    Will cut off his disjointed rambling with a laugh. He was grinning mischievously, his eyes still intense, as he closed the distance between them until they were practically nose-to-nose. Or they would have been, if not for the fact that Will was at least a head taller than Nico. Nico now had to crane his neck upward just to see Will’s face.

    Will leaned forward slightly as well, stopping with his mouth beside Nico’s ear, answering softly, “I don’t remember complaining about the bed.”

    Nico licked his lips, blurted out, “I would really like to kiss you.”

    Or, because his friends keep pestering him about getting out and meeting new people, Nico uses a dating app to find a date to his friends' wedding. It's meant to be a one night arrangement, just to get everyone off his back. Until he meets Will, and thinks maybe a bit more of a connection could come from this after all.

    Then someone gets murdered.
