Chapter Text
Athena woke up on the sofa to a place where she doesn’t recall ever being before, something was on his face and it felt very cold when their hands ran over it. At some point she felt a small shock of electricity run through his finger, they pulled back her finger in shock as he noticed the fact that there was some sort of light source on the mask.
They were panicking underneath the mask but with the blinding pink lights being turned on it appeared as though she was very calm as he stood up to have a look around the cabin that they were in, she was screaming hoping that anyone would notice that he was in distress and needed help but their exterior seemed to be as calm as ever.
As Athena was looking around, a little icon of a mascot came up with some dialogue which said, ‘I’m Quixis, Showfall Media’s Mascot!’ The mascot didn’t appear to have a face but was a variety of different colours. ‘As the audience, you get to control what

our Hero does!’
She noticed that one of the doors had three different colours locked on it, another was covered in iron chains and there was one behind him that could be the exit to this place so they decided to go through it but when she entered he was just surrounded by forest so they went back inside and were utterly confused.
She decided to look around for the keys and some voices his thoughts were telling them to check the bookshelf and as she did a bunch of books fell on top of him and they made an audible noise of pain. “Ouch- oh hey! It’s the first key.” She quickly put it in his jacket pocket and got up only to realise that an urn had been broken, they decided to look through the ashes on the floor but eventually decided to give up.
‘Oh no- that was someone’s grandma- you just killed them again!’ Quixis seemed to be angry as Athena was looking through the ashes that were on the floor. ‘How could you,
Athena
Hero!’ They seemed to be even more angry at Athena as they just walked away from the mess.
She opened the curtains as his
voices in their head
thoughts had instructed her to and saw a shadow of a person? Monster? Either way he just brushed it off and grabbed the key, quickly shoving it in their pocket to join the other one which was in there as well.
She felt as though he should go through the only door that was able to be opened and as they did, she was surrounded by a massive beach which made him choose to pocket some sand since she thought it could be useful.
Quixis appeared on the audience's screens once again. ‘Pocket sand is useful in any situation! You never know when you might need it!’ They seemed to be very excited at the idea of pocket sand even if the audience was confused on why it would be needed.
A bunch of voices
, his thoughts had also instructed them to check around the door and she found an instrument which he felt a little excited about. “I haven’t played one of these in a few years- let me just-” They played the instrument and a bunch of bats fell down from the ceiling which were all coloured red. “I mean red bats could mean a red key.”
Quixis seemed to be excited as the bats fell down from the sky. ‘I love bats! They are my favourite! You could be right,

Hero, there might be the final key there!’ They were very excited at the idea of Athena gaining another key.
She started searching the bat for a key and managed to find a way so he decided to make their way over to the door when she heard a loud bang which just made him scream loudly but the lights on their mask flashed pink so she just stood confused as smoke started to flood the room as the door fell to the ground and revealed…
