ever made a connection to since your grandma
And what he told you would explain what happened to your bullies in the past
You lay awake in bed that night, alone in your cottage, your rabbit sitting on your dresser
You had no idea what you were going to do
But you supposed you would figure it out tomorrow
And all the while, your rabbit sits and watches you sleep, making sure Hajime doesn’t break into your cottage

Nagito Komaeda

When you started panicking without your plush, Nagito calmed you down with a warm smile
Unlike Hajime, he actually offered to go back to your cottage and get your plush for you
“Hey, maybe I could go back to your cottage and get it for you? I can sit on the sand and hold it, make sure it doesn’t get dirty.”
You agreed and Nagito happily headed over to your cottage to get it
There it was, chilling on your dresser
Nagito picked it up with a smile
“Hey there, little guy. (Name) needs you to provide them with the hope that rests within you.”
But the second he picked it up, everything went to hell
The plush lunged at his throat and knocked him to the ground
As Nagito looked up, the plush stood before him as a monster, knife in one of its clawed hands
Nagito couldn’t even be afriad
He just watched the plush
“Ah, well, that’s just my luck. I guess hope needs to be destroyed by hope to create an even bigger hope.”
Thankfully, you noticed he was taking so long and came just in time
You ran up to the rabbit and caught it in the act
“Stop!”
The rabbit obeyed and stepped away, dropping the knife to the ground
You rushed over Nagito and helped him up
The rabbit changed back to its plush form, and looked at you with shock as you picked it up with fear and anger in your eyes
“What is wrong with you?!”
Nagito gave you a worried look but you gave him a reassuring smile and he took a step back
You walked over to the corner with your rabbit
“Why would you do that?”
The rabbit’s ears drooped down with shame
It explained, in small squeaks, that it was worried about you and only wanted to protect you
You told it that you understood, but that you were genuinely happy with Nagito, and that he loved you back
The rabbit reluctantly agreed to never hurt your boyfriend again, but that it would still keep an eye on him
You approached your boyfriend and apologized for your rabbit
He just awkwardly laughed it off and said it’s fine
The rabbit reached out its paw for Nagito to shake
His eyes widened and he looked up at you
You smiled and nodded at him to shake it
Nagito reached out and shook its paw, successfully making peace
Nagito had no idea about what just happened, but he trusted you, so he went along with it
You explained to him that your rabbit just wanted to protect you, and that you would make sure it wouldn’t hurt him again
Nagito understood, and now that everyone was at the restaurant, you took the rabbit plush and joined them
The rabbit sat on the table while the others had fun and talked amongst themselves
Nagito watched with a smile as you played with your rabbit’s paws and rubbed its ears
He didn’t even ask why the rabbit was sentient
While you weren’t watching, the rabbit turned to Nagito with narrowed eyes
It gestured to its eyes with its paw and then to Nagito
Nagito gulped and nodded
Even if the plush wasn’t gonna hurt him again, it could definitely be unnerving at times

Kazuichi Soda

Tried his best to assure you that you didn’t need your plush all the time
“Hey, easy there, (Name). You don’t need that plush all the time! Just enjoy your time at the beach with all our friends! It’ll be fun, I promise!”
You agree and enjoy your time at the beach
After the beach trip was over, Kazuichi headed to his cottage to change clothes
The second he opened the door, a hard metal object hit him in the forehead
After recovering, he looked down and saw a wrench on the ground
He looked up and saw your rabbit plush, standing on the dresser next to his toolbox
The rabbit reached into the toolbox and threw even more tools at him
Hammers, screwdrivers, a box of nails
Kazuichi did his best to dodge them and prepared himself to lunge at the rabbit, before seeing the knife in its paw
Which had him cowering towards the wall
You heard all the noise and went to investigate
And walked in to find your plush, now a monster, holding your boyfriend by the throat against the wall
The rabbit heard you open the door and released Kazuichi
The bunny looked at you with shame as it changed back into a plush
You picked up the rabbit and asked why it did it
And of course, it was only looking out for you
You asked it to never do it again and it agreed, but not without promising to keep an eye on Kazuichi
You nodded and hugged the plush, while Kazuichi stood up and gaped at you
“Uh… What the hell is going on?”
You explained to him that your rabbit was trying to protect you and apologized on its behalf
He asked why the rabbit was sentient, but you didn’t really have an answer
You just told him that it was comforting for you, and asked him not to judge you
Kazuichi could hardly believe what happened, but he managed to calm down
You guys headed to the restaurant with your rabbit plush
Kazuichi was uncomfortable at first, but felt safer knowing that he won’t be alone
He’s definitely a lot more afraid of your plush now, but he trusts you to make sure it doesn’t harm him
Doesn’t mean he won’t get nervous when the rabbit makes an “I’m watching you” gesture at him

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Just scoffed at you
Normally, he didn’t mind your rabbit plush too much, but when there were situations like this, he would get annoyed
“Tch, can’t you go five goddamn seconds without that stupid stuffed animal?”
He hurt your feelings sometimes, but you knew that you needed to learn to be without it
Your rabbit hated him from the beginning
After the trip, he headed to his cottage to change clothes
There stood your rabbit, at six feet tall, with one of his guns
The second he opened the door, the rabbit immediately fired a shot at him
Thanks to Fuyuhiko’s smallness, the rabbit missed
The rabbit fired again, and then again, and Fuyuhiko dodged both times
He reached for one of his other guns and fired a bullet at the plush
The rabbit fell back and stopped shooting
The shot made it change back into a plush
It went limp, but the bullet didn’t harm it at all
You heard all the gunshots and went over as fast as possible
You walked in to find Fuyuhiko, gun in hand, and a bullet hole in your beloved rabbit
Fuyuhiko expected you to take his side without needing to explain what happened
But you picked up your plush, shot an angry glare at your boyfriend, and left
You knew he wasn’t a fan of your plush, but you never expected him to stoop to this level
Your plush gave him a victorious smile over your shoulder
Fuyuhiko watched with shock as you left his cottage, and possibly his life altogether

Gundham Tanaka

Assured you that his Dark Devas of Destruction will protect your plush
“Worry not, (Name), for my powerful Dark Devas of Destruction will keep a watchful eye on your loyal companion!”
That made you feel better, so you tried to put your mind at ease and enjoy your time at the beach
After an hour or two, you and Gundham walk together to the restaurant
Until Gundham hears angry squeaks from his cottage and investigates
He walks in to find his Dark Devas of Destruction in heated battle with your rabbit plush, with your plush winning
The plush had changed into a twisted monster, gripping Cham-P in its paws, while the others sat on the floor, squeaking at the rabbit aggressively
Gundham is frozen at first
On one hand, his beloved Devas are getting hurt, and he needs to stop it
But on the other hand, he doesn’t want to hurt your special companion
So he calls you to help him
But the second he left, the bunny changed back
Gundham ushers his Devas to safety and calms them down, before telling you everything
Once again, you talk it out with your plush and it agrees to not hurt Gundham or his Devas again
You talk to Gundham and he understands, and he doesn’t bear any ill will towards your rabbit
Doesn’t even ask why it’s sentient

Naturally, the rabbit hated him from the beginning
After the trip was over, Teruteru went to his cottage to get his cooking supplies to make dinner for everyone
There stood the rabbit in the doorway, in monster form, with one of his kitchen knives in hand
Teruteru immediately freaked out and ran to find you
You could hardly understand what he was saying, but three words you could make out were “rabbit,” “knife”, and “kill”
So you immediately went to his cottage to see what was going on
The rabbit sat on the counter, looking innocent, but you noticed the knife on the counter
You picked up the plush in your hands and gave it a hard look
“I don’t know what you did to freak Teruteru out so badly, but he’s done nothing wrong, and I doubt he ever will. Please don’t hurt him.”
It promised not to do anything, as long as Teruteru held off on the pervy comments
You approached Teruteru with this and he swore to stop with the pervy remarks
Of course, you didn’t mind the occasional flirty comment, but you warned him to be careful
He’s still curious about why the rabbit was alive, but decided not to ask
You waited in the dining hall with the others while Teruteru was cooking
You still weren’t sure what your rabbit did, but you didn’t want it anywhere near the knives
When Teruteru brought the food out, he was on his best behavior, with no perviness whatsoever
The rabbit still made sure he knew he wasn’t entirely forgiven, though

Nekomaru Nidai

Told you that you were strong enough to be without it
“CHEER UP, (Name)! YOU’RE BRAVE, AND STRONG, AND YOUR RABBIT KNOWS IT TOO! YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS!”
Despite his loudness, you can’t help but feel empowered
So you take his advice and have fun without your plush
Near the end of the day, he heads back to his cottage to take a shit
He notices the rabbit on the dresser
He lifts it up without a second thought
“Hey, little guy! Y'know, (Name)’s gotten real strong! You’ve done a real good job protecting them!”
Next thing he knows, the rabbit lands a strong punch to his jaw
It had shapeshifted one of its small paws into a clawed hand
It’s enough to make him fall on his butt
He has to admit, he’s impressed by the rabbit’s strength, he can’t help but have a little laugh
But then it hit him
Why the fuck did it punch him in the first place??
It was supposed to be an inanimate object, how did it do that?
Even more so, how did it have the strength of an adult man?
Wait a second…
What was it doing in his cottage to begin with?
His awe changes to shock and fear
He picks up the plush and brings him to you
Watches you cuddle the plush uneasily
He decides not to tell you about what happened
He figured you wouldn’t believe him, and he knew how much the plush meant to you
And he could see how much you meant to the rabbit
So he kept his mouth shut
But he kept thinking about it, even after hours later

The Impostor

Like most of the others, he convinced you that you don’t need it
“You’re already at the beach, there’s no reason to go back for it. Besides, you wouldn’t want to get it dirty, right?”
You reluctantly agree and just try to enjoy yourself at the beach
The rabbit hated him because of his talent
If he could fake his talent and appearance, how did it know he wasn’t faking his love for you?
So it didn’t want to risk it
So when the Impostor headed to his cottage, the monster rabbit wasted no time in lunging towards him and landing a strong punch to the stomach, knocking him off balance
The Impostor hit the wall, out of breath from the blow
Before he could react, the rabbit punched and kicked his stomach again and again until he was on the ground
Once again, you noticed how long he was taking and went to see what was wrong
You helped the Impostor off the ground and gave your rabbit a very stern talking-to
The Impostor was still winded from the rabbit’s antics, so you just went to the restaurant and brought back some food for you guys to eat together
You kept a close eye on the rabbit while you guys ate
You did understand the rabbit’s intentions, but hurting your boyfriend was not ok
Your rabbit now knows that what it did was wrong, and swears to not do it again unless the Impostor betrays your trust

Izuru Kamakura

Offers to get the plush for you, but you refuse
“Easy, (Name), you’re alright. If you wish, I can go to your cottage and retrieve your stuffed rabbit for you.”
But you refuse and make the choice to try to have fun without it
The rabbit didn’t like him because he had every talent, including Ultimate Cuteness
Not only could he use a harmful talent against you, he could also usurp you!
When it’s time to head to the restaurant, Izuru goes to get your plush so you can have it with you
Of course, the second the plush lunged at him, Izuru gripped it by the back of the neck and held it up
He wasn’t even surprised
It didn’t even have a chance to change forms-
He met you at the restaurant and brought the plush to you
“I don’t think your rabbit cares for me very much.”
He didn’t seem bothered by it or concerned in anyway
It’s just a plush, he can take it
You still told your plush to ease up and to not kill your boyfriend and it agreed
Then you guys enjoyed a lovely dinner together at the restaurant

Chiaki Nanami

Was originally just going to play video games the whole time
But when she noticed how panicked you were, she offered to get in the water with you to make you feel better
“Hey, hey, you’re alright. How about we get in the water together? Will that make you feel better?”
So you guys play in the water together and have a good time
Funny thing is, the rabbit didn’t care for her because it worried that she didn’t give her enough attention
Boy was it wrong
When she sees how much happier you are, Chiaki decides to forgo her video games for your sake
So she goes to your cottage to put them back, where the rabbit attacked
The rabbit stood there, stared straight at her, lifted its foot and crushed one of her game consoles
Then it started towards her, one of its hands outreached
Chiaki turned and ran away and went to find you
You apologized on the rabbit’s behalf and scolded it
You offered to buy her a new console, but she declined
“It’s ok, (Name). I actually didn’t use it that much anyway.”
She hugged you and everything was all good
You guys brought your handheld consoles and your plush to the restaurant and played games together the whole time

Mikan Tsumuki

Tries her absolute best to calm you down and offers to get the plush for you
“P-Please don’t be sad! I can go and get it for you!”
You decline, not wanting to put her through any trouble
After your time at the beach, Mikan goes to your cottage to get the plush for you
When she opens the door, she sees the monster plush holding a syringe in its hand
Immediately terrified, but unable to move
The rabbit starts towards her with the deadly syringe
After finding her voice, Mikan lets out a blood-curdling scream
You hear it and see what’s going on
After seeing the rabbit with the syringe, you step in front of Mikan protectively
She clutches onto your arm and buries her face into your shoulder
The rabbit backs down and puts the syringe away, looking down shamefully and changing back into its plush form
You get out of Mikan’s grip and pick up the rabbit, while Mikan warns you to be careful
You ask the rabbit what that was all about, and it explains that it didn’t feel that Mikan was strong enough to protect you
You’re grateful Mikan can’t understand the rabbit’s squeaks
You defend Mikan while assuring it that you’ll be fine and that you’re happier with her
So the rabbit agrees to stand down
You decide to leave the rabbit at your cottage while you and Mikan are at the restaurant
On the way, she asks you if she’s not strong enough for you
“(Name)… D-Do you think… I-I’m too weak…?”
You assure her that she’s perfect for you, and that you couldn’t ask for a better partner
She smiles and rests her head on your shoulder while you walk together, clutching your arm all the while

Akane Owari

Doesn’t think you need it
“C'mon, (Name)! You don’t need that plush of yours to have fun!”
A little bit tough, but you understand
Heads back to her cottage to change clothes, and the monster rabbit immediately starts toward her
But Akane, with her strong fists and top-tier reflexes, saw the rabbit and gave it a good punch to the stomach
She didn’t go too far though, she knows how important it is to you
She was so stunned, she couldn’t do much else anyway
The rabbit changes back into a plush, and hits the wall hard
She grabbed the plush by the back of the neck and brought it to you, explaining what happened
The plush explained that it felt that Akane is too tough for you, and that you deserve someone nicer
You agree, but you do appreciate how Akane looks out for you and tries to toughen you up
You tell the rabbit that even though she can be a bit of a hardass sometimes, you love her anyway
You turn to Akane and ask her to tone it down and be gentler with you
She can’t promise to be too soft, but she’ll try her best to tone it down
You guys head to the restaurant and eat your fill, with Akane occasionally glaring at the rabbit

Hiyoko Saionji

Like Fuyuhiko, but less of a jerk
“Ugh, come on, (Name)! You don’t need that stupid plush with you all the time! Just play with me! It’ll be fun!”
So you guys have fun playing together
When she heads back to her cottage, the monster rabbit tackles her
It grabbed her by the shoulders and lifted her up
She starts crying and calling for you
“I’m sorry, Mr. Rabbit! I didn’t mean it, I swear! (Name)! (Naaaaammee)!”
You hear her call and run to the cottage as fast as you could
You push the rabbit away and help Hiyoko off the ground
She hugs you tightly while crying
When she calms down, you angrily reprimand the rabbit for what it did
It explains that Hiyoko is a bitch and that it hates her
You tell it that she’s harmless, and that you don’t want to be with anyone else
It apologizes and swears to never do it again
Hiyoko swears to be nicer from now on
So the two of you head to the restaurant with the rabbit in tow, ready to eat your fill and put everything behind you

Mahiru Koizumi

“Hey, easy, easy. You’ll be alright without it. Now let’s take some pictures together!”
So Mahiru takes some pictures of you in your adorable swimsuit and some pictures of you two together
After all is said and done, she goes to her cottage to print the pictures and put them in the secret photo album she never told you about
And that’s when the rabbit threw a knife at the wall near her
She turned around just in time to dodge another knife it threw at her
After failing twice, the rabbit took another knife and chased her around with it until it cornered her
You came just in time to stop it
Mahiru couldn’t explain what happened with words, but thankfully, she caught the whole thing on camera
You watched the video and gave your rabbit a scolding before heading to the restaurant
Mahiru asked you why the rabbit was alive, and couldn’t help but be skeptical when you couldn’t give her an answer
But respected that it was comforting for you and just left it alone

Ibuki Mioda

Tries to cheer you up a bit
“Don’t ya worry, (Name)! You can have fun without it! Now come with Ibuki and let’s go in the water together!”
She brought her guitar to the beach and played your favorites
She returned to her cottage to put her guitar away, and out of nowhere, one of the strings snapped and left a mark on her face and earned a shriek of pain from her
She looked down to find the rabbit, knife in hand, in monster form, who had cut the string
Immediately, Ibuki ran out to find you and told you everything that happened
You’re doubtful, but she brings you to her cottage to show you her guitar
You notice how the string was cut, and didn’t just snap on its own
So you believe her and ask your rabbit plush why it did it
You explain to Ibuki that your rabbit was overprotective of you and that it won’t happen again
She asks you why the rabbit was alive, and you told her that you believed it was your grandma’s spirit
She thought it was cool
You guys went to the restaurant, where you hung out with your friends and Ibuki played her greatest hits

Sonia Nevermind

Another one who asked to get your rabbit for you
“Please calm down, (Name)! It’s alright, I’m here. If you like, I can go to your cottage and retrieve your rabbit for you.”
You decline, and decide to just tough it out
You guys hung out on the sand together, and Sonia helped you to relax
So it was a pretty good time
When it was over, Sonia went to your cottage to get your rabbit while you headed to the restaurant
There was the rabbit, transformed, with one of her fancy knives
Sonia, not knowing what to do, backed up toward the wall
After a long moment, she kicked the rabbit in the stomach, knocking the knife out of its hand, causing it to change back
She picked up the plush and ran to find you
When she gave the plush to you, you asked what took her so long
She debates about whether or not to tell you
Decides not to tell you because she doesn’t want you to freak out
Lies and tells you that she couldn’t find the plush at first
You thank her and give her a hug
She stiffly returns it with a nervous smile, hoping you don’t find out the truth

Peko Pekoyama

Also offered to get the plush for you
“It’s alright, young master. I’ve got you. Do you want me to go back and get your plush for you?”
You agree and ask her to get it, which she gladly does
She heads back to your cottage to find your plush, but can’t find it anywhere
Starts to panic a little bit
After going back to the main area for the third time, she found the rabbit, transformed, with her sword in hand
Not only was the plush alive, but it was somehow strong enough to hold her sword
Even more so, it was completely transformed into an entirely different entity
She could only stare in shock
Until the rabbit ran toward her with the sword, and she ran over to her cottage to get one of her spare swords
Literally ends up in a swordfight with your rabbit
It takes a little bit but she manages to knock the sword out of the plush’s paw
It finally lets up and changes back
Picks up the plush and heads back to the beach to give it to you
You thank her and ask her what took so long and that you were worried about her
Apologizes for worrying you and tells you that it took a while to find it, not telling you about what the plush did
You smile at her and lean on her shoulder, snuggling the rabbit close to you
Peko gives you a small smile, trying her best not to let her worry show on her face
She doesn’t know what to do, but she hopes you don’t discover the truth

Chapter Text

Such a small mistake.

Your significant other had asked you out to a date inside the school, as most of the others were in their rooms and you would be completely alone.

In your excitement to leave, you forgot your bunny plush.

The Bunny was already angry at your significant other, but now you were so invested in them that you completely forgot about your own best friend?

It was at that moment that it knew you significant other had to go.

While you and your significant other were walking down the hallways, you finally noticed that you didn’t have your bunny.

You couldn’t believe you forgot your own best friend.

With this being the first time you didn't bring your plush with you, you naturally began to panic.

Shuichi Saihara

“Hey, hey, it’s okay. If you want, I can go back and get it for you.”
As much as you want to accept, you refuse
You were already near the end of the hallway, there wasn’t really a point
Besides, you needed to learn to be without it, anyway
So you say no, and he smiles, telling you how proud he is of you
So you guys continue with your date, and you guys head to the cafeteria to find something to eat, then taking it to his lab
You guys eat in his lab while he tells stories about some of the cases he covered
Y'all exchange stories, cuddle and hang out for a few hours, and your feelings of anxiety completely vanished
After your date, you left and headed back to your room
You had to use the bathroom, so Shuichi waited outside for you
But he had an overwhelming feeling something was wrong and entered your room
Everything was dark, and the first thing he noticed was that your rabbit was missing from its place on the bed
He walked forward to see if it had fallen off the other side of the bed, and that’s where everything went to hell
The Bunny, transformed into a monster, stalked up behind him
The second Shuichi turned around, he quickly found himself on the bed, with the Bunny’s claws wrapped around his throat
Shuichi’s face was completely pale from fear, and he couldn’t even form words
The Bunny’s hands tightened and tightened around his throat, trying to break it
That was when you came back from the bathroom, and saw it
“What’s going on?!”
Startled, the Bunny released Shuichi’s throat and turned around, its bright red eyes wide
It moved out of the way as you approached Shuichi, gasping heavily
You helped him sit up before turning to the Bunny, dragging it away from the bed and angrily reprimanding it for its actions
The Bunny hung its head in shame, it’s long ears flopping down
It apologized and told you why it did it
You explained that Shuichi would never harm you, and that it had no need to worry
It hesitated before nodding in understanding, and then it hugged you
Then it changed back into plush form and you picked it up
You explained the whole thing to Shuichi, who understood, and had an idea that the Bunny was sentient anyway
So the three of you left, and went to meet up with the others
And the Bunny did some bonding with your boyfriend

Rantaro Amami

“Hey, it’s okay, (Name). Do you want me to go back and grab the Bunny for you?”
This time, you actually did ask him to go back for it, and he happily agreed
So he headed to your dorm, and the second he stepped inside, the Bunny lunged at him and pinned him to the ground
Rantaro couldn’t even be afraid, he was just shocked
He could only stare into the Bunny’s rage-filled eyes as it’s clawed hands pressed onto his chest
You heard all the noise, being only halfway down the hallway, and rushed back to your room
You kicked the Bunny’s shoulder and knocked it off, changing it back to a plush
You helped Rantaro off the ground before confronting the Bunny
It explained in its lifelike squeaks that it only wanted to protect you, and you defended Rantaro while assuring it that he would never harm you
The Bunny decided to take your word for it and swore to never harm him again
You told Rantaro about the whole thing, and he wasn’t mad about it
He shook hands with the Bunny and you continued with your date, with the Bunny this time

Kokichi Oma

“Pfft, c'mon, (Name)! The Bunny will be fine spending a couple hours by itself. Now let’s go prank some losers!”
After running around the academy causing trouble for the others, you forgot all about it
Kokichi always knew how to distract you
After a couple hours, you headed off to your respective rooms to take showers
Kokichi might have made a flirty comment about showering with you
Your Bunny plush was in the same spot as it was earlier and made you smile before getting ready to take a shower
Kokichi noticed his room door was cracked open and got suspicious
When he entered the room, the Bunny was right behind him, and grabbed him by the neck before tossing him at the bathroom wall
Which wasn’t hard, cuz he’s a small boi
You heard the noise and got distracted
The Bunny wasn’t on your bed anymore
But you were still in the room, and you never heard the door open
You didn’t have time to ponder it though, as you rushed out the door to find Kokichi
And there he was, in a daze, slumped against the bathroom wall with the Bunny standing in the doorway
You tried to enter the bathroom, but the Bunny blocked you
“It’s not safe.”
The Bunny didn’t trust someone who was the “Ultimate Supreme Leader”
Which engaged a conversation where the Bunny calmly expressed its worries and you angrily demanded it to move
After calming down, you assured it that Kokichi would never do anything to hurt you, and that he wouldn’t lie about anything serious
Reluctantly, the Bunny nodded and moved aside
You helped up Kokichi, who was still recovering from bumping his head
He thought the whole thing was crazy at first, before quickly switching gears
“(Name), that’s awesome! A plush that can change into a monster rabbit? That’s sick! I bet the Bunny can take Gonta out!”
Kokichi wasn’t too angry about it, but the Bunny was still skeptical about him
But then you guys finally took your showers and left
Your Bunny would eventually bond with Kokichi about weapons n stuff

Kaito Momota

“Hey, don’t worry, (Name)! Your bunny is safe and sound in your room, and I’ll be right here to protect you!”
The thought did help you, so you just continued with your date
In his lab, he showed you a cool virtual-reality of space
Put on the headset, it’s like you’re in space
It was one of the coolest things you’ve ever seen
Y'all also got some food and ate it in his lab
And then you spent some time cuddling
After that, Kaito went to your dorm to get the Bunny while you headed to the cafeteria
Upon opening the door, he received a good knocking to the face and falling to the floor
After recovering from the shock, he blindly threw a punch at the Bunny and stood up
The punch caught the Bunny off guard, making it turn back into a plush
Kaito grabbed the plush and left
He planned to just give the Bunny back to you without telling you what happened
But the bruise on his face wasn’t fooling anyone
So he had to tell you what happened
You fretted over him, asking if he was ok and offering to patch him up
He insisted he was fine, but you didn’t buy it
The first order of business, however, was handling the Bunny
It confessed that it didn’t like Kaito and saw him as a bad influence
You told it that Kaito was dumb, but he was a sweet guy, and wouldn’t dare hurt a fly
Unless it was Kokichi
The Bunny stood down and you took Kaito to take a closer look at his bruise

Gonta Gokuhara

“Don’t be afraid, (Name)! Gonta will go back and get Bunny for (Name)!”
As much as you appreciate the offer, you refuse, trusting him
He gets blushy, but he’s flattered
Then you guys get dressed and go on a nice date Gonta set up
It was fancy and gentlemanly, in true Gonta fashion
You went back to your rooms to change clothes, and after, you noticed your rabbit wasn’t on the bed
Gonta was worried, and you were worried for a different reason
The first place you checked was Gonta’s lab, where you came across something terrifying
There was the monster rabbit, gripping one of Gonta’s tarantulas in its hand, while the butterflies were fluttering around anxiously
Right before your eyes, the rabbit tightened its grip and squished the arachnid in its hand
The Bunny opened its fingers and let the spider’s squished, dripping corpse fall from its hand, smiling evilly
Then it noticed the two of you standing in the doorway, horrified
Gonta asked the butterflies what happened, while you had a few words with your rabbit
Apparently, the Bunny was trying to destroy all the gross and creepy bugs, knowing you hated them
Starting with the spiders, considering you hated them the most
But it didn’t touch the butterflies, cuz they’re your friends
You and Gonta exchanged explanations and came to an understanding
You asked the Bunny to leave the spiders alone, and Gonta asked the butterflies to not be angry with the rabbit
The Bunny apologized to the butterflies, to you, and to Gonta, and everything was fine
You guys spent the rest of your time chilling with the butterflies while Gonta buried the dead spider

Korekiyo Shinguji

Y'all didn’t even go on the date yet
The Bunny was hellbent on getting revenge for Korekiyo trying to kill you
He was just trying to get ready for your date
After coming out of the shower, there it was
It lunged at him with its claws outstretched, aiming for his throat
It picked him up and pinned him against the wall, with a furious snarl
Its glowing red eyes pierced into his, and he was terrified
Korekiyo could immediately tell why the Bunny was doing this
He had completely forgotten about trying to kill you so many months earlier
And the Bunny had witnessed the whole thing
You guys were just going on a date in less than an hour
There was no way Korekiyo could tell you the truth
He was terrified of losing you, even though he wasn’t like that anymore
So he kicked the Bunny in the stomach and forced it back, changing it back to a plush
After getting dressed, Korekiyo stiffly picked it up and knocked on your door
There you were, dressed up for your date
“Ahem. Hello, (Name). It appears your companion went on a bit of a journey.”
“Where was it?”
“Er… In the hallway.”
“Huh, I must’ve dropped it. Thank you, Korekiyo!”
“N-Not at all.”
Korekiyo took you on a date to a museum
All the while, he was stressing out about what happened, and what would happen if you found out the truth

Ryoma Hoshi

“It’ll be alright, my cat is keeping it company.”
He challenged you to a game of tennis
You, having no athletic ability and no experience in tennis, lost every time
He didn’t brag too much, knowing that he was pretty much destined to win
“Heh. Don’t worry, you’ll get ‘em next time.”
After the game, you guys headed back to the dorms, where you heard hissing and angry snarling from your room
There were your plushies, mutated into monsters, battling each other
You and Ryoma had no idea what to do
They were starting to bite too hard and rip their plush skin, so you had to break them up
You two sat opposite your plushies, repairing any tears they got from the fight
Then they had to explain themselves
Turns out, they didn’t care for each other very much
Your Bunny was way overprotective of you and never had anything nice to say about Ryoma, which didn’t sit well with the Cat
And today, they started arguing, which led to a fight
You and Ryoma exchanged a look
After that, you made the two apologize to each other and shake on it
They would eventually bond over being your personal bodyguards
But for now, you guys settled down and watched a movie with your plushies in your room

K1-B0/Kiibo

“Oh, is this what you call 'anxiety’? Is it because of your rabbit? Would you like me to go back and fetch it?”
He was trying, so you agree
So he strolls back to your dorm to retrieve the plush, which did not go well
The monster rabbit held a screwdriver and literally started to stab at the robot’s body with it
Before pinning him down and preparing to dismantle him with its bare claws
Of course, being much stronger, Kiibo threw the rabbit off him, which turned it back into a plush
But not without escaping with a few, well, battle scars
He picked up the plush and headed back to you
You immediately noticed the holes in his body and a couple of loose nuts and bolts
You brought him to Miu, who, of course, demanded to know what the hell happened
You two looked at each other and just said that he had a fall
After repairing him, you guys decided to just stay in the rest of the night
You had a feeling that your rabbit was behind it, so Kiibo didn’t need to explain much
Not that he could, because he needed to rest

Kaede Akamatsu

“Don’t worry, (Name)! We can have fun without it!”
She took you to her lab and played her favorite songs on the piano to you while you rested on her shoulder
And she took requests from you and played whatever you wanted to hear
After the date, you two left to go grab some food
Kaede went back to get the Bunny, and suddenly found herself against the wall
The Bunny’s hand was wrapped tightly around her throat, while the other one was placed on her chest, preparing to rip it open
After noticing her disappearance, you came back to see what the deal was
Startled, the Bunny dropped Kaede, who hit the floor hard on her butt
You scolded the Bunny for what it did, and it explained why it did it
It understood that what it did was wrong and reluctantly promised to not do it again
Kaede was a little freaked out, but agreed to just go with it
So the three of you went to go grab some lunch, and went back to chilling in the piano lab together

Maki Harukawa

“Ugh, it’s just a stuffed animal. You’ll be fine without it.”
You guys just go to the cafeteria to get some food
At one point, she excused herself to check on her lab, which had been broken into
And there was the monster bunny, standing there, holding one of her weapons
The Bunny didn’t like how she was keeping secrets from you
So it decided to find out for itself
And what it saw made it even more angry
Maki was horrified
There was no way she could tell you the truth about her talent
She rushed forward and tried to wrestle the weapon out of its hand, but to no avail
You noticed she was taking too long and went to investigate
And you saw all you needed to
Weapons, posters, just an overall negative environment
The Bunny rushed over to you and whispered to you what her talent was
You gave Maki a hurt look
She tried to approach you
“(Name)… I can explain.”
You stepped away from her
“Explain what? That you lied to me? I told you the truth about my past, didn’t I? Why couldn’t you tell me the truth about you?”
She wanted to respond, but could only hang her head in shame
You just shook your head before running away
“(Name), wait!”
But you were already gone
The Bunny just turned and glared at her before following you
Maki fell to her knees in utter despair
She was afraid that if she told you, she would lose you
But she lost you because she didn’t tell you
Ironic, isn’t it?
She buried her face into her knees, letting her tears fall

Miu Iruma

“It’s just a fuckin’ stuffed animal, you’ll be fine! Let’s just go!”
She took you to her lab and showed you all her robot equipment and handed you the robo rabbit she made for earlier to make you feel better
Which helped a little bit
At one point, you needed to pee, so you left
While you were out, Miu made some adjustments to the robo rabbit to make it more fun to play with
Until out of nowhere, a hand picked up the robot and hurled it at the wall, smashing it into pieces
“What the fuck?!”
Shocked, Miu looked over to the wall, only to turn back when a hand slammed onto the table
There stood the monster bunny, glaring down at her while digging its claws into the table
Then it grabbed her by the throat and threw her at the wall behind her
The Bunny took one of the chainsaws from the ceiling and turned to Miu
Before it could turn it on, you came back
Startled, the Bunny spun around and accidentally chucked the chaisaw to the nearest wall
The Bunny really likes throwing things, huh-
You tried to approach Miu, but the Bunny held your shoulders and prevented you from passing it
It explained that it hated Miu and that she wasn’t good for you
You defended her and asked it to give her a second chance
It agreed and let you pass by it to help Miu up
“What the fuck was that?!”
You explained everything, and though Miu was in doubt and thought the whole thing to be batshit crazy, she decided to just follow along with it
You sat down in one of the chairs and played with your bunny while Miu fixed up the robo rabbit and the chainsaw

Himiko Yumeno

“Oh, that’s unfortunate. But don’t worry, it’ll only be an hour or two. Let’s just go on our date, okay?”
You two went to her lab where she performed magic tricks for you
Even though she messed up a few times, you smiled and clapped for her anyway
After a little bit, you left to go grab some snacks
While she was putting away her supplies, her magic hat started to shake
And the Bunny’s head poked out
Himiko was confused
“What are you doing there?”
The Bunny didn’t answer
Its head started to change, and its face changed into a twisted expression
It slowly grew bigger and bigger, and it lifted its large feet to step out of the hat, now completely changed
Himiko could only look up in shock as the rabbit towered over her
It lifted its hand to attack, before it heard you coming and halted
When you came back in, Himiko was sitting on her knees, holding the plush in her hands
“Where’d the Bunny come from?”
Himiko debated on whether or not to tell you, before ultimately deciding not to
“Erm… I pulled it out of my hat. Thought it’d make you happy.”
You smiled and took it from her hands, before kneeling down next to her and hugging her while thanking her
She smiled weakly and patted your arm
She had no idea how the rabbit changed forms like that, but she hoped it wouldn’t happen again

Angie Yonaga

“Don’t worry, (Name)! Atua will watch over your bunny, and over us as we go on our date! All will be well!”
She brought you to her lab and painted you
Not that she didn’t have a thousand paintings of you anyway
But she was practicing a new style and wanted to know what you thought
And you loved it
She had a surprise for you, a sculpture she made of you
She asked you to step out for a moment while she went and got it
But then, she heard strange noises from the back room
When she opened the door to check, she saw some… interesting paintings
Some bloody claw-prints, some of you holding your bunny, there were even some of her with her head chopped off
They looked as if they were made by a first grader
But it wasn’t; it was made by someone who didn’t have fingers
Someone who only had soft nubs for hands
Angie felt a presence behind her, and turned to find the Bunny standing in the doorway
It stared at her for a long second, enough time for Angie to sketch what she was seeing on a nearby piece of paper
The Bunny was holding a paintbrush in its hand, the brush dipped in red paint, and pointed it at her
You were starting to wonder what was keeping her, so you went inside
The Bunny heard you and changed back before you could see it
But Angie showed you the sketch, and you had a talk with your bunny
It agreed to leave her alone, as long as she didn’t act up
She finally showed you the sculpture, which you also loved
Then she turned the sketch of the Bunny’s monster form into an actual painting
Even the Bunny had to admit, it was pretty good
You spent the rest of the time chilling and doing art

Kirumi Tojo

“Oh, I’m sorry. Would you like me to go back and get it?”
You thank her, but refuse
You go to the cafeteria and she makes some tea for the both of you
A very chill and relaxing date
She was washing the teacups while you went to the bathroom
After putting the cups away to dry, she heard footsteps approaching
Thinking it was you, she turned and gave you a warm smile, only to be met face to face with the Bunny, holding a butcher knife
For a moment, she was frozen with fear, just watching as the Bunny lifted the knife to her throat
Feeling desperate, she grabbed a nearby kitchen knife and plunged it into the rabbit’s stomach, right in the crack splitting the heart
It fell back and changed back into a small plush
You came back to find Kirumi holding the plush, looking pale with fear
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…”
After calming her down, she explained everything to you, apologizing profusely for harming your rabbit
You told her it was fine, because it didn’t actually harm the rabbit
She stitched it up for you to make it up to you
You made the Bunny apologize, though it was still bitter about being stabbed
You two just sat back down and she made more tea

Tenko Chabashira

“Hey, don’t worry, (Name)! I’ll be here to protect you from any degenerate males!”
Or if you’re male:
“Hey, it’ll be fine! I’ll protect you from anyone who tries to touch you!”
You trusted her, so you didn’t mind
She brought you to her lab, where showed off her aikido skills
Also had you practice on a few dummies, but you weren’t very good-
She didn’t make you feel bad about it though
“Hey, it’s alright! I’ll still be here to protect you! Maybe it’s for the best anyway…”
After that, you two left to take showers and grab some food
Tenko’s room door was open, which had her on high alert
When she entered the room, she heard the door close behind her
The moment she turned around, a punch was thrown at her
Tenko, with her fast reflexes, caught it
“Hey, what the he- Huh?!”
She was surprised to find the Bunny standing there, mutated into a monster
The Bunny yanked its hand out of her grip and threw another punch
This engaged a fight, where Tenko was mainly winning
But eventually, the Bunny managed to take her off guard, and had her below itself
You heard all the noise and came to investigate
The Bunny snapped its head towards you and quickly stepped away
You helped Tenko off the ground before having several words with your Bunny
You two came to understand each other, and the Bunny agreed to never hurt her again
Tenko agreed to hold back on her bias towards men, and everything was fine
Tenko had to admit, the Bunny was pretty good at fighting
So you and the Bunny watched as she practiced her aikido on the practice dummies
Then you finally take your showers and get some food

Tsumugi Shirogane

“Oh no! Want me to go get it for you?”
You thank her, but refuse
She was enough company for you
So you two went to her lab, where she showed you her cosplays and different characters
Which turned into her explaining the plots of several animes to you
After the date, you headed back to your room to get the Bunny
Who wasn’t in its original spot
You left to go look around the school while she checked in her room
She heard the door close behind her, and was met with two glowing red eyes
As we know, she has a bit of an obsession with you
Or she’s just really attached, depending on the setting
But the Bunny didn’t like it
Tsumugi was supposed to meet up with you to look together, but she never came, so you went to the dorms to see what was up
The Bunny had her pinned to the floor with its hands wrapped around her throat
Though it let her go upon seeing you
Despite being freaked out, Tsumugi gave you a sheepish smile
“Heh heh… I found the Bunny!”
You gave the Bunny a scolding and it explained that it was only worried about you
After that, you defend Tsumugi and assure the Bunny that you would be fine, and the Bunny agrees to stand down
Then you go on to resume your date

Leon Kuwata

Time came for his baseball game, and you watched him and cheered him on
But for some odd reason, he missed every ball the pitcher threw
You knew he hated his talent, but he never missed a ball
That’s what she said-
It made you confused and concerned
He ended up losing the game, and you met up with him as quickly as possible
“Leon, what’s the matter? You never miss a ball like that.”
“I was… uh… distracted.”
“By what?”
He knew he couldn’t keep it in, so it all came rushing out
“Your rabbit tried to kill me, I threw a ball at its face, and I lied to you about it. I’m sorry!”
You blinked at him, and he tightly shut his eyes, prepared for the worst
After a couple seconds of you saying nothing, he opened one eye and looked at you
Then you jumped into his arms and buried your face in his chest
He jumped and stiffened
“Woah there! What’s this for?”
You giggled
“You silly goose. You thought I was gonna be mad about that? It’s not your fault, Leo-chan. I’m sorry my bunny attacked you, but it won’t happen again. Okay?”
He chuckled and hugged you back
“Alright. Now, what do ya say we get out of here and grab a bite, huh? It’s on me tonight. Y’know, to make up for lying to you.”
And so, you left the game and went to go get some food
Then you had a talk with your rabbit and it agreed to never attack Leon again

Kiyotaka Ishimaru

After your study date, it was time for the big test
Thanks to his assistance, you got a pretty high score
Once you got your test scores back, you showed it off to him with the energy of a young child
He lightly smiled and congratulated you
But Taka was hesitant to show you his
He actually got less than 100%, which was very unusual for him
You immediately asked what was wrong
He couldn’t lie to you any longer, so all his guilt came rushing out
“I was too distracted! Because… I lied to you. Your stuffed rabbit mutated into a man-sized monster and attempted to murder me, but I didn’t want to worry you, so I didn’t say anything. I’m really truly sorry I’ll make it up to you I swear!”
He bowed down, begging for your forgiveness
You patted him on the head, and he lifted his head and looked at you in confusion
“It’s okay, Kiyo-chan. It wasn’t your fault. I’m sorry for what my bunny did, though. That was really mean. I won’t let it happen again, okay?”
His eyes filled up with tears, and he tightly embraced you
“Thank you for your forgiveness! I swear I will make up for my lack of honesty!”
And he did
By taking you on a nice date

Sayaka Maizono

It was time for Sayaka’s concert, and you cheered her on from the crowd
You noticed how she seemed distracted, and she didn’t put as much emotion and passion into her performance
She even almost tripped while she was dancing and doing her footwork
So naturally, you asked her what was up after it was over
“I’m sorry, I just had a lot on my mind. Do you remember our date last week, when I was practicing for today?”
You nodded
“Uh-huh.”
She looked away with guilt on her face
“Well… Your stuffed bunny changed into some kind of… Monster rabbit and tried to kill me. I didn’t want to tell you, because I didn’t want to worry you, and, well, I also sort of figured you wouldn’t believe me. I’m sorry…”
She looked down sadly, but you rushed towards her and wrapped your arms around her
“It’s okay, Saya-chan. I don’t blame you for it. It was really mean of the bunny to do that, but it won’t happen again. You believe me?”
She stiffened in shock for a moment, then wrapped her arms around you with a smile
“Yeah, of course I do.”
Then you both left to go spend some time together
Sayaka was really glad to finally be able to relax now that the weight was lifted off her shoulders, and you both had a nice time

On your way to the restaurant, your significant other walked beside you, their mind swirling with anxiety.

It wasn't just about the bunny. Sure, that cute, seemingly innocent plush of yours tried to kill them, which was terrifying, but it wasn't what they were thinking about.

It was that they lied to you about it.

When you came back from the beach to find them, it was like nothing had happened. No mess around the cottage, or anything out of order. Even the bunny had returned to normal after the incident.

Nothing appeared to be wrong, so it was easy to convince you that there wasn't.

That, and you really were easy to fool sometimes.

As they watched you play with your bunny with a smile, their stomach ached with unease. They had never lied to you, and they felt horrible about it.

But what if you didn't believe them? What if you worried? What if you took the bunny's side and left them forever?

They weren't sure why the bunny did what it did, but it was surely because there was something wrong with them.

You notice them acting distant and turn to them.

"Hey, are you alright?"

They turn and force a smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

You return the smile and turn back to your bunny, who your partner thought saw glare at them.

They turn back away and breathe in.

They knew they couldn't keep this from you forever.

Sooner or later, they would combust from the overwhelming guilt they were feeling and spill everything.

Or you would catch on and figure out that something happened.

And you knew how to get your way and make them talk.

They were gonna have to confess soon.

Nekomaru Nidai

The whole time at the restaurant, he was quiet and distant
He wasn't loud and passionate as he usually was
He didn't even respond when Akane spoke to him
So naturally, you picked up that something was wrong
When you guys left, you asked him about it
He tried to insist he was fine, but it didn't last
He had to tell you
And he did
He told you everything; the bunny coming to life and attacking him, the threats, and why he didn't tell you
He fell to his hands and knees, saying sorry over and over
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
You had no idea what to do
You never expected your bunny to do something like this, especially to your partner
You walk over to him and lay a hand on Nekomaru's shoulder, making him look up
"It's okay."
He looked at you like you done lost your mind
You explained to him that you always knew that your bunny was sentient, and that it was very protective of you
You apologized on behalf of the bunny, and promised that it wouldn't happen again
You talked to the bunny and it reluctantly agreed to stand down
Nekomaru stood up and smiled at you, thanking you and picking you up and hugging you
After he put you down, he took the bunny from you
Even after what happened, Nekomaru couldn't help but be impressed
The bunny was just so strong!
Nekomaru admired its love and passion towards you, so strong that it would attack him over it
As twisted as it was, he just admired the bunny, even if he was still a little concerned
He shook the bunny up and down while ranting about its strength, before becoming embarrassed and handing it back to you
Apologized for getting carried away
After that, you went back to your cottage to sleep
Your bunny kept a careful eye on you two, making sure he didn't try anything
But the bunny would come around soon enough

Sonia Nevermind

At the restaurant, she sat up straight and stiff, looking down at her lap, looking uneasy
You quickly noticed something was wrong
You checked on her a couple times, and each time, she forced a smile and told you she was fine
You let up, but you were still concerned
Kazuichi kept trying to make conversation with her and trying to get her attention, which only made her uncomfortable
Eventually, she couldn't take it anymore and excused herself
You asked the others to give you two a minute, and followed her
She stood outside, holding her hands together tightly
You ask her to tell you what was wrong, and she finally spilled it
She told you everything, and she started to tear up
And she jumped onto you, hugging you tightly, apologizing profusely
"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner! I'm so sorry!"
You were just so shocked from it all
You had no idea what to do for a moment
But after you recovered, you wrapped your arms around Sonia and comforted her while she wept
When she started to calm down, you placed your hands on her shoulders and made her look at you
"I'm not mad, Sonia. It's okay."
She opened her mouth to refute, but you shushed her
You told her that it wasn't her fault, and that your rabbit was just being protective of you
You apologized on the bunny's behalf and swore to never let it happen again
You had a short conversation with your bunny and it agreed
Sonia asked to hold the bunny and you handed it to her
She held it like an actual rabbit, and promised it that she would treat you well, and never do anything to harm you
She asked for a truce, and the bunny hesitated before nodding its head with a grumpy expression
But it immediately brightened up when Sonia started to pet the ears
You watched them both with a smile
After returning to your cottage, the bunny rested on the satin pillow Sonia laid out for it, watching the two of you
Maybe giving Sonia a chance wouldn't be so bad after all

Peko Pekoyama

While you were at the restaurant, she stared at her lap, holding her sword
The whole time, she thought of nothing but you and your bunny
How in the hell did a small plush grow into a damn monster??
And what was she going to do about it?
She thinks she probably did the right thing by not telling you, but she felt bad about lying
And she feared for your safety, but she couldn't hurt your special item
You noticed her gripping her sword and asked her to meet you outside
You confronted her and asked her to talk to you
You confess that you saw her other sword, the one the rabbit threatened her with, was unsheathed
Peko's blood turned to ice, and all color drained from her face
So you knew something was wrong all along
Now she had to tell you
So she took a breath in and explained everything
And you listened, growing more and more concerned
And she apologized for not saying anything
"I'm sorry, young master. I should have told you sooner."
You take her hand and hold it
"Don't be sorry, Peko. It's okay."
She slightly smiles before continuing
Peko expressed her worries for your safety, due to your bunny attacking her
You admit that you knew all along, and now it's your turn to explain
You explain that it's been protective of you since you were a child, and that it had a tendency to get violent
You told her that it would never happen again, and that you were sorry
It was a lot, but she understood
She was protective of you too, after all
So she offered a handshake, and the bunny took it, begrudgingly agreeing to give her a chance
So the three of you headed back to your cottage for bedtimes, and the bunny kept watch the whole time

It had been a week since the incident.

Since your partner hadn’t told you anything, you had no knowledge of what happened.

So you were hanging out in their room with them, blissfully ignorant.

You sat on the floor, playing with your bunny with the happiest grin on your face.

Your partner watched you with a distressed expression.

It would have been adorable if it weren’t for how evil the stuffed rabbit was.

What was even worse is that you seemed to have no idea.

They turned away and looked down at their lap, holding their hands together anxiously.

They knew they couldn’t keep the truth away from you for much longer.

You turned to them and tilted your head innocently.

“Hey, are you okay?”

They glanced up at you and took a deep breath in.

“No.”

You blinked at them.

“What’s the matter?”

Korekiyo Shinguji

For him, the idea of telling you the truth was horrifying
Because your bunny was actually right to attack him
After all, he had tried to kill you
And for what? For his dead sister who was just terrible to him?
If he told you, surely you would run away
But he was in too deep, and he had no choice but to tell you the truth
“Your stuffed rabbit tried to kill me.”
Your eyes widened
“What?”
“Yes, but that’s not all. I… Tried to kill you first.”
Fear dawned on your face, and you brought your hand to your mouth
“You… What?”
He was quick to reassure you
“I-It was a long time ago! I know it’s no excuse, but… I did it for my sister. She… Passed away quite some time ago, and I started murdering sweet and innocent girls so she would have friends in the afterlife. I was completely wrapped around her finger, and it was pathetic. So when I met you, I planned to do the same thing. But before I could, I realized just how much you meant to me. I couldn’t bear to hurt you. So I stopped.”
You listened to what he was saying, your fear dissipating
You knew you should have been horrified, but something in you felt bad for him
He continued
“And your rabbit witnessed the event, and tried to attack me. But it was well deserved. I am really, truly sorry. It was horrible of me, even if I did not move forward with it. I understand if you want to leave me, after knowing all of this. But please know that I will never, ever attempt to harm you again.”
You eyed him for a moment before jumping into his arms
“I forgive you, Kiyo-chan. I still love you, you know.”
He stiffened, his hands hovering over your back
“Y-You do? Even after knowing what I’ve done?”
You nodded against his shoulder, and he slightly smiled and wrapped his arms around you tightly
He whispered apologies into your ear, holding you close to his chest
He swore to make it up to you, and that his sister meant nothing to him anymore
And so, you continued your little date, this time with less anxiety in the air

Himiko Yumeno

She looked away and started playing with her fingers with a guilty expression
“Well… I kind of lied to you.”
You looked at her, confused
“Huh? When?”
“Last week, when we were on that date. I told you I summoned your rabbit from my hat, but it actually got in there itself. I’m not sure how, but it changed into a giant monster rabbit and tried to kill me. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t wanna ruin your cheerful, happy mood. I’m sorry.”
You blinked at her before pulling her into your arms
“Nyeh?!”
“It’s okay, Miko-chan. I forgive you.”
“Nyeh, you do? Even though I lied?”
You nodded
“Uh huh. I’m sorry my bunny attacked you, but I promise it won’t happen again. Okay?”
She lightly smiled and patted your back
“Okay.”

It had been a week since the incident.

You went back to your day-to-day life like nothing happened, and here you were, back at school.

You walked through the Hope’s Peak hallway alone, with your bunny plush clutched tightly in your arms.

Normally you held your head up high, showing off that adorable smile of yours.

But today, something was really getting you down.

Maybe it was the distress of your bunny attacking your partner?

Or how they reacted to it?

Perhaps that particularly upsetting phone call you had gotten a couple days ago?

Or maybe it was all three of those things. Either way, you were so distracted, you could barely focus on what was ahead of you.

So it was a perfect invitation for you to suddenly trip on something and fall hard onto the floor.

You sat up in a daze and looked up to find your longtime rival standing over you.

It was none other than the Ultimate Bully themselves.

They gave you a smirk, that same smirk that showed that they were in power.

“Well, well. Long time no see, Ultimate Crybaby. I know you’re still trying to figure out the world around you, but anyone could’ve seen my leg from a mile away. What’s the matter, mommy didn’t give you your bottle early enough?”

You tried so hard not to cry, but that remark about your mom made your vision blurry with tears.

The sight of it made the bully’s expression change to irritation.

“Ugh, can’t you go a single second without bawling your damn eyes out? Honestly, how pathetic can you be? But don’t worry, I’ll help you grow up.”

They picked up your plush rabbit, which had landed near their feet after you fell.

You stood up and ran to them, attempting to get the bunny back, but they kicked you in the stomach, forcing you back on the ground.

As you recoiled from the pain, the bully ripped the bunny’s arm, and the stuffing poked out from the stitching.

Just then, your partner arrived on the scene.

Makoto Naegi

“H-Hey! Stop it! They didn’t do anything to you!”
He knows he probably doesn’t stand a chance against the bully, so he helps you up and asks for the bunny back
The bully just throws it at his chest before walking away with a grumble
Then he starts fretting over you and making sure you’re okay
He gives you a big ol hug before bringing you to his dorm
He’ll watch you as you repair your rabbit, feeling bad that he couldn’t do more to protect you
But he’s glad you’re alright now
You’ll spend the rest of the day cuddling, and if you want, he’ll rub your stomach to help with the pain

Byakuya Togami

“And just who gave you the right to put your filthy hands on my significant other? I suggest you get out of my sight immediately before your chances of a bright future become even more slim than they already are.”
The bully runs away and Byakuya carefully picks the bunny up off the floor
Then he walks over and kneels down in front of you before handing the bunny back to you
You take it and look away, unsure of what to say to him
He can see that you’re still upset from the other day, so he’ll ask you to follow him to his dorm so you can talk there
You begrudgingly agree and you go to his dorm together
You sit on his bed in awkward silence while he finds the words to say
He wasn’t used to apologizing when he hurt people’s feelings, but you were different
So he clears his throat before speaking
"(Name), I would like to apologize for my earlier actions. I realize that your rabbit was only trying to protect you, and it was wrong of me to get angry. So... I'm sorry."
That caused you to look up from your lap and over to him
He paused before continuing
“And I’m sorry for calling you childish, as well. I know that rabbit was a gift to you, and it is an incredibly important possession of yours. I shouldn’t have made fun of it, and-“
He stopped himself when he turned and saw tears in your eyes once again
“Oh, um… I didn’t mean to upset you, I-“
Then it hit him
That phone call from the other day
It must’ve been about your grandmother
Now he felt even worse for yelling at you before
“Come here.”
He didn’t need to tell you twice
You scooted close to him and he wrapped his arms around you
You stayed like that until he suggested you get something to eat
He’ll come to the funeral with you and comfort you when you’re feeling down
He also patched up the bunny plush for you, to aid his apology to you
He’s never gonna judge your cutesy style ever again after that

Chihiro Fujisaki

“P-Please… Stop it… They don’t deserve that…”
It takes everything in him to stop himself from crying on the spot
Seeing you in that position reminded him of when he used to get bullied
He knew about your situation with the bully, and he wanted to get stronger so he could protect you
But now that he was face to face with your tormentor, he was frozen with fear
He politely asked for the bunny back and the bully laughed and taunted him with it
This was getting nowhere, so as a split-second decision, he swung his fist and punched the bully in the mouth
The bully stumbled back in surprise, then finally gave up and gave the bunny back
Chihiro hated to be so violent, but something in him felt proud
He rushed to you and hugged you, asking if you were okay and apologizing for shocking you
But you responded by telling him how proud you were of him, causing him to blush and smile
So you returned to his dorm and he cuddled up to you while you stitched up your rabbit
You noticed he seemed down, and asked what was wrong
He explained that he wished he was stronger, so he could protect you from the bullying
He didn’t have someone in his corner back then, but he wanted to be that person for you
You told him that he didn’t have to force himself to do anything, and that you were proud of what he did accomplish
He smiled and snuggled into you
He still wanted to be stronger for you, but that could wait for another time
But right now, all he cared about was you

Leon Kuwata

“Hey! Get the fuck away from them, you piece of shit bastard!”
If the bully doesn’t get out of there, he’s gonna throw a punch or two
Then he’ll help you up and take you to his dorm
He sits next to you while you stitch up your bunny, silently fuming
You’ll notice this and asks him what’s wrong
He grumbles that the bully is a piece of shit and how he wishes he could make them stay away from you forever
You lean against him and tell him that you’re grateful for what he did for you today

Then he’ll help you up and take you to his dorm
He sits in distress while you repair the rabbit, feeling bad that he couldn’t do anything more
He would never do anything violent, but perhaps that really was the only way to get it through to people like that
Homeboy’s been spending too much time with Mondo
You snuggle up to him and tell him it’s okay, that he did enough to protect you from the bully
He didn’t really believe it, but he suppose he can let it go for now
What’s more important is making you feel better
And it doesn't matter if the bully left you alone this time
Taka’s still gonna report them to the principal
And that fucker’s gonna get expelled

Mondo Owada

“Hey. Leave them the fuck alone before I knock your teeth down your fucking throat.”
Ain’t nobody wanna mess with a biker gang leader, especially when he spoke with an unusually calm tone
Somehow that was scarier than yelling, and the bully GTFO’d immediately
Mondo picked up the bunny and handed it to you
You took it and held it close to your chest, cowering away from him
Seeing you afraid of him felt like a knife to the heart
“Hey, uh... I’m really sorry about the other day. That bunny of yours scared the shit outta me, but I didn’t have the right to yell at you like that. I guess the little guy was right to hate me.’
You look up at him and take his hand in yours
“No, it wasn’t. I’m sorry it attacked you. I swear, I didn’t know it was gonna do that.”
He nodded
“I know. Again, I’m really sorry for yellin’ at you.”
You leaned close to him and wrapped your arms around his waist
“It’s okay.”
He stiffened up, but hugged you back
Then he helped you to your feet and brought you to his dorm
You sat next to him on the bed and patched up your rabbit
Mondo looked at you and noticed you still seemed down
“Hey, is somethin’ else bothering you?”
You fixed the rabbit and held it close to your chest
“The other day, after I left, I got a phone call.”
He kept his gaze fixed on you, patiently waiting for you to continue
“Yeah? What was it about?”
Your eyes glistened with tears, and they slowly began to fall
“M-My grandma... She...”
Mondo understood what you meant without needing you to explain
He felt even worse for how he acted before
If he hadn’t been such an asshole, he would’ve been there to support you
But at least he could now
He wrapped his arms around you and gently pulled you into his lap
He’s not used to being so soft with someone, but he’ll give you whatever you need

Yasuhiro Hagakure

“Hey, don’t be mean! What did they do to you?!
He’s trying so hard not to freak out, and it shows
He politely asked for the bunny back, with a quiver in his voice
The bully proved to be difficult to work with, so he quickly grabs the bunny, helps you up and you run to his dorm together
Once you made it to his dorm, he locked the door behind him, relieved that it’s over
He felt really stupid for losing his cool, but now his focus is all on you
You lay on his bed and he holds you close to him in an effort to make you feel better
He’ll rub your stomach and leave little pecks on your head and face
If you want, he’ll also bring out his crystal ball and start rambling about his “predictions” to make you laugh
He watched as you repaired the rabbit, still uncomfortable around it after what happened last time
But it’s important to you, so he was glad you were able to fix it
He wished he had more courage, so he wouldn’t freak out so much in those kinds of situations
But for now, he can at least provide support for you when you need it
He’ll have a talk with Taka about helping get them suspended or something

Hifumi Yamada

“Wh- HEY! How dare you treat my darling (Name) that way?! You are sick, absolutely SICK!!
He’s a little bit afraid, but also furious
Good thing it doesn’t do much to him when the bully tried punching him
He basically absorbed it like it was nothing
And the way he towered over them was horrifying, so they gave up and left
After they left, he started freaking out, asking if you were okay and if they hurt you
He was afraid to touch the bunny after what happened, but he scooped it up and handed it back to you
After that, you headed back to his dorm to hang out
He drew you some wholesome comics to help lift your spirits while you repaired the bunny
If you’re up for it, he’ll gladly cuddle you too
He loves getting opportunities like this, and he’s glad it’s helpful to you as well
He swears he’ll knock the bully’s lights out the next time he sees them

He knows you hate violence, but he can’t stand to see you hurt by anyone

Her icy stare is enough to scare the bully away
Kyoko calmly picked up the rabbit and helped you to your feet before taking you to her dorm
She made or brought you your favorite snacks and drinks and just sat with you on her bed
She offered to fix it up for you while you relaxed, so you handed it to her while you laid down
She handed it back to you good as new
She doesn’t mind cuddling you if you want her to
She’ll hold you close to her and rub your back while you rest on her chest
And she’ll find a movie to watch while you cuddle together
Thanks to her father’s role as the principal, she can pull some strings to make sure the bully never bothers you again
Mark her words, you’re not gonna see them very much after that day

Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jack

“Well, well, what do we have here?”
Your eyes shot open at the familiar voice
Genocide Jill stood in front of you with her signature scissors in both hands
And the bully was on the ground, holding their hand to their cheek with a fearful look in their eyes
Genocide Jill held her hand out
“Hand me the bunny.”
The bully held out the rabbit to her and she swiped it from their hand
Then she approached them, grabbed them by the collar and pulled them close to her
Now that their hand wasn’t in the way, you saw a scratch on their cheek that was lightly bleeding
“Don’t you ever think about messin’ with my baby ever again. Got it?”
The bully nodded frantically, and Genocide Jill dropped them on the ground
“Now stand up and get the hell out!”
They scrambled to their feet and ran away immediately
Then Genocide Jil turned to you with her signature grin and walked up to you and gave you a tight hug
“I missed ya, y’know. Did that bastard do anything else?”
You shook your head
“No. They just kicked me really hard.”
She pulled away and handed you your rabbit
“Here ya go. Sorry for maiming it before.”
You took it from her and smiled up at her
“It’s okay. Thank you, Jill.”
She put her scissors away and held one of her braids up to her nose
“Weeeeell, I’d love to stay and talk, sweet cheeks, but Miss Morose wants to have a word with ya. See ya ‘round, cutie.~”
She tickled her nose with her braid and let out a sneeze
She fell back onto the ground, then a second later, she stood back up with the nervous gray eyes you were familiar with
“H-Huh? Wh-What happened?”
Toko saw you and quickly rushed towards you and knelt down in front of you
“A-Are you okay?! That b-bastard didn’t hurt you, d-did they?”
You shook your head, refusing to meet her eyes
She knew you were still upset about the other day, and she knew what she had to do
She held her hands together nervously before speaking
“L-Look, I’m really s-sorry for wh-what I said the other day. I k-know it wasn’t your f-fault. I w-was just sh-shocked and s-scared, and I b-blamed it all on you. Y-You were right. You sh-shouldn’t trust me. All I ever d-do is cause p-problems for people...”
You turned your head and took her hand in yours
“Toko, no. I’m sorry I said that. You never cause problems for me, I swear.”
She looked at you with wide eyes
“R-Really?”
You nodded and smiled
“Yeah.”
You pulled her into your arms and she didn’t hesitate to snuggle into you and hug you back
You missed this, and she did too
You both went to her dorm to relax together
Toko noticed that you were still feeling down and she worried that you were still upset with her, until you explained that it wasn’t the case
It actually had to do with the phone call from the other day, and Toko felt even worse for yelling at you
Even though she was a little stiff, she took you in her arms and comforted you the best she could
She’s definitely not leaving your side anytime soon

Aoi Asahina

“Hey, stop it! Didn’t your parents teach you to be a better person than this?!”
That seemed to irritate the bully, but Aoi didn’t care
She’s not afraid to throw a punch if she has to
So the bully left in surprisingly low spirits
She picked up the bunny with a shaking hand, and returned it to you
Then she hugged you and made sure you were alright before helping you up
Earlier that morning, she picked up a box of donuts to share with you later
This was as good a time as any, so you went to her dorm and she busted them out
Then you cuddled up and watched some movies together
She also gave you some belly rubs to help ease the pain
Next time someone decides to pick on you, she’s calling Sakura
Any friend of Aoi’s is a friend of hers, so you’d best believe she wouldn’t tolerate any kind of nasty behavior towards you

Sayaka Maizono

“Hey! It’s not okay to treat anyone like that, especially someone who did nothing to deserve it! Don’t let me see you putting your hands on them again, got it?!
Once they left, she quickly retrieved the bunny and rushed over to you
She handed you the bunny and hugged you, fretting over you and asking if you were alright
Then you both headed to her dorm
She gave you some snacks and something warm to drink
Then you cuddled up together and she rubbed your stomach to help it feel better
She also insisted on fixing the bunny’s arm for you, so that you could rest and relax
Even though she tried not to show it, she was really mad
She hates that there are people who prey on other people and make it their mission to make them suffer
Especially when the one suffering was you
While she was deep in thought, you sat up and hugged her from behind
She smiled and laid back down to cuddle with you
Even if she couldn’t do much about all the evil in the world, she could protect you from as much of it as you can

“Darling, I am so incredibly sorry for the way I acted during our last date. I was simply stressed out from the incident regarding your rabbit, and I had no right to attack you like that. I sincerely apologize.”
You lightly smiled, but your sad expression was still intact
“It’s okay, Celeste. It’s not your fault.”
She noticed your expression and grew worried
"I truly am sorry. I didn’t intend to upset you.”
You shook your head
“No, it’s not you.”
Her bright red eyes were flooded with concern
“Then what is it, my dear?”
You didn’t respond, and she carefully helped you to your feet and brought you to her dorm to talk
She made tea and listened quietly while you spoke
You explained that while you were on your date, you had gotten a phone call regarding your grandmother
That explained why you seemed so down the other day
She felt like an idiot for not noticing, and a massive asshole for the way she acted
She wrapped her arms around you and pulled you close, one hand rubbing your back and the other holding your head to her chest
She couldn’t get over how horrible she felt, but you were way more important

“I suggest you leave before I snap you in half.”
One look at her, and they’re gone
Sakura picked up the bunny and helped you to your feet
Then it’s off to her dorm to relax
She insisted on repairing the rabbit for you while you rested
She spent the whole time caring for you, holding you and making you her famous protein coffee
Or a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate, if that’s more your style
Despite how calm and gentle she was with you, she was furious on the inside
How dare that jerk pick on someone as adorable as you?
She tried not to let it show, though
She’s not gonna get violent unless she needs to be
But hopefully her warning was enough to keep the bully away from you forever

Mukuro Ikusaba

“Leave. Now.”
She had one hand on the survival knife she carries around, and that’s more than enough to make the bully leave
She picked up the bunny, helped you up and brought you to her dorm
She watched as you carefully stitched up the rabbit’s paw, feeling furious on the inside
As calm as she seemed, she was carefully planning out the bully’s demise
You saw that it was bothering her, and you assured her that you’re okay, and asked her not to do anything rash
She reluctantly promised, and you leaned against her while thanking her for her help
She lightly smiled and cuddled you close, and she gave you belly rubs to ease the pain from the bully’s kick
Later, she’ll bring you to her house to hang out with her and Junko
You and Junko get along fairly well, so Mukuro hopes it’ll help you feel a little better
Even if you don’t want the bully to get hurt, she will at least scare them away so they never come near you again

“Excuse me, who the fuck do you think you are?! You’d better get the hell out before I shove my shoe down your throat!”
They’re high heels too, so they’d better be scared

Junko picked up the bunny and handed it back to you

"Ugh, what a fucking asshole! How dare they pick on my baby like that?? I swear, if my sister were there, they would’ve been erased from the earth.”
You lightly chuckled at her while you rested on her stomach
“I know. Thanks for protecting me.”
She playfully smirked at you before holding you tighter
After that, she took you to go shopping at any store you want
She knows you don’t like violence, but she’s secretly gonna tell her sister about what happened later
Although, before she can do anything, the bunny’s gonna beat her to it

Chapter Text

You were just strolling around the island, your bunny cuddled to your chest, with a lot on your mind.

You weren't sure how to feel. Your bunny plush, your best friend since you were a young child, had attempted to kill your significant other, the first person to care about you since your grandma, to protect you.

You couldn't really blame anyone. You couldn't blame your bunny, because it was only trying to protect you. But you couldn't blame your significant other, whether it was for them not telling you, or simply trying to defend themselves. Was anyone really at fault here?

Your thoughts quickly came to a stop when you found yourself on the ground. After taking a second to register what just happened, you sat yourself up and looked up.

Standing over you was the Ultimate Bully, the asshole who's been against you since the beginning. Everyone else was at the restaurant, so you were completely alone.

The bully smirked at you as they rested their hands on their hips, with a look in their eyes that seemed to be mocking you.

"Well, well. If it ain't the Ultimate Baby," they sneered.

Your eyes grew warm and wet with unshed tears. It took everything in you to prevent them from falling. You sniffed and stood up, wiping your eyes with your sleeve.

"Why must you hurt me like this?"

The bully scoffed at you.

"You really are pathetic, you know that? Wearing those childish clothes, acting like half your age, not to mention that stupid stuffed animal you carry around."

In a swift second, the bully swiped the bunny from your hands before you could react. The bully held the bunny out in front of them, with the index finger and thumb on their right hand gripping one of the rabbit's paws.

"I think it's time someone taught you how to grow up," they say with a growl to their voice, their formerly mocking smirk now a malicious grin.

You quickly took a step forward, but right as you reach the bully, they rip the bunny's arm, tearing through the sewing thread and exposing the stuffing.

You drop to your knees in pure shock and devastation, no longer bothering to hide the tears. All the while, your bully laughs and laughs at you.

And just in time, your significant other arrives.

Hajime Hinata

"Hey! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
The bully is so surprised by your boyfriend's sudden arrival that they drop the bunny and it falls to the ground
Hajime goes to pick it up, then freezes
After the incident, he couldn't help but wince at the thought of touching the rabbit
But the moment passes quickly, and he remembers how important the bunny is to you, and how important you are to the bunny
His own uneasiness about the rabbit doesn't matter right now
So he picks up the bunny and helps you up
He tells off the bully before taking your hand and leaving
You guys head back to the cottage to patch up the rabbit's arm
Judging by Hajime's reaction to touching the bunny, you decide that maybe what he told you was true after all
Hajime has a lot of questions, but in the end, he understands that the bunny was only trying to protect you
And the bunny realizes that Hajime does care about you
So the bunny decides to make peace
Hajime is wary, but agrees
Now, your bunny and your boyfriend form an alliance, and learn to get along
And after some time, they become pretty good friends

Nagito Komaeda

"That's not very hopeful of you."
Upon arriving on the scene, he just stares
Literally just having a staring contest with the bully while he picks up the bunny and helps you up off the ground
His eyes start swirling with insanity and rage
The bully eventually gets freaked out and leaves
Then he gave you a kiss on the cheek while asking if you were ok
Before turning to the bunny and asking if it was ok
Nagito volunteered to patch the bunny up himself
Then realized he was terrible at sewing and let you do it
Even after the incident, he never held any grudges against the rabbit
So it was pretty easy for them to get along
You're glad, it spares you a lot of exhaustion

Kazuichi Soda

"H-Hey! Leave them alone! Or else!"
Stands between the two of you and tries to intimidate the bully by acting tough and manly
Ends up making himself look like a fool
Settles for just yelling at the bully until they scram
His hands are quivering while he reaches for your bunny
You assure him he did a great job and head back to your cottage
Still a little nervous around the bunny after what happened but he trusts you
The bunny decides he's a pretty good guy so they make peace
Kazuichi is still a little shaky around it sometimes, but after a while, they become bros
Has definitely made a set of mechanical legs for your bunny to roam around
They also have guy's nights together

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

You're still bitter about what he did
You haven't spoken to him since the incident
Sure, he was defending himself, but maybe your bunny was right all along
But after the bully ripped it, Fuyuhiko was there in an instant
Turns out, he had Peko follow you around to make sure you were doing good, because he knew you didn't want him around
Peko has her sword at the bully's neck while Fuyuhiko walks forward and punches the bully in the stomach and retrieves the bunny
"What does a yakuza like you care about some dumb stuffed animal?"
"Shut up, dumbass! If it's important to them, it's important to me."
Fuyuhiko turns his head and glances at you when he says that
Maybe he cared more than you realized
Lands a final punch on their face before ordering them to piss off
Which they do without hesitation
After that, Fuyuhiko walked to you and handed you your bunny
He kneeled down before you and you guys talked things out
He apologized, you apologized, and you reconciled
Peko watched you guys with a smile
You went back home and he helped patch up the bunny
The bunny still didn't like him, but he did help the both of you in the end, so it agreed to make peace
Fuyuhiko makes a little mini tie for it, like his
Maybe he ain't so bad after all

Gundham Tanaka

You are his companion
And the bunny is your companion
No way in hell is Gundham gonna let either of you get hurt
Helps you up off the ground, then hurries over to the bunny and picks it up, cradling it like an actual injured rabbit
Then he handed it back to you, before standing in front of you protectively
"If you dare take a step near my mortal companion ever again, I will instruct my Dark Devas of Destruction and my other demons to cast such a curse that you will rue the day you came into this earth!"
After his dramatic monologue, he takes your hand and brings you to his cottage
Insists on reparing the bunny for you
The bunny regrets its choices real fast
Snuggles up to Gundham as an apology
The Dark Devas are still wary of the bunny, but they become bros pretty quick

Teruteru Hanamura

"My, my, what's goin' on here?"
Walks up to you and wraps his arm around your shoulder or waist cuz he's short and turns to the bully with a smirk
"Is there a problem?"
The bully quickly got uncomfortable and left
Then Teruteru started freaking out, asking if you were ok and what happened
You then pointed at your bunny
Teruteru froze for a second, but then walked over and picked it up
Stayed far away while you repaired your bunny's arm
You explained to him that the bunny had a change of heart and you would make sure it didn't harm him again
The bunny nodded and reached its small plush arms out for a hug
Teruteru was shaky as he walked over and picked up the plush rabbit
But when he hugged it, he felt warm inside~
Likes to sit the bunny on the counter while he cooks, with you sitting at the table watching them
He gets over the whole thing fairly quick

Nekomaru Nidai

"HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
Picked up the bunny and stood in front of you like your personal shield before telling the bully off
"AND IF I CATCH YOU MESSING WITH THEM AGAIN, THERE WILL BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES!"
The bully quickly runs away after probably shitting themselves
Offers to help patch the bunny up, but his hands are too big so you do it yourself
He doesn't have any ill will towards the bunny, even after the incident
So it wasn't hard for them to make up
They bond over their protectiveness of you and their inner strengths
The bunny makes a good workout coach

The Impostor

"Leave them alone. You have no right to treat them that way."
Uses his Byakuya Togami persona to scare them off
Then carefully stitches up the bunny's paw, though his big hands make it difficult
Your bunny still can't quite figure out who he is, which is why it didn't like the Impostor to begin with
But he cared enough to step in and defend you, and the bunny, so he must be a pretty decent guy
So the bunny makes peace with him, and everyone is happy

Izuru Kamakura

His expression darkenes immediately
"If I ever catch you doing this again, you will die regretting it."
The bully departed very quickly, sweating and probably shitting themselves
Izuru helps you up before going to pick up the bunny
Uses his talent of the Ultimate Seamstress to repair the bunny's paw
The bunny realized that it had a pretty silly reason for not liking him
So what if he had every talent?
He had the talents to protect you, and that's all that matters
Izuru is pretty understanding about the whole thing, and doesn't hold any grudges against the bunny
Besides, the bunny didn't even hurt him in the first place
So the bunny apologized, and Izuru, who could decipher the bunny's squeaks, accepted
And they became good friends

Chiaki Nanami

"What you're doing isn't very nice. Can you leave my partner alone, please?"
She walks over and picks up your bunny before helping you up and walking away
She doesn't bother waiting for the bully to leave
She watches you as you stitch up the bunny's arm
Asked you if you were alright and stuff
Then she tries to cheer you up by offering to play Mario Kart with you
Tries to hype you up by getting competitive
"I'll beat you. I know this track like the back of my hand. Try me, Player Two. Hehe.~"
The bunny realizes that she did care about you after all
Crawls into her lap while she's booting up the game
Snuggles against her as an apology
Chiaki is caught off guard, but you explain to her that it was trying to make peace with her
Chiaki smiles a little bit as she pets the rabbit's ear, accepting the apology
The bunny chills on her lap while you play together
It may have distracted her once so you could win

Mikan Tsumuki

"S-Stop it... They d-don't deserve this..."
She has no idea what to do at first
She's terrified to confront the bully, but also terrified for you
She tries politely telling them to leave you alone
If that doesn't work, her anxiety rises
After a moment, she ends up having an outburst, ranting about how you don't deserve to be hurt
"T-They don't deserve this... T-Take me instead! I-If y-you're going to h-hurt anyone, hurt me! J-Just don't hurt them..."
When the bully leaves, she takes a moment to recover
Then she picks up the bunny and rushes to you and hugs you
Starts crying
Takes you to her cottage to tend to any bruises you got, no matter how much you insist your fine
She put a band aid on a scrape you got on your knee and gives it a kiss~
Then she insists on stitching up the bunny for you
After that, she puts a band aid on the bunny's arm and gives it a kiss too
The bunny quickly sees the error of its ways
It leaps at her and latches onto her, hugging her as an apology
Mikan is surprised, and you tell her that the bunny is sorry and wants to make peace
So she smiles and hugs the bunny
The bunny gets down and places a band aid on Mikan's nose
Now the three of you are boo boo buddies!

Akane Owari

"Hey! Piss off, asshole!"
Runs up to them and punches them in the jaw
Nekomaru has to hold her back so she doesn't beat them up too much
The bully immediately runs off with a bloody nose and a slightly dislocated jaw
After calming down, Akane walks to you and helps you up while Nekomaru picks up the bunny and hands it to you
Then you and Akane head back to your cottage while Nekomaru does his own thing
He wants to give you two some time alone
So you stitch up the bunny and it offers Akane a hug as an apology
Akane is stubborn about it, but you ask her to give it a chance
So she begrudgingly agrees and picks up the rabbit for a hug
It'll take a little bit, but she'll come to love the bunny eventually

Hiyoko Saionji

"Hey! What do you think you're doing, asshole?!"
She'll run up to them and give them a punch to the stomach
She'll yell at them for a short moment before telling them to scram
Then she'll retrieve the bunny and go back to your cottage with you
The bunny offers a hug as an apology for its wrongdoing
Hiyoko refuses with a pout on her face
"Hmph! No way! Mr. Bunny was mean to me!"
After some convincing from you, she agrees and hugs the bunny
They become best friends pretty quick

Mahiru Koizumi

"Hey, asshole! Stop that!"
Picks up the bunny and helps you up before telling the bully off and leaving
She actually recorded the whole thing before they tore the bunny
She'll do something with it later
But for now, she's sitting beside you while you repair the bunny, ranting about the bully and wondering why you didn't tell her sooner
The bunny offers her hug as a thank you and an apology
She's hesitant about it, but she does it because you asked her too
It actually feels kinda nice
Maybe they can be friends after all

Ibuki Mioda

"Hey! Not cool, bud!"
Just picks up the bunny and pulls you away
You're not gonna suffer this shit any longer
Gives you a tight hug while freaking out and asking if you're ok a thousand times
Plays a soft song on her guitar while you patch up the bunny
When the bunny offers a hug asking for forgiveness, Ibuki grabs it and hugs it close to her chest
You're forgiven, bunny
She doesn't hold any grudges
She's not even mad about the bunny cutting the string on her guitar
"Don't worry about it, bunny! Ibuki can just replace the string! No biggie!"
The bunny decides she's fun to be around and they become friends

Sonia Nevermind

Upon arriving on the scene, she walked right up to them and pointed her sword at their throat with an intense glare
"If I ever see you near my young master again, I will not hesitate."
So they got the message and run away
They'll never bother you again after that
Then she hands the bunny to you and helps you up
Tries to stitch up the bunny's arm, but she's not very good at it, so you do it
She really wants to kill their ass, but she knows you don't want her to
She doesn't hold anything against the bunny
She understands wanting to protect you, because she does too
The bunny realizes they're more alike than it thought and offers reconciliation
Peko accepts, offering a handshake
But to her surprise, the bunny jumps at her and hugs her
Frozen for a second, but hugs the bunny with a smile
After that, they become besties

Chapter Text

Two days after the incident, you left your room, telling your significant other you needed a moment. With your bunny in your arms, you mindlessly strolled around the school.

The events from the other kept replaying in your mind. Your bunny plush, your childhood best friend, just tried to kill your significant other. The only person who gave you the time of day since your grandmother.

And it did it to protect you. Because it thought they wanted to hurt you.

You had no idea who to blame, and you didn’t think you could. The Bunny, for attacking your significant other to protect you? Or your significant other, for trying to defend themselves, or you by not saying anything?

You didn’t think either of them to blame, and maybe they weren’t.

Your thoughts were quickly cut off when you tripped on something. Something was in your way, and it sent you face first into the ground. Fortunately, you caught yourself with your hands before your face hit the ground.

After sitting up, you saw your worst enemy towering over you. The Ultimate Bully, who had been bothering you since the beginning. Everyone else was in their labs, so you two were alone.

The Bully smirked at you while they leaned against a nearby wall.

“Well, if it ain’t the Ultimate Baby. How’s the milk flow this morning?”

Your eyes felt hot with tears, but you refused to let them fall. You stood up and wiped your eyes to make sure no tears were there.

“What did I ever do to you?” You asked with a broken voice. The Bully’s smug expression changed into a glare.

“You’re pathetic. Your childhood was over years ago, but you still can’t let it go, can you?”

Before you could react, the Bully reached down and picked up the Bunny. After inspecting the Bunny with a disgusted expression, the Bully looked back at you with a sadistic grin. They held out the Bunny in front of them, gripping the Bunny’s arm.

“I’ll show you how to let it go.”

Before your eyes, the Bully ripped the Bunny’s arm. The stuffing was exposed and the thread was torn. You ran up to the bully to get the Bunny back, but the Bully punched you in the stomach.

You fell back onto the ground, clutching your stomach in pain. By this point, you couldn’t even hide the tears anymore, and your bully laughed at you tauntingly.

But before they could do anything else, you heard footsteps approaching.

Shuichi Saihara

“Stop hurting them! They don’t deserve it…”
The Bully drops the Bunny, startled by his sudden appearance
Shuichi was nearly as shy as you were, and he knew that the Bully could get to him too
So he picks up the Bunny and helps you up and leaves
He brings you to his lab to get you away from them
You repair the Bunny while he worries over you and soothes you
The Bunny realized that, even though Shuichi was a little shy, he wouldn’t hesitate to protect you
So the Bunny apologized, and Shuichi forgave it
You scoot closer to him and lean your head against his chest
He blushes a little bit, but smiles and wraps his arm around you
Y'all spent the rest of the morning talking, and Shuichi had a feeling that the Bunny was…vengeful
But he didn’t say anything

Rantaro Amami

“Hey, that’s not cool. Leave them alone.”
His status as the school playboy makes him very popular, which intimidated the Bully, so they leave
Then he calmly retrieves the Bunny before helping you up and bringing you to his lab
There, he helped repair the Bunny and rubbed your stomach a little
The Bunny quickly realized that it was wrong and apologized
Rantaro, being the chill dude he is, accepted the apology and stroked the Bunny’s head
Then he wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you in close
Y'all spent the rest of the morning hanging out in his lab while the Bunny planned revenge

Kokichi Oma

“Hey! Leave them alone!”
On the outside, he appears only mildly angry
But on the inside, he’s plotting how to kill them off
His status as the Ultimate Supreme Leader has them afraid for their life, so they run
Kokichi helps you up and hesitates before scooping up the Bunny
Then he brought you to his lab
While you repaired the Bunny, Kokichi sat next to you, looking down in anger
The Bunny could see the gears turning in his head
They could tell he wanted the Bully dead
Maybe they were more alike than the Bunny thought
Furthermore, Kokichi cared about you enough to want to do this
So it offers to make peace with him and he agrees
I mean come on, a plush that can mutate into a monster is fuckin awesome
He sits in your lap while holding the Bunny
They end up bonding over taking over the world and pulling pranks
And Kokichi is definitely on the Bunny’s side when it gets revenge on the Bully

Kaito Momota

“Hey! Leave ‘em alone before I kick your ass!”
He threatens to punch their lights out if they don’t leave you alone
Not that he actually will
He helps you up then goes to pick up the Bunny
He freezes at first, remembering the events from yesterday
He has the bandage on his face to prove it-
But he pushes away the fear and picks up the Bunny
Then you go to his lab to patch up the Bunny
He tries to do it but he’s not good at it
After it’s repaired, the Bunny offers its paw as an apology
Kaito hesitates, but you convince him that the Bunny was sorry and wouldn’t hurt him again
So he agrees and shakes the Bunny’s paw
You guys hang out in his lab for a couple hours, and Kaito starts bonding with the Bunny
You’re sitting in his lap with the Bunny while he holds you from behind
Very relaxing times
It made up for the insanity from the other day

Gonta Gokuhara

“W-Why so mean to S/O? S/O don’t deserve that…”
Has to stop himself from crying right there on the spot
This is about you, not him
His giant stature scares the Bully, so they gtfo’d right then and there
He takes your hands in his and pulls you up like a true gentleman
Then picks up the Bunny, handling it like an injured rabbit
He brings you to his lab and offers to patch up the Bunny’s arm for you
But his hands are a bit too big-
The butterflies stay far away, still wary of the Bunny after yesterday
After its arm is fixed, Bunny crawls into Gonta’s lap and apologizes again for what it did
And then apologized to the butterflies
Gonta forgives him and happily scoops it into a tight hug while the butterflies flutter around them
Gonta holds you and the Bunny in his lap while you chill with the butterflies
You guys hang out with butterflies for a while and the Bunny promised to not kill any more spiders

Korekiyo Shinguji

“I do not appreciate this behavior. Don’t ever harm them again.”
The Bully gtfos and Korekiyo helps you up before picking up the Bunny
It narrows its eyes at him and he sweats a little bit before handing it to you
You guys already talked it out and you moved past it, but he couldn’t stop feeling guilty
He stitches up the Bunny, while sitting in silence
You ask him what’s wrong and he confesses to still feeling ashamed
The Bunny didn’t hear your previous conversation, so it was astonished
It was still concerned for you, but it could see that you cared about him
So it offers its paw for Korekiyo to shake
He’s caught off guard but accepts, swearing to never harm you
The Bunny’s still gonna keep an eye on him, but it’ll give him a chance
He takes your hand with a smile, and you spend the rest of the morning chilling together

Ryoma Hoshi

“Hey. Piss off.”
His short stature makes him very unthreatening, honestly
But he brings his cat plush, who hisses at the Bully, making them freak out and run
Ryoma helps you up while the Kitty helps the Bunny
That’s the cat’s name from now on
The Kitty tries to stitch up the Bunny, but it’s nub hands don’t do a very good job, so you do it yourself
The Bunny realizes that it actually really likes the Kitty
And Ryoma too I guess
So it apologizes to the Kitty, then Ryoma
They both forgive it and the plushies hug it out and become best friends
You and Ryoma cuddle up together while the plushies cuddle up together

“U-Uhm… What is it doing?”
“It’s hugging you, Kaede.” You say with a chuckle. “It wants to apologize.”
The Bunny nods against her chest after you say that
Kaede is flustered for a moment, but smiles and strokes the Bunny’s ears
All is forgiven now
And you lay your head on her shoulder while she continues playing

Maki Harukawa

“Do you wanna die?”
She marched up to the Bully and pointed a knife at their throat
You were shocked
You hadn’t seen or spoken to her since the other day, and here she was
The Bully runs off after pissing themselves
Maki picks up the rabbit and kneels down in front of you and hands it to you
“I’m sorry. I should have told you the truth.”
You take the Bunny from her and look at her
Her head is turned away in shame
“Why didn’t you?”
“At first, it was just because I’ve never been so close to anyone before. It was hard to open my heart out to people. Then, when we started getting closer, I was afraid of scaring you away. Because you don’t like violence and all that. But I guess I ended up pushing you away anyway, didn’t I?”
You take her hand, making her turn back to you
“I understand, Maki. It’s okay. I guess I should apologize too, huh? For overreacting.”
Maki shakes her head with a smile
“You dummy.”
Then she pulls you in and you hug it out
You’ve missed this
You hated being away from her, even if it was only a day
After you guys separate, you lean in and give her a long-awaited kiss
She stiffens at first, then leans into you while reciprocating the gesture
Clearly, she missed you too
The Bunny watches you in shock
So she really did love you?
Even if she was an assassin?
Well, it was a monster too, and it still loved you
So maybe Maki could, too
When you guys pull apart, the Bunny climbs into Maki’s lap and offers an apology
She’s shocked and kind of annoyed with it after earlier, but she understands and accepts the apology
You guys go back to your room and cuddle together
It’s been way too long, and the both of you were feeling touch starved

“Hey, shithead! Leave them the fuck alone before I pound your ass into next Friday!”

She scoops up the rabbit before helping you up and basically dragging you to her lab
She fixes up the robo rabbit while you stitch up the real one
She’s experienced in tech stuff, not sewing
She’s still pretty bitter about the Bunny breaking it
The Bunny asks you to take it to Miu and you sit it on the table in front of her
“The fuck do you want?”
“Easy there, Miu. It just wants to apologize.”
The Bunny nods in agreement
Miu scoffs
“Well, it’ll take a hell of a lot more than an apology to make up for breaking my supplies and making me shit myself!”
She breathes in and lets you translate the rabbit’s squeaks
After you’re done, she lets out a sigh through her nose
“I guess I get it. It was just trying to protect you. I know I would do the same.”
She looks away and blushes with a small smirk
“But that doesn’t excuse the destruction it caused! Fix up the Robo-Rabbit and my chainsaw, then I’ll forgive you.”
You kiss her on the cheek and thank her
She blushes hard but wraps her arm around your waist anyway
The rest of the morning was spent with Miu teaching the Bunny to use her tools while she sat in a fancy chair with her arm around your waist
She would fix them later, but for now, she just wanted time with you

Himiko Yumeno

“Please leave them alone.”
She’ll just pick up the Bunny and take your hand and walk away
Then she’ll use her magic to fix its paw
You thank her, before noticing her looking down in shame
“What’s wrong?”
She sighs
“Again, sorry for not telling you. I really should have said something instead of lying.”
You frown and take her hand
“Himi, we talked about this. I know why you lied, and it’s okay. It’s no big deal. I’m just glad nobody got hurt.”
You smile and hug her
She lightly smiles and hugs you back
The Bunny watches you for a moment, before squeaking
You quickly pull apart, startled
It’s ears are tipped down in a pout, and it’s adorable
It sits on Himiko’s lap and apologizes, as translated by you
She accepts it and all’s well
She leans her head against your shoulder with the Bunny in her lap, and you chill there until the afternoon

Angie Yonaga

“I’m sorry, but Atua did not permit you to mistreat my significant other. Please move along.”
She picks up the Bunny and leads you to her lab
She paints another picture of you two while you stitch up the rabbit
When you’re done, you distract her by placing the Bunny in her lap, as it wanted to apologize
When you translated it, she smiled brightly and hugged the bunny
She basically forgave it immediately
Then she showed you her work, and you praised it like always and gave her a hug
You sat with her while she continued with her work, this time with a new inspiration

Kirumi Tojo

“Please stop bothering them. They don’t deserve that.”
Helps you up and takes the Bunny before taking you to her lab
She frets over you like a mom, making sure you were okay
Then she makes you a cup of tea before stress-cleaning
You notice this and ask what’s up
She confesses that she still feels bad about stabbing your rabbit
Especially after seeing the stitching down its stomach
“Kirumi, that wasn’t your fault. You were only defending yourself. I’m not mad at you for that.”
“Do you promise?”
“Of course.”
You give her a kiss on the cheek and it makes her smile
The Bunny was still feeling bitter about being stabbed, but it realized that it was its own fault for starting it
Then it supposed it should apologize
The Bunny beckoned you to it with its squeaks, and asked that you bring it to Kirumi
You explained that it wanted to apologize and it offered a hug
She was still feeling a little uneasy after last time, but hey, why not
She accepted the hug and the apology and all was well
You drank tea together and hung out until the afternoon rolled around

Tenko Chabashira

“Hey! Piss off, you degenerate! If I see you near them again, I’ll put my aikido skills to good use!”
If they didn’t run away fast enough, she landed a punch to their gut
Then she picked up the Bunny and gently helped you up
She beat the crap out of a couple practice dummies while you stitched up your rabbit
Then you tried to calm her down
She sighs
“Sorry, (Name). I just hated seeing that degenerate pick on you. But I know, I know. You don’t like violence. I guess I can chill out.”
You give her a hug to help calm her down
The Bunny sees her love for you and decides to apologize
At first, she turns her head away with a scoff
But after you insisted, she begrudgingly shook the rabbit’s hand
Then they practiced some aikido together
The Bunny may or may not use this later on-

Tsumugi Shirogane

“Hey, stop it! They don’t deserve to be hurt!”
She helps you up before picking up the Bunny
Then she brought you to her lab and stitched up the Bunny for you
Given her talent in making cosplays, she was pretty good at it
Then she rubbed your stomach a little bit to help with the pain
The bunny realizes its mistake and bumps Tsumugi's hand with its head
Tsumugi smiles and hugs it, holding no hard feelings whatsoever
After that, spend the rest of the time cuddling together

Chapter Text

The day had ended fine for you and your partner. Your bunny plush made peace with your partner, and they were now on their way to becoming good friends. The bunny's arm was patched up, good as new, and was cuddled between you and your partner as you slept peacefully at midnight.

Your bully had gone on their way, and with your significant other by your side, you were sure they wouldn't bother you again.

But that wasn't enough.

The bunny lay awake, with the day's events playing on repeat in its head. It's arm was fine, ripping the arm wasn't painful at all.

But that asshole had the audacity to get violent with you?

All they ever did was make rude comments toward you, or shove you into a locker once or twice. That was still unacceptable, but it had never gotten to this level.

The bunny couldn't help but wonder why it hadn't acted sooner. It took care of all your other bullies, why not this one?

Oh, it was because of you.

You always hated violence. You never liked to watch someone else get hurt, no matter what they did to you. You had always been pure like that.

The rabbit had never actually killed someone before. Just showed up to their house and gave them a warning to never mess with you again.

But then again, they were just grade school bullies, not a damn near adult.

The bunny decided that something had to be done.

Even if they had learned their lesson, they didn't deserve forgiveness or redemption.

And the bunny would make sure that they wouldn't even get the chance.

As carefully as possible, the bunny wiggled free from your grasp and made its way toward the end of the bed, careful to not disturb you or your partner.

With a final glance over its shoulder to make sure you were still asleep, it slipped under the crack of your bedroom door and out of the building.

It walked down the path of the area until it reached its destination, where the bully lived.

Once again, the bunny slipped under the door and made its way into the bully's room.

There they were, asleep on the bed, with any possible injuries they could have gotten earlier.

With every step it took towards the bed, the rabbit grew bigger. It's small, plush hands grew into claws. It's feet grew into sharp, human-like feet. It's once cute, innocent face had turned monstrous, now possessing sharp teeth and glowing red eyes.

Now the size of a human adult, the bunny towered over the sleeping bully, casting a shadow over them.

The bully began to stir, having a feeling there was something wrong, and they stared into the bright red eyes of the bunny.

Before they could scream, the bunny reached out with one of its clawed hands and gripped the bully by the throat.

The bully had tears in their eyes from the terror they were feeling, as the bunny lifted them from the bed and pressed their body against the floor.

Then the bully noticed the stitching in the arm, the color of the bunny's fur, the bowtie it was wearing. It was your rabbit.

Realization dawned on them, and the bunny's sharp teeth morphed into a sadistic smile.

"No... P-Please..."

The bully begged, tears running down their face. The bunny tightened its grip on their neck.

"You should have left them alone," it spoke with a deep growl.

The bully's eyes widened with horror as they noticed a knife in the rabbit's other hand. The bunny raised the knife over their chest.

"After tonight, you will never cause harm to them ever again."

The bully frantically shook their head, crying and begging. But the bunny refused to heed their calls, as it brought the knife closer and closer to their body.

"Night night, little one."

The bunny's red eyes and their sharp-toothed grin were the last sight the bully ever saw.

Chapter Text

After the incident, you and your bully avoided each other.

Thanks to your partner intervening, they knew not to bother you.

But something in you still felt sad. The two of you had known each other since childhood, and for some reason, they always seemed to hate you. No matter what you did.

Little did you know, that wasn’t the case.

The Ultimate Bully sat across the cafeteria, watching you while you talked and laughed with your significant other. They used to look at you with contempt, taking in how pathetic you were before making fun of you like they always did.

But in that moment, they felt nothing. They came to terms with the fact that you had everything they ever wanted, and they apparently weren’t meant to have anything good.

They stood up from the table and took a walk outside. After picking a spot by the doors of Hope’s Peak, they popped a cigarette in their mouth and lit it. After taking a long drag from it, memories of their childhood come rushing back. The feeling of their father’s grip on their wrist, the searing pain of the stove as their arm was pressed down onto it, crying while their mother made them finish a cigarette they had taken from the box she’d left out.

Their unhappy childhood combined with the history your families shared, they ended up lashing out at you whenever they could. They envied you. You had everything they always wanted; a loving caretaker, friends everywhere you went, and the most perfect personality they could think of. Even they were drawn to your charm.

But UB decided hating you would be easier and continued to torment you. The look on your face as you cried was irritating to them. What right did you have to cry when your life was so perfect? You never truly suffered. This only strengthened their resolve, and they allowed their anger to consume them.

Last week, before they tore your bunny plush, they had a short moment to think. It was your most precious item, and they always left it alone when they pestered you, even though they always made fun of it. But in that moment, the anger they felt towards you was too strong, and they allowed it to guide them.

As they took another drag from their cigarette, they wondered what to do with themself. They no longer desired to torment you. They just wanted to fall asleep in an endless void. No one would care if they did. Not even you, surely. But first, they wanted the chance to take control of their life, just once.

That night, they began packing their things into boxes while their parents were asleep. Thankfully, the headmaster of Hope’s Peak kept a dorm reserved for them, in case they did decide to move.

UB would’ve loved to move, but their parents declined the offer for them. But they needed to take advantage of the empty dorm before someone else did. So in only two hours, they packed up their things and brought them to the empty dorm. They got the key from Headmaster Kirigiri, and fell asleep in a different bed.

The next day, they went about their business at school, continuing to avoid you. And that evening, they went home to retrieve their dog from the basement of their house.

But they saw their father standing on the porch, with his arms folded and a sour expression on his face.

“Why weren’t you at home this morning?”

“Oh, so you actually noticed?” Despite their bitter tone, UB’s body was stiff with fear. Everyone was inside of their houses, and the two of them were completely alone. Their father could do anything to them, and no one would know.

“You moved into the dorms, didn’t you?” He spoke again.

“Maybe I did. What about it?” UB hated how shaky their voice sounded. Their father narrowed his eyes.

“I do believe that we decided that you would remain with us. Did you forget?”

The look in his eyes scared them. But they stood their ground.

“I’m sixteen. What I do is none of your concern. It’s not like you care where I go or what happens to me, anyway.”

Their father silently came down the stairs of the porch and stopped when they were right in front of them. The way he towered over them was even more intimidating. He raised his hands and UB flinched, preparing for the impact. But he placed them softly on their shoulders.

“Come on, now. Wouldn’t you rather stay here, where you could do anything you wanted? I could take you wherever you want to go, buy you anything you want. I know it’s been hard since your brother passed away, but we can change things. The three of us, we could be a real family.”

That last line made them shiver. He had used it to manipulate them before, when they were once offered to stay with you and your grandma. Back then, twelve year old UB jumped at the chance, hoping for a brighter future. What a fool they were. Their parents had no intentions of changing, and they knew it. Even though the temptation to accept his “offer” was there, they threw his hands off their shoulders and stepped away.

“Don’t pretend that you actually give a damn about me. Neither of you are gonna change, and we both know that. You loved Taro. He was your precious little golden child. Well, he’s gone now, and you don’t get to keep me around anymore.”

The expression on their father’s face turned to anger, and he reached out and grabbed their wrist.

“You ungrateful brat. We’ve kept you under our roof for years, and you have the nerve to rebel? You are not going to those dorms, and you are staying with us! Whether you like it or-”

UB clenched their fist and jerked their arm out of their father’s grip.

“No! You don’t get a say in what I do! The only reason you want to keep me around is to use me as your punching bag whenever you feel like it! Well, I’m not letting you do that anymore. And if you don’t get your ass back inside, people are gonna wonder what the hell’s going on, and I’m gonna tell them exactly what you’ve done to me for the past five years! I’ve got the evidence everywhere on my body! Now get out of my face, and never talk to me again!”

Their father clenched their fist in anger, and drew it back to prepare a punch. UB stiffened up and kept their gaze on him. Their father stopped before he released the blow, and with a low grumble, he turned back and stormed back inside the house. UB went to the door of the basement and let out their husky, then walked back up the road. Once they did, you emerged from behind a nearby tree, causing them to jump.

“Shit-! Uh… How much of that did you see?”

“Basically all of it.” You answered. UB looked away and rubbed the back of their neck awkwardly.

“Welp. Guess there’s no point in hiding it anymore.” You joined them and you started walking back to Hope’s Peak together. You turned to UB, who stared ahead with a focused expression.

“So… How long has that been going on?” You asked. They kept their gaze forward as they answered.

“About five years. They’ve hated my guts since I was born, but they didn’t put their hands on me until my brother died five years ago.”

You nodded in understanding, feeling your heart ache for them. “Is that why you hate me so much?”

“Believe it or not, I never hated you. I was just jealous of you. You have everything a person could ask for, and the universe just likes to keep kicking me down every day. I guess I just don’t deserve to have good things.”

You reached out and took their hand in yours. “That’s not true. You’re a person, just like the rest of us. I’m sorry for what your parents did to you, and for what happened to your brother. But you don’t have to worry about them hurting you anymore. I’ll gladly be your friend, if you need one.”

UB looked at you in surprise, then looked away with regret.

“Why are you still being nice to me? I’ve tormented you for years, with no reason whatsoever, and just last week, I ripped something that’s so precious to you.”

“Well… I always had a feeling that the way you acted came from a place of pain, and now I see that I was right. My grandma always told me that even if people try to knock me down, I should keep being positive. The world keeps spinning anyway, and if I keep trying, I could help make the world better. I live my life by that statement, so I don’t like to give up on people. Even if they’re mean.”

UB looked at you in awe and lightly chuckled.

“It’s kinda funny. Our families have been at each other’s throats for years.”

You reached out your hand for them to shake.

“Sometimes breaking tradition is the best thing to do.”

They stared at your hand for a second before taking it into their own and shaking it. Afterwards, you tugged on their hand and pulled them close to you and hugged them. They stiffened in shock for a second before hugging you back. Once you pulled away, the husky jumped on you with its tail wagging, and the two of you shared a laugh as you scratched its head. Then you resumed your walk to Hope’s Peak Academy, laughing and talking together all the while.

Chapter Text

Ten years since you left Hope’s Peak and started your own life.

You bought a nice house with your significant other, and now you two are standing together on the balcony, watching the sunset.

If you had a child together, you passed your lifelong companion, Mr. Bunny, down to them. It was his request, and he loved the child with all of his heart and soul. Just like he loved you. He was like their third parent.

But the bond you two shared was as strong as ever. Even though he had someone else to love, he still loved you just as much. Sometimes, when you have alone time, he would come to you and hold you in his arms, just like when you were young.

Even right when they were born, the bond between them was instant. You handed the child to Mr. Bunny and he treated them with such gentleness and care. He expected them to cry or cower in fear, but instead, they curled into his chest and fell asleep. It reminded him of when he held you for the first time. It brought tears to his eyes.

They were practically inseparable after that. Every moment he had, he spent with the child. He was stuck to them like glue, and he refused to let them go. You even had to pry them away from him at times, and he got grumpy and pouted at you. He made himself the family’s bodyguard, and any danger that came to you all was removed in an instant.

But now, in the present, you watch the sunset in a beautiful house you always dreamed of owning, thinking about the events that led to this moment.

Your significant other smiles at you and places a hand on your shoulder. “What are you thinking about?”

You smiled fondly and stared straight ahead at the sunset.

“Just remembering our memories together, that’s all.”

Makoto Naegi

He smiles and places a hand on yours.

“We had a lot of great times together, didn’t we?”

He got a simple 9-5 job in the city
But thanks to his luck, he ended up winning the lottery, and he got a shit ton of money
Wowee, his luck finally ended up working in his favor

Byakuya Togami

He lightly chuckles in response.

“I see. Funny that we didn’t start on the best of terms, yet here we are now.”

As the head of the Togami Corporation, he’s stupid rich
Way more than he was in high school
He has more than enough to support you and the family
He’s actually not opposed to having children; he just doesn’t want them raised the same way he was

The second he left Hope’s Peak, he wasted no time in pursuing his career as a musician
He hated baseball, and he finally left it behind for good
He was actually really talented, and he became very successful
He’s not a big fan of kids, but he might have one, just one, if it’s with you
He’d love to introduce them to the wonders of music, and teach them to play an instrument
He grins and slings an arm around your shoulder and pulls you close

Kiyotaka Ishimaru

He nods with a wide smile.

“That’s very nice of you. I love thinking back on our memories as well.”

After graduating, he got a job as a teacher
He wanted to teach kids about the importance of hard work so that they would do great things in the future
He didn’t want them to live in shame, like his family did
He would love to have a child with you

He will be strict on occasion, and he doesn’t want them to be lazy
But he only has the best of intentions for them, and having you there to reign him in is better for both him and the child

Mondo Owada

He hums and lightly chuckles.

“Yeah, same. Remember that time your rabbit tried to kick my ass?”

After graduating, he got a job as a carpenter
He helped a lot of buddies from school with their ideas and brought them to life
He’s still a menacing bike leader to a lot of people, and he’s still not letting his brother’s work go to waste
But at least he has an actual job that he enjoys
He’s not big on having kids, but he’s not opposed to it
He’d teach them the promise his brother taught him, and make sure they don’t make the same mistakes he did
He slings an arm around your shoulder and pulls you close to him as you watch the sunset

Yasuhiro Hagakure

He smiles and chuckles at you.

“Yeah? Same here. It’s kinda fun to think about.”

After graduating, he still did fortune telling on the side, but stopped relying on it so much
He found a job he doesn’t mind, and he’s finally not being stupid with his money
He wouldn’t bring up the idea of having a child, but he’s down if you’re down
He’d be a pretty chill, but loving parent
He gets them a bunch of stuff he thinks they’d like, and you once again have to remind him to control his spending
As you sit together, he slings an arm around your shoulder and pulls you close

Hifumi Yamada

“Awww, that’s so kind! That’s exactly what I’m doing as well.”

He continued his job as a manga artist
It was something he loved, and something he was good at
Most of his new works are about you, or some inspiration of you
He would LOVE to have a child
One is enough, but two would be great
He spoils the fuck outta this child and draws them a bunch of pictures showing how much he loves them
Sometimes you have to calm him down, but his devotion is really sweet
As you sit together, he wraps his arms around you and cuddles close

Kyoko Kirigiri

She lightly smiles and takes your hand in her now ungloved one.

“Me too. They’re precious, wouldn’t you agree?

She continued her job as a detective, and often spends a lot of time away from you
It kills the both of you, but it’s part of her job
She wouldn’t bring up the idea of having a child, but she does like the idea of having one
She worries that she wouldn’t be a good parent, especially thanks to her experience with her father and grandfather
She never wants her child to suppress her emotions like her grandfather taught her to do
She’s very loving towards them, and often has them sleeping on her lap when she’s working on a detective case
She gives your hand a squeeze and smiles at you once more before turning away

Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jill

She turns to you with a smile, then Genocide Jill takes over.

“Yeah, me too…”

“Aww, are you thinking ‘bout little ol me? You’re so sweet, darlin’,”

She continued writing and publishing books, and she grew more and more successful
Meanwhile, Genocide Jill slowly stopped killing and sort of just came to hang out sometimes
But Toko has become more comfortable with letting her out, so that’s good
Toko would love to have a child; two ideally, but one is fine
Genocide Jill isn’t big on the idea, but as soon as she sees the child for herself, she changes her mind real fast
Toko is a really loving and gentle parent who loves to spoil the child
Genocide Jill is similar, although much more energetic

Aoi Asahina

She giggles and turns to you.

She still continued gambling for a little while, but quit once she had enough earnings
Then she found a humbler, more honest job to indulge in
She’s hesitant about having children, since she’s not a fan of them and isn’t really sure how to be around them
But she would consider it if you wanted one
She actually proves herself to be a pretty good mom
She spoils them to death and makes pretty good tea for them
She smiles at you and pulls you close while leaning against you

Sakura Ogami

She hums thoughtfully and lets out a slight chuckle.

“So am I. I remember them fondly.”

She continued working in her family’s dojo, and started training people from all over the world to become stronger
Thanks to your encouragement, she finally defeated Kenshiro and claimed her spot as the strongest person in the world
She would love to have a child with you
She would love that child with all of her heart, and she wouldn’t even involve them in her work
At least, not until they’re old enough, and only if they’re interested
She smiles and pulls you close to her while holding your hand with her free one

She lightly smiles and nods.

She continued working on the battlefield for a while
She spent a lot of time away from you and boy, did it hurt
But as soon as she got enough money, she quit immediately
She found a different job that didn’t break her heart so much
She’s hesitant to have a child, simply because she’s not sure if she’ll be a good parent
But if you do have one, she will give them all the love and care they could ever ask for
She would want to treat them self-defense, but she also doesn’t want them getting hurt
When they’re old enough, it’ll happen

She lightly chuckles and nods.

“Yeah, I can’t blame you. Who would’ve thought that we’d end up here?”

She continued with her job as a fashion model, and she kept raking it in
She came out with her own line of clothes, makeup, shoes, etc.
And she’d occasionally drag you into her modelling gigs, which earned you some worldwide recognition too
She doesn’t love the idea of having kids, but she might consider having one with you
She’d definitely spoil the shit out of them, and shower them with so much affection
She giggles and rests her head on your shoulder
As you enjoy your moment, Mr. Bunny comes out with any children you have, and they run up and sit with you and your partner.

The two of you share a laugh, and Mr. Bunny comes up behind the bench and rests his hands on both your shoulders as you all watch the sunset together, as the perfect family you’ve formed together.

Ten years later.

At this moment, you're standing on the balcony of your nice house beside your significant other, who you married five years earlier and had a child with. Maybe another.

At your plush bunny's request, you passed it down to your child. You gave it to them on the night of their birth, and the two of them have been attached to each other ever since.

You couldn't help but tear up at the sight. It reminded you of when your grandma gave you the bunny when you were a small child.

You've been attached to it ever since, and it was just as attached to you.

But now, it was time to let it go.

Of course, that didn't mean the Bunny ever stopped caring for you. Sometimes, while you sat down, it would sit beside you in its larger form with its arm wrapped around you.

Speaking of, it liked to transform into a large rabbit to play with your children.

It held the baby when they were born, being as careful as possible, to not accidentally injure them. When the baby made eye contact with the Bunny, it instantly knew that it wanted to protect this child with its life, just like it did for you. It basically became their third parent.

It had the ability to shapeshift, so it could make itself less scary and just a large rabbit. It only made itself look like a monster when it was angry.

It basically acted as the family's bodyguard.

And it was the perfect bodyguard, too. It was very hard to damage, it had the ability to change forms, and after spending so many years with your significant other, it learned how to use their talent.

It was basically untouchable.

Back to the present, you were now living with your significant other in a cozy cottage far away from civilization. You always dreamed of living in a cottage, with a sandy area out front, in the forest, with a pond and animals nearby. You always loved the aesthetic of it.

Noticing that you're lost in thought, your spouse gets your attention by placing your hand on your back.

"Hey, you alright?"

You nod before turning and staring at the sunset with a pensive expression.

"Just thinking about how we got here, is all. Kind of strange to think about, don't you think?"

They mirror you and watch the sunset as well.

Then they breathe in and speak.

Hajime Hinata

"It is funny to think about. At first, I had no idea what your talent meant. But now, I'm married to you."

Despite his lack of talent, he found a simple 9-5 job in the city, which was enough to support your family
You only had one child, a son
He had Hajime's eyes, and your hair color
And of course, his glorious ahoge
And they had traits from both of you
Hajime is a family man
He's really great at parenting
Your child loves and looks up to him
The Bunny treats him like a brother
Sometimes, you'll catch it giving him noogies in its larger form while he acts irritated
Hajime isn't much different than he used to be
He did loosen up a little bit, but he does still worry about things

Then he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you in close, and the two of you watched the sunset together

Nagito Komaeda

"Heh, yeah it is a little strange to think about. But it's still hopeful nonetheless."

With his luck, he won a lot of lotteries, which got him all the money he needed to support you
You had a daughter together
She had your eyes, and Nagito's hair
She had Nagito's generally carefree nature, and a bit of your shyness
She was your little angel
Nagito's not as obsessive about hope as he used to be, but he does still believe in it
He doesn't force it onto your daughter, but he does encourage it
He is such a sweet dad and husband
If you thought he worshipped you, oh boy
He treats the child like a deity, similar to you
He's not creepy about it tho
He might struggle with discipline though
The Bunny makes sure he doesn't coddle them too much
He smiles and gives you a kiss on the head before pulling you in close

"Yeah, it is kinda weird, isn't it? But hey, at least we're here now!"

Kazuichi got a job as a mechanic in the city
You had two children, a boy and a girl
They both had your hair and his eyes
The boy inherited your shyness, and the girl inherited his energy
Kazuichi began seeing a therapist for his self esteem trust issues and was learning how to cope with them
He still feels anxious sometimes, but he's glad to have you to help him
The Bunny likes to help him with fixing things around the cottage
They're basically like brothers
While you're sitting together, he pulls you close to him with a goofy smile
"Thanks for sticking with me."

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

"Yeah, it was a lot. But I'm just glad you still wanted me, even though I was a bit of a hardass."

With him being a yakuza, you don't really have to worry about money

He looked more like you, but he aspired to be a yakuza like his father
Fuyuhiko doesn't know shit about being a parent, and he can be distant and standoffish on some occasions, but he does love his son

You'd best believe he taught them to cook when they were old enough to use their hands
They learned how to use the oven at five years old thanks to him

She posted her pictures online, and took pictures of whatever people requested

She loves him to death, but she won't hesitate to scold him if he did something wrong

You had a son, who has your hair and Peko's eyes
When he's old enough, Peko teaches them how to use a sword
The Bunny is there to make sure he doesn't chop his or Peko's arm off
While you're sitting together, Peko smiles and holds your hand

While you and your significant other are having your moment, you hear the door open. You turn and see the Bunny walk onto the balcony, holding your child/children in its arms.

It walks to you and places the children on your laps, one for each. (Unless you only have one, then it sits the child in between you and your significant other.)

They smile up at you and your significant other, before snuggling up to the two of you. The Bunny sits on the other side of you on the bench.

While your significant other is playing with the child/children, you turn to your rabbit. Your best friend and lifelong partner since you were a young child.

You smile at it and it smiles back. It wraps an arm around you and you turn to look at your spouse, joyfully playing with your child/children.

You smile at them before looking ahead at the sunset, along with the rest of your family.

Life had been hard for you during your childhood, but here you are, living in the moment with your family.

And you could never be happier.

Ten years since you graduated Hope’s Peak Academy.

You stand on the balcony of the house you shared with your significant other, who was standing right beside you.

At your beloved plush bunny’s request, you passed him down to your child, if you had one.

He was just as attached to the rabbit as you were when you first received him from your grandmother. It was an endearing sight.

But that didn’t mean the bond you shared with Mr. Bunny ever went away. He continued to give you any kind of support you needed, and sometimes, you had time to spend alone with him. He still loved to hold you like a baby, even though you were fully grown.

If you had any children, you’d best believe the rabbit does the same thing to them too.

When they were born, you handed them to Mr. Bunny to hold them, and he held them so gently, as though they were made of glass. And instead of cowering away from him, they curled into his soft chest, and you saw his black, beady eyes shine with tears.

He basically became their third parent, and sometimes, you had to pry the child away from him because he refused to leave their side. Then you would laugh as he got grumpy and pouted at you.

He was like the family’s bodyguard, and he did his job well. Not only was he very difficult to damage, but his keen senses did a great job at sensing danger, then getting rid of it before you or your family could find out.

Anyway, you watched the sunset with a peaceful expression, on the warm cottage property you always dreamed of living in.

Seeing you lost in thought, your significant other gets your attention by placing their hand on yours.

You snapped to attention and gave them a warm smile and nodded.

“Just thinking about the past, and how we ended up here. It’s kind of weird to think about, but I couldn’t be happier.”

Your significant other nods and mirrors you, watching the sunset as well.

Shuichi Saihara

He smiles and chuckles at you.

“Yeah, kind of. But I’m glad we’re here now.”

After graduation, he received a letter from one of the best detective departments in the city
He spent many nights working, and often struggled to come to bed with you
But he still assured that you meant everything to him
Together, you had one child
They took after your appearance, but was shy, like Shuichi
You find them absolutely adorable
Shuichi smiles and takes your hand in his, as he turns back to the sunset

Rantaro Amami

He chuckles at you and nods.

“It kind of is, huh? But hey, I’m not complaining.”

He still loved to travel, so he found a job where he could take business trips often
So sometimes he would leave for a while, but he sent postcards and gifts he knew you would like
Anything to let you know he was still thinking of you
You have at least two children with him
He loves taking care of people, but if two is enough for you, it’s enough for him
Sometimes he and Mr. Bunny argue over the children’s affections
It’s pretty funny sometimes
Rantaro smiles at you once more before slinging his arm over your shoulder and pulling you close to him

Kokichi Oma

He tilts his head and gives you a look of mock confusion.

“Hmmmm? What do ya mean ‘weird’? Are you calling me weird??”

His face changes to a look of playful sadness before smiling at you.

“Yeah, I guess it is kinda weird. But at least we’re here now, right?”

Thanks to him and his organization, he earned a lot of money
He worked too hard to let it go, even after all these years
But he did promise not to do anything too evil
He’s not a fan of kids, so he doesn’t enjoy the idea of having one of his own
But if you really want a child, he might consider it
He hopes they’ll at least have a fun attitude and won’t be super boring

She nods and gives you a small smile.

After high school, she ditched her job as an assassin and went back to child caregiving
She wanted to leave that part of her life behind and pursue a more wholesome career
Although it was frustrating at first, the kids always liked her, and she started to warm up to them
She's still hesitant to have a child of her own, because she doubts if she can be a good parent
But she would love to have one, to give them the loving home she never got
And she'd do a damn fine job of it
While you sit together, she scoots closer to you and takes your hand while leaning on your shoulder

Miu Iruma

She lets out a chuckle and watches the beautiful sight ahead of you.

She got a job as an engineer
Even started her own robotics company to show off her skill
She's still vulgar, she's still flirtatious, she's still Miu
But she has matured quite a lot
She doesn't really want kids, honestly
But if you do have one, she'd make them a bunch of cute toys for them to play with
As you sit together, she wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you close with a grin

She blinks sleepily and gives you a small smile.

She'd still give magic a shot, even after high school
She wants to prove that her "parlor tricks" are real magic
Mr. Bunny has actually been rather helpful in helping her achieve this, so she showed even greater skills to the world
She even started taking aspiring magicians under her wing and training them as apprentices
She doesn't love the idea of having a child; you and Mr. Bunny are all she needs
But she miiiight consider it if you really want one
She wouldn't mind teaching them magic if they were interested

She hums and smiles brightly.

She even did art classes for anyone interested in learning from her

She'd teach them all about art, and she'll hang up everything they make on the fridge, even if it sucks

She turns and gives you a smile.

She became a Neo Aikido instructor
She taught people all over how to master it
But although her master did help her become strong, she didn't poison her pupils' opinions of men like she did
She didn't want them to become bitter and hateful
She wouldn't mind having a child with you if you wanted to
She'd love them with all her heart and soul, and might teach them the art of Neo Aikido when they're older

Tsumugi Shirogane

She hums thoughtfully before facing you with a warm smile.

Her talent for cosplay expanded into designing actual costumes
People commissioned her for her talent, and she even had her costumes sold in stores
You'd best believe she'd make a billion different outfits for your child
She would love to have one with you
She would shower them with soooo much love
As you sit together, she smiles and takes your hand before leaning against your shoulder
As you two enjoy your moment, Mr. Bunny comes out with your favorite hot drinks and sets them on the table before sitting right between you two.

Any children you have, if any at all, come rushing out to you, causing you and your significant other to let out a laugh. Now all together, Mr. Bunny wraps his arms around you and pulls you both close to him, as your little family shares this loving moment together.

Yo! Dragon here. Not much to say, I just lost motivation for a long while and things have been chaotic. But I'm looking to revive my writer life, so for all the non-Tumblrinas out there, the Persona 5 portion of this series will be making its way here in no time.
