Allison's countenance blossomed with a crimson flush, catching Dash's discerning gaze. Perhaps the fortuitous occurrence of her oversleeping held a silver lining; she'd been spared from attending a music show she had persistently stated to the press she would never associate herself with.
Learning that her boyfriend secretly loved romance movies, so much so that he somehow had acquired the original screenplay of his favorite movie—which he was reenacting now—along with the elusive director's cut DVD, had eclipsed any superficial joy she would have felt in the face of some bigwig at some VIP event.
