   Summary

   Taylor Hebert rose to save humanity from an existential threat, and in the doing, destroyed herself.

   Many portals opened on that day. One of them to another world entirely, many steps removed from the layering of alternate Earths already accepted. Somehow, Taylor fell through it once the deed was done, waking to a world entirely unfamiliar with entirely new threats.
