   Summary

   Luke had spent the first 19 years of his life assuming he was a beta, which was only reinforced after he made it through his teen years without ever going through Presentation, so when he got an opportunity to study a heat-inducing flower during his residency on the Empire's Executor he reached for it with open arms.

   Only, the flower seems to have different plans, as Luke finds himself struggling though his last shift with a rising fever and an urge to find a safe, quiet place to nest.

   Except, a presentation heat might not be the only thing to visit him.
