The Future is Always in Motion - Glossary

Summary:

A chapter by chapter glossary of terms from The Future is Always in Motion

Notes:

Hello! I just wanted to make sure that I don't write anything too unapproachable or confusing, so this will be a glossary of terms from my SKZ fic. It'll go chapter by chapter, with definitions for terms appearing per chapter.

If there's anything I'm missing, or anything that you as a reader are confused by, please leave a comment and I'll add it accordingly! Thank you!

Chapter 1: 1.0 (Han)

Chapter Text

1.0 (Han) Terms:

  • Caleb Dume is a Jedi Padawan that shows up in The Clone Wars and Rebels (but he is referred to as Kanan Jarrus in Rebels). In the intro to A New Dawn, Caleb questions whether the Jedi Beacon can be reprogrammed to warn Jedi of danger.
  • Padawan is the term used to denote a Jedi apprentice. Due to the Clone Wars, many young Padawans actually became military commanders and saw combat.
  • Felucia is a jungle planet in the outer-rim that saw heavy fighting during the Clone Wars.
  • Kyber or kyber crystals are crystals that are used to power lightsabers and other weapons. They are attuned to their user.
  • Lantillies is an industrial planet in the mid-rim that specializes in shipbuilding.
  • Rodians are green-skinned reptilian humanoids (and the most famous is Greedo from A New Hope).
