Charles Frances Spring,
My person, my world, my everything,
There are so many ways to show I love you.
Writing poetry isn’t something I thought I’d ever do.
So please forgive me if this is kind of cringey,
But the thought of marrying you still makes me giddy.
Your laughter it delights me, when it fills the air,
A sound so adorable, simply beyond compare.
Your eyes so deep and blue, I am lost in their ocean hue.
I knew right from the very start; I was meant for you.
Your lips so soft, so pink and sweet,
One kiss from you, and I was complete,
Dimples that make me go weak at the knees,
And your crazy curls, oh the things they do to me.
But your physical beauty is not all I see!
You are generous, caring, and brave as can be.
You’re kind and loyal, with elegance and grace,
A shoulder to cry on, with the warmest embrace.
Your quiet confidence and spirit, now shine so bright,
You stand tall and proud and continue to fight.
After all you’ve been through you still amaze me,
And worthy of your love, I will always strive to be.
We were young when we met and we fell in love fast,
But our love is deep, pure, and forever it will last.
And I know one thing for sure my darling Charlie,
In every universe you and I are simply meant to be.
So, Charlie I promise I’ll be your rock, your guiding light.
I’ll hold you close in my arms, every day, and every night.
Through your struggles and all of your fears,
I will always be there to wipe away your tears.
When your burden is heavy and world filled with pain,
Together we’ll brave the wind, the storm, and the rain,
I’ll be there to support you, every step of the way,
For you make my world brighter, each and every day.
My Charlie, my love, the one I adore,
I love you now and will do, forevermore,
I will always be your Nick, you my Charlie,
You are the only one I’ve ever wanted to marry.
In any universe I would find you, any lifetime I won't forget,
Because our souls were entwined forever, from the moment that we met.
