Summary
In a future where Earth has been devastated by angels, the seraph Castiel has rebelled and joined the human resistance led by Dean Winchester. Humanity is on the verge of victory when Dean’s brother Sam learns of the angels’ final, desperate plan: they will send an assassin twenty years into the past — to kill Dean before he can become a threat.
Low on grace, Castiel nevertheless volunteers to travel back in time to save Dean’s life. As he gets to know this younger Dean, his carefully constructed walls come tumbling down, unleashing a love that Castiel has kept a secret for years.
