Summary
This is the second installment to my fanfic Kiss me (don’t choke on my love)! It can be read as a sort-of standalone
“But.” Childe smiled, eyes twinkling. Trick me again, and you’ll regret it.”
“Do not worry,” Zhongli grinned, sparkling like a constellation. “That will never happen.”
Childe fantasized about an alternate ending, perhaps a happier path that he could’ve travelled. He thought about this in between the onslaughts of cruel memory, the fragments of a painful past better left forgotten. He was trapped in a kaleidoscope of pain, blood and suffering, mirages of flowers and broken dreams.
He didn’t want to die like this.
