Summary
She misses Jackie. She misses her strawberry scented shampoo, her wide hazel eyes, all the times she spent with her hand tucked into hers as she gently painted each nail a color Shauna really disliked but went along with anyway. Partly due to Jackie swearing it would look good on her, but mostly she savored any physical contact her best friend would allow from her. Only Jackie is at Rutgers, and she and Jackie aren’t talking anymore. In fact, Jackie would probably recoil at the sight of her childhood best friend shoving her tongue desperately down the throat of Nasty Natalie. Not because Jackie loves Shauna or even because the jealousy would cause her stomach to turn, forcing her to throw up her lunch. But because Jackie is unwaveringly, undeniably straight. And Jackie thinks things would be easier if Shauna was too.
