Summary
Techno set about putting together a simple, quiet breakfast of toast and jam, absently getting out a tin of tuna when he passed the pantry. When he turned to face the kitchen island once more, there was a second cat sitting beside the fruit bowl, seemingly trying to judge if it could fit in the space the kitten wasn't taking up. It had dark, curly brown fur and a bushy tail that was wagging wildly. When it realized Techno was staring, it gave him a long, quiet 'meeeeeeeeeeeeer' before waving a paw at the kitten.
"Wilbur," Techno huffed, setting his plate of toast down so he could reach for his brother, "leave the little guy alone, he's exhausted."
The cat leapt to the floor, but it was a lanky human who landed. "But Techno, look at him!" Wilbur whispered, motioning to the kitten, who was still snoozing. "He's so tiny! Just a baby!"
