Summary
Maybe there was a part of her that resented him. How unaffected he seemed, from the very beginning. How he'd grin with a mouth full of blood and broken, split lip and laugh like it was nothing. Bullet proof, courage that Mikan would do anything to have. Kokichi resented her for never protecting him; Mikan resented him for never needing that protection.
Maybe she did this, too, because it was easy.
The surprised, scared look on his face was something like ice water: shocking, unpleasant, but undeniably exhilarating. He couldn't defend against it, not when he didn't expect it. No one expects a mouse to lash out, but was Mikan really a mouse in the first place, or was he? It was easy to wrap her hands around his throat, and it was easy to squeeze; hadn't Kokichi made himself so detestable in all he does?
Kokichi was so very easy to hurt.
Mikan and Kokichi are siblings.
