Chapter Text
Park Jimin was lost in thought again as his hands moved on their own accord on the blank canvas in front of him. He didn't know what he was painting but it's not like it mattered anyways. His paintings weren't something he could show to anyone.
He focused on the figure taking shape and swished his brush here and there to give it a defined structure.
The figure's hands were reached out...but to what? He didn't know yet so he kept painting and painting, letting the time run like he had alot of it to spare.
A splash of grey and some muddy brown later, he leaned back to look at it for a minute.
"Not yet", he muttered to himself and added some white to the painting.
He wondered why he was doing this.. painting that is. He never used to paint before at the center even though there was a studio there. So what had changed?
Everything.His mind replied to him.Everything has changed.
Jimin sighed and put his paint brush down. He stood up without looking at the painting. What was the point of it when Jimin knew who would be staring back at him.
Last year was tough but Jimin had managed to get through it and make it to second year. He had avoided all contact with any Alpha and kept his head down in fear of what they would think of him.
Yeah, Jungkook had managed to destroy all his trust and Jimin's confidence altogether.
Jimin didn't know just when exactly he was going to be fine because he didn't think he would be at all.
But he was trying, wasn't he? He had tried so hard last year and he would try hard this year too. He had to move on. He had made some friends just so he wouldn't be lonely. Taehyung and Seokjin always treated him like he was part of their pack but still something was missing and Jimin knew just what. He didn't need to think about it or say it out loud.
Jimin felt missing everywhere he went. He didn't find life exciting as he did back in highschool. His days were a constant black cloud with little ray's of sunshine whenever Taehyung and Seokjin were around. They kept him sane. They made him want to feel happy too but how could he when his heart was still in pieces?
The shock and betrayal feeling of someone you've known for most of your life suddenly deciding that they don't want anything to do with you anymore was still open like a fresh cut and Jimin hated that everytime he closed his eyes he could see Jungkook's raging eyes.l staring back at him. He could feel the hate crawl on his skin like bugs.
He could feel the disgust behind his venomous voice and the way he had flinched when Jimin had reached for his arm that day.
That's why he rarely slept after that day and he only took sleeping pills to knock himself out after another long tiring day.
It was exhausting to say the least but Jimin had to endure it.
It's only three more years then you can get out of here and never see his stupid face again.He had reminded himself everytime he felt like quitting.
His phone buzzed and he saw Taehyung's name pop up on the notification bar reminding him that they were booked for chaperoning the first year's mixture tonight.
He groaned and sent a quick text back that he was on his way home.
Jimin hadn't even want to go in the first place. He hated crowed places and loud noises. He hated the judgemental look alpha's gave him when they passed him and sensed no scent or the snarky remarks and narrowed eyes omegas gave when they saw him approaching.
He really didn't feel like chaperoning the first year tonight. He would rather go spend his time at the park or the book shop,but they were getting paid for it and Taehyung had suggested it so Jimin couldn't say no. He could never say no to Taehyung.
"Heyy! Jimin!", Someone called as Jimin turned into the corridor leading to the main doors of the building.
Jimin turned, saw who it was and blushed furiously as his lips turned into a soft smile.
"Hi Nari", Jimin replied as the alpha approached him with a big smile on her face."What are you doing here? Your faculty is the other way".
Nari laughed and fliped her hair back, the purple strands coming visible for a second before disappearing again. She reached out a careful finger and pulled something out of Jimin's hair." Have you been painting again? Classes haven't even started yet…."
"I know", Jimin laughed, fixing his hair before starting to walk again. Nari following in suit.
"I just wanted to do something and pass the time".
Nari glanced sideways at him then smirked." You can pass the time with me...you know that I'm always available...only for you".
Her tone was teasing and a little bit suggestive but Jimin brushed it away with a laugh and pouted. "Yah don't say it like that Nari!".
Nari was a very intimidating Alpha, one of the best ones,Jimin would argue. She radiated pheromones of authority and power whenever she was inside a room and her sharp eyes made it look like she could see past people's sins. She was also really attractive and one of the popular Alpha females in campus.
One thing Jimin liked about her was that she was straight forward.That's how Jimin knew she had a thing for him but he had told her he wasn't ready for a relationship and she had said she understood him so she never pressured him. She still stayed as friends even though she knew Jimin couldn't return her feelings.
"What are you doing tonight?", Nari asked, snapping Jimin out of his thoughts.
"I'm chaperoning"
"The first years?"
"Yeah".
Nari nodded then smiled devilishly before sprinting up." Then I'll see you there I guess".
Jimin looked at her retreating back in suprise." Yah! Why!?"
"I want to do something and pass the time!", Nari yelled back with a laugh before waving goodbye.
"Aissh this Alpha", Jimin smiled slowly.

"Minie, 12 o'clock", Taehyung whispered from across the table they were sitting on. Jimin looked over his head and back down.
"Where? What?", he asked looking up again.
Taehyung giggled." Not my 12 o'clock, your 12 o'clock".
Jimin laughed and turned around to see the alpha he had met the other night approaching them and turn back quickly.
"Shit!", he muttered, fixing his hair.
"What? You know him!?", Taehyung asked as he studied the obviously young Alpha.
Jimin didn't have time to reply because the boy had finally arrived at their table.
Thank God Nari is not here or they would be having the biggest stare down of this century. Jimin thought with a secret smile.
"Hello...umm Jimin right?", The young Alpha asked, looking at Jimin. "We met the other night at the mixture".
Jimin nodded." I remember...but I don't remember telling you my name".
The alpha laughed and scratched his head.
" You're quite popular. Alot of people know you because of your...erh uniqueness".
"Unique uh?", Jimin laughed, looking up at him,his eyes turning into cresent moons."What's your name little Alpha?".
"I'm not little!", The boy rolled his eyes laughing." I'm Yuri, First year medicine".
Jimin nodded in acknowledgement and gestured over to Taehyung." This is Taehyung...my best friend".
Taehyung winked at the alpha and sent a flying kiss which Yuri pretended to catch and throw to Jimin. They all laughed and Jimin gestured to a seat.
"Would you like to join us? You don't seem to be with anyone".
"I-uh... I shouldn't. Ive got to run to Cresent Lupus. I'm in charge of our guests tonight", he replied." But I would love to get your number….if you will allow it of course".
"You're one of the new members?", Taehyung asked, side-eyeing Jimin.
Yuri nodded." I barely managed to get out today. I don't know how I'll manage tomorrow".
"Typical Alpha behavior, that lot", Taehyung snickered." You should've joined another pack, that one is the worst one".
"I had no choice. I was pledged"
"Shut up Tae! oh my gosh", Jimin laughed, trying to lighten the mood." What were you saying about getting my number?"
Taehyung made a face and then smiled, pinching Jimin who slapped his hands away.
"Oh- can I get it then?", Yuri asked again.
Jimin winked at him." You can get it whenever you want….".

The week ran out quickly and the weekend arrived. Jimin helped Seokjin and Taehyung go to the grocery and pick up some food stock for their house before he left for his part-time job.
Jimin worked at a little dog cafe just across from the campus. The Beta lady that owned the place was kind enough to let him work on Saturdays for extra pay. Jimin didn't mind his job, as long as he was getting paid and allowed to pet the pups and feed them, he was otherwise happy to work there.
Another reason he liked it there was because students from campus rarely came to the cafe, they preferred the one on the other side of the road. The only customers the cafe seemed to have were his friends and some stressed out adult Alphas and omega's that needed a break from their daily lives.
They usually took a second glance or sniffed the air around him if they were new but otherwise left him alone to his work. More older Alphas or Omegas tend to scrunch their nose up in disgust when they realized what he was but did a good job at hidding it if they wanted to stay.
The cafe had a backyard where customers could take the puppies out to play and Jimin was usually the one in charge of keeping the lawns clean,the puppies toys in order and his hands free so he could help when he was needed.
All in all, Jimin enjoyed his job. There was around only four employees and the owner so they managed well enough.
"Ah Jimin", Miss.Wang, the owner, called from the back when she sensed him enter the cafe." Come over here and help me,please".
Jimin hung his jacket and bag on the rack and proceeded all the way to the back.
Miss Wang was unloading boxes of cookies and cakes from her truck. Jimin's mouth watered at the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies as he went over to help bring the boxes inside. Once everything was done Miss Wang shooed him away to get the puppies ready and the lawn cleared.
By the time the cafe opened, Jimin was in his uniform and the other employees had arrived.
Nari called him around the last hour of his shift and let him know they were coming over.
"You have to stop calling me to let me know", Jimin giggled into the phone." Just come over when you want to".
"So I can come over everytime you're working?", Jimin could hear the smirk in her voice.
"Yahh not all the time! Miss Wang might get other ideas!"
"I want her to have other ideas about us….", she chuckled on the other line.
"Stop it", Jimin whined.
"Okay okay, your little omegas are coming too.. I'll see you soon darling"
"See you", Jimin smiled and turned off the phone.
"That Alpha girl again?", Miss Wang asked, popping her head out from the door.
Jimin nodded a blush creeping up his cheek." Why don't you go out with her? She seems to really like you?".
Jimin shook his head, fixing his hair." I love someone else".
"And do they know?"
"No……"
"Then why waste your time on a love that cannot be given back?"
"I don't know", Jimin shrugged." Can we stop talking about this?".
"Sure honey... just remember, I'm always here if you need someone to talk about it okay?", She said.
"Okay", Jimin replied.
I can't stop even if I wanted to. It's been a year and everything still reminds me of him.

Jimin was a bit fidgety as he waited in front of the Theater Arts Faculty building. He didn't know why but he felt a little excited at meeting Yuri again even if they were just going to inspect the theater studio. It wasn't that thrill you get when meeting your crush, it was more of the thrill that ran through your whole body when you knew you were about to take the first step in doing something you had been feeling scared to do all your life.
Jimin's toes tingle and he wiggled them in his shoes, holding hands together.
A few students from the faculty came out, some smiling at him in greeting while others ignoring his existence. The first years did a double take every time they passed him. Looking him up and sniffing the air to make sure he was what he was.
He pretended to be busy on his phone and oblivious to the students. That is until he heard a growl from afar and snapped his head up.
Yuri was walking towards him and his eyes were blazing a fiery red color. Someone that had been openly snickering about Jimin flinched visibly when she sniffed the air full of the in-coming alpha's angry scent.
"I don't want to anyone else around here when I open my eyes, fuck off everyone!", He demanded, closing his eyes. One thing about the mountain wolves was that they never back down on their words and everyone knew about it. Jimin hadn't taken a blink yet and everyone had scattered, mostly the omega's and betas. The other alphas walked off disinterestedly. They wouldn't want to start a fight with a mountain wolf, especially one from Crescent Lupus.
"Are you okay?", Yuri asked, looking at him worriedly." I'm sorry I'm a minute late, I was packing my stuff".
"I'm okay, I'm used to it anyways", Jimin waved him off, trying to laugh." Shall we?"
"Well not yet…", the alpha replied apologetically." I have to run by the house and leave something first... would you mind accompanying me?".
Jimin looked at him trying to process what he had just said then he remembered that Yuri didn't know he knew Jungkook and it would be stupid if he told Yuri to go and come back so he nodded after another minute with a smile.
"Sure".
"Great!", Yuri replied in relief." The house is not far from here".
I know. Jimin replied in his head. You think I don't know how much distance it is from that place and me?
Jimin nodded here and there at Yuri's small talk and answered a few questions from time to time. Just as Yuri had said, it didn't take them long enough to reach the Crescent Lupus house.
"Do you not want to come inside?"Yuri asked when he realized Jimin had stopped at the lawn.
Jimin shook his head no." I don't think I'm allowed inside….."
"Who said so?", Yuri raised his eyebrows." Everyone brings people all the time".
Jimin grimaced." Yeah and all the people they bring are most likely omegas and betas...I'm a- a-human…".
Yuri walked back to him and reached out his hands cupping the smaller boy's face.
" Hey, hey, there's nothing wrong with you,okay? I swear Head Alpha Yoongi won't get mad, he's a cool guy-"
"YURI! is that you? for fucks sake pup-", a growling yell came from the porch. Jimin looked around Yuri to see Jungkook standing on the steps, looking pissed off. The alpha had stopped mid- sentence having most probably sniffed out Jimin's perfume from the other Alpha's scent.
Yuri turned around, sensing the tension in Jungkook's aura.
"I'm coming in a minute!"He called back and turned to Jimin and took his hand." It's just Jungkook, he might seem intimidating but he won't bite, come on-"
"No!", Jimin objected, removing his hand from Yuri's." I don't think-"
The main door opened again and a girl walked out.
Andora? Was that her name? Jimin asked himself. Jimin's eyes traveled from her tousled hair down to her- Jungkook's shirt she was wearing and her bare legs before they traveled up to her face again. She raised her eyebrows as if to ask 'what?' and turned to Jungkook.
"Why is the mood sour here?",she asked before turning her narrowing eyes at Jimin." Is it because of the human?".
Yuri growled and Jungkook smirked when he saw how Andora's words had affected the other Alpha.
"Who else would it be?"Jungkook chuckled, his eyes daring Yuri to pounch. Jimin felt the hair on Yuri's arm stand up but that's not what made him turn and run. It was the fact that Jungkook had looked right at him and insulted him without another breath. It was the fact that he still had the anger brewing inside his eyes and had looked at Jimin like he was nothing. Like he was just a piece of trash on the road and that hurt worse than it did when Jungkook broke off their friendship. It hurt worse than before and Jimin couldn't stay and face him like he had always planned. He just couldn't so he ran and he ran until he collapsed at the park nearby then the tears came and they didn't stop.
The omega pulled out his phone to call Taehyung.
"Babe?"Taehyung's voice said from the other line. Upon no response, Taehyung tried again." Jimin, what's happening?".
"P-plea-se come get me", he sobbed into the phone." Teddy…"
"What happened!? Why are you crying!? NARIIII!"Taehyung yelled on the other line." Jimin, I need you to calm down and send me your location,okay? Can you do that?..... okay, Nari and I will be there soon, love, just stay put".

He didn't want to open his eyes. He could already smell the burning atmosphere and taste the ashes on his tongue. His throat was dry again and he felt his arm being tugged.
"Baby, come on. We have to keep moving", the all too familiar voice of the woman begged and he opened his eyes. The first thing he registered was that she was pretty and had round doe eyes like his but they didn't have any light in them.
Why not?.He wondered. She seems like someone who should be happy...why is she not happy...was she scared?
He felt the tug at his heart again and turned his attention to the other two people following at the back, his eyes zoning in on the little boy, the same size as him in the man's arms.
His vision was a bit fuzzy and he couldn't make out the boy's face very well but he could feel that the boy was scared and was hurt somewhere. He could tell the boy wanted him close by. He turned to go back but the woman in front of him tugged his hand harder.
"Not now baby.. please darling",she sobbed, pulling his hand while he kept looking back." I know he needs you and you need him but we have to keep going. They'll catch up with us soon enough if we don't hurry".
"Mama", he said for the first time since he had opened his eyes and he surprised himself with how much younger his voice sounded." Hurts….he hurts".
"I know. I know baby", she cried much harder. The other woman caught up to them and she knelt down beside him. She had long silvery hair and her eyes were a deep blue.
"Jungkook, I need you to be strong and listen to your mother, okay?", She said, patting his hair. She looked from him to the boy in the man's arms." He's going to be fine. You have to be a strong little Alpha for your mom and for him okay?"
He felt himself nodding but something was off and suddenly the ground beneath him was shifting and his mother had scooped him up to place him inside the nook of a fallen tree with a hallow inside.
And just like that he was witnessing the men with guns slaughter his mother who had shifted into her wolf form. He watched the other woman and man shift also, the man putting down the boy he was carrying.They were both white snowy wolves and they put up a good fight but it was no use, the humans had bullets infested with wolfsbane and they shot at them multiple rounds until the wolves couldn't out up a fight anymore.
Jungkook felt the link between him and the boy that the other two wolves had discharged on the cold mossy floor to fight, weakened as he was picked up by one of the humans.
He felt a sharp pain shoot throughout his whole body as the the boy tried to break the last remaining threads of link that connected them.
"Run Kyuu", he heard his soft whisper in his mind,like a warm cloth covering his body,
Like a a ray of sunshine on a rainy day but he couldn't move his feet and he was glued to the tree trunk. He heard the loud wailing of toture come from his soulmate as the boy fought to break the last thread. He felt his body become stiff as white hot shearing pain shot up his spine suddenly and he felt something leaving his body as his vision blacked out.
"I'm sowi".
That was the last thing he heard from the boy.
"C-chim…", he murmured." No Ch-him!"
"Jungkook! Jungkook!", Yoongi called from far away, shaking him awake.
Jungkook jolted out of bed, his skin drenched with sweat and his hands balled into a fist.
"Hey, hey, you're okay, you're okay, I'm right here", the head Alpha reassured him, squeezing his hand to get him back to reality." I'm right here pup, take a deep breath and calm down".
"I-I-", Jungkook started and then the tears came as he buried his head in the other Alpha's chest." I couldn't save him. I was right there! I could've done something Yoongi, I should've fought as hard as I could. I should've let them take me with him. What kind of a person am I !? I'm a terrible person who let him break our bond. I should have fought to keep it-"
Yoongi ran a soothing hand down the young Alpha's back."No Pup, it wasn't your fault. You were young, what would you have done? It's not your fault".
"I can't remember him Yoongi. Everyday his face gets fuzzier and fuzzier. I'm loosing the only link I have to him, I can't keep him safe inside my memory any more", Jungkook sobbed.
The head Alpha petted his back." Let it out Pup. I'm here to listen, just let it all out".
Yoongi stayed with the young Alpha until he feel asleep then he tucked him into bed and cleared his hair from his face. He hated seeing the pup like this. His face looked distraughted and troubled.
Probably going back into his memories again. Yoongi thought with a worried glance before he got up and went out of Jungkook's room, nearly almost running into Yuri there.
"Oh,I'm sorry sir", the young pup apologized.
"No need to call me sir", Yoongi waved him away." Just yoongi is fine. Where have you been?"
"Oh, I-", Yuri started, avoiding Yoongi's eyes.
"You've been running?", Yoongi sniffed the air around him." Why is your mood sour?"
Yuri scratched his hair." I had an argument with JK-"
"You did? Hope you won cause I can never win against that mf", Yoongi chuckled lightly." Anyways, I have to hit the bunk, have a good night".
"You too Yoongi", Yuri smiled as the head Alpha walked away.

Jimin was waiting again in front of the theater building. He saw Yuri's texts and replied for him to take his time before sliding his phone back into his jacket and taking a seat on one of the benches nearby. He pulled out the book he had been meaning to start on and made himself comfortable.
He was feeling giddy and slightly happy this particular afternoon.
I'm going to dance. He thought happily. I'm finally going to dance and I won't feel guilty about it because fuck Jungkook. It's been a year and he clearly won't stop all this shit he put me through. I deserve to be happy. I deserve to do thing that make me happy. I deserve to live my life unapologetically.
He was so immersed in his thoughts of loath that he didn't see the black convertible pulled up to the side of the road before none other than Jungkook stepped out.
Jimin heard the door slam and turned to see who it was only to roll his eyes and turn back to his book.
He didn't look up until he saw Jungkook's shadow blocking the sun on his book.
"Why the fuck are you everywhere!?", The alpha snarled.
Jimin closed his book patiently and put it down before looking up, mastering up almost all the courage he had left in him.
There is no fucking way I'm letting you ruin my day. The smaller boy thought.
"Oh I don't know Jungkook! Other than the fact that I go to school here! I don't know why you're everywhere!", Jimin snapped.
"Don't you fucking talk back to me you nasty human!", Jungkook growled.
"WHY?", Jimin stood up, making the alpha take a step back." Because you're a big bad Alpha,I'm supposed to get scared of you!?... you're pathetic Jungkook, just fuck off-"
Jimin never got to finish his sentence because Jungkook was flying across the lawn.
Jimin turned to see Yuri standing a few meters away. His eyes glowing red and his fangs coming out. Jungkook snarled and flipped up, landing on his heels. His eyes had turned a golden yellow and his claws where out.
Jimin could sense the tension in the air as the two Alpha glared and growled at each other. Other wolves nearby started to gather as they sniffed out a fight happening.
"Jungkook!", Jimin heard someone called and soon enough Andora came running up to them. She took one look at the scene turned to look at Jimin and glared at him as of this was all his fault.
"Stop this nonsense!", She scolded the older alpha." People might think you're actually fighting over a human".
"Everyone! Fuck off", Yuri growled, students scattering and walking off as he calmed down and turned to Jimin." Are you okay? Did he hurt you?".
Jimin nodded still shocked that Yuri would do that to his mentor / pack member.
"I'm-im okay".
If Jimin was stunned, he was even shocked when Andora just walked up and slapped Yuri across the face ,growling.
"Don't you have any respect for your seniors!?", She barked and turned to Jimin at the same time raising her arms only for Yuri to take it.
"Don't you fucking lay your hands on him , stupid bitch!", Yuri warned.
Jimin recovered quickly, grabbing Yuri's hand and tugging him away in an instant.
"Yeah! Walk away you fucking cowards!", The omega yelled behind them. Jimin rolled his eyes and turned to Yuri.
"Don't ever do that again Yuri", he said slowly." I don't want to owe anyone anything, especially you".

Jimin was already on the edge of bursting into tears at how Nari kept growling, trying to move forward and grab Yuri.
"Nari, please", Jimin protested, holding her back." He's not the enemy here... you're drawing a lot of attention to us, please calm down".
Yuri wasn't making it any easier by growling back and challenging the other Alpha.
Jimin looked over frantically to see if anyone would help but no-one fancied stepping into the middle of the fight to break it up. He spotted Hoseok on the other side but the Beta shook his head as if he too didn't want to be involved in the scene.
"Nari please calm down", Jimin pleaded, holding her face in his hands." Look at me Nari. It's me Jimin, keep your eyes on me. Just keep them on me and calm down. I won't like it if you hurt Yuri. I'll be very sad Nari ...."
Jimin could tell it wasn't Nari that growled back at him but her wolf.
Taehyung chose that moment to burst into the studio, shocking the other wolves in the
process. Seokjin towed behind him.
"Nari", Taehyung called sternly, the alpha seemed to sense Taehyung's sweet jasmine scent because she turned suddenly, eyes dawning on the talked blond." You're scaring everyone here".
Taehyung moved Jimin aside and took the alpha's face in his hands." Hey babe, take deep breaths...in, out, yeah, just like that love, in….out...".
Jimin stumbled over to Yuri with a worried look."Are you alright?".
Yuri shrugged." I'm fine, are you alright?"
Jimin nodded."Are you sure?".
"Yeah".
"We should stop here for now"
Jimin bundled up in his jacket before heading downstairs. Jin was at the living room watching some TV show. He turned to Jimin with raised eyebrows.
"Where are you going at this hour?", he asked sitting up a little straighter.
"Nari's outside", Jimin answered.
Seokjin looked puzzled." Why can't she just come inside like a normal person would?"
Jimin shrugged." She probably feels bad about today".
"Oh- well, tell her I said hi"
"I will"
"Hey", Jimin said once he's taken a seat beside Nari on the stairs.
"Hi", Nari replied with a painful smile.
They stayed quiet for some time, just letting the silence grow around them and the things they wanted to say float in the air until the alpha spoke up.
"I'm sorry about today", she murmured quietly." I don't know what got into me. It's getting harder and harder for me to control him now that people are picking on you. You know how he-we feel about you. Even though I'm trying so hard to be level minded and let it go, he just won't-"
"Nari", Jimin butted in, taking the Alpha's hand in his and squeezing it." I understand what you're trying to say….and I get it, he might be jealous and overprotective of me but that doesn't give him the right to hurt anyone else okay? especially people I know.."
"I know Jimin"
"I know how much you care about me and your feelings for me but I can't- I can't give you back the same thing and it hurts me when you hurt yourself by still staying by my side. You deserve better Nari.You deserve someone who you can protect and be proud of. You shouldn't settle for less"
"I don't want anyone else", Nari replied, bringing her hands up and taking a hold of Jimin's face." Don't- don't say those things. It feels like you're breaking up with me. Don't tell me your thoughts, I don't want to know them. Just tell me you forgive me and I can go back to being a friend to you. I don't want the knowledge of knowing you can't love me more than friends. We can't handle that Jimin, don't say that".
Jimin's heart broke at how helpless the alpha sounded. He could see her wolf whimper and he wished he wouldn't have to say such things but it was the truth and it needed to be said.
He remembered the first time he met Nari when Taehyung and he had moved into campus with Seokjin. She was a second year medical student and friends with Jin. Her hair was a glossy blond and she looked like she just walked out of a modeling magazine. Jimin could feel the power radiating from her even before she introduced herself.
Nari.22. Alpha.No Pack but I can take care of myself.
Jimin could hear her chuckling.
She would come by regularly because she was helping Jin with one of his projects and Taehyung would tease him about her only coming because she wanted to see him.
It was obvious she had a thing for him in the start and when the project ended, she kept coming back, taking care of Jimin and Taehyung even if they didn't ask for it and took them out for dinner and drinks. She would sometimes accompany them to partys hosted by Betas even though those were boring.
She just stuck around and Jimin become used to having her around last year.
Jimin knew she had grown more protective but to what extent? He asked himself. He needed to make a decision and he had really thought about it hard.
"Nari", Jimin said holding her hand that was still on his face." You have to let go of me at some point….not today, not tomorrow but someday, you have to let me go. I don't want to cause you any pain-"

"Nari!-", Jimin croaked but the alpha had stood up and jump down to the lawn before running towards her car. She didn't look back when she got in and drove off.
Jimin felt the tears he had been holding in finally come down.
He sat there for another hour, wondering if he had done the right thing until Jin came out and took him inside.
