Chapter Text
16 year old Danielle, Elle for short, shot through the sky, clearly enjoying her flight. She was supposed to be on patrol, and she technically was. Sure she wasn't following her routes, or checking very hard, but her ghost sense would alert her anyways, so she didn't think it mattered. Sure, ghost hunters were a problem, but the most threatening ones were the G.I.W., and the town had run them out a few years ago, specifically when Danny was made known as a halfa.
Elle floated on her back, admiring the stars. She wasn't as into astrology and space, unlike her brother, but she still thought they were pretty. That small, little sister part of her that looked up to him also played a role, she liked the stars because of him. She was so focused on remembering certain constellations that she failed to notice someone flying up to her.
“Hey Elle!” She let out a little scream, flying right side up and firing up an ecto-blast out of habit. It was just her, technical, brother, Timmy Turner. She huffed, ecto-blast dying down so she could slap his shoulder.
“Dude, give me more warning next time!” Elle said, shooting him a glare when he just laughed. “Sorry, sorry. Didn't realize coming up to you like a normal person would scare you.” He said with a cocky grin, as if he wasn't daring to fly with his fairy wings while it was dark and quiet enough.
“Right, ‘normal person’, like we totally are.” She mumbled, then grabbed his arm to pull him to the ground. He may be willing to take more risks, but she doesn't want to explain where a fairy came from if anyone sees him. Not like it wouldn't be easy to say it was a ghost, but still.
“What are you doing out here, especially so late?” Elle questioned. Timmy looked away for a moment, before muttering, “Had a nightmare.” He cleared his throat, speaking louder. “And I wanted to see if you're up for a prank or two.”
Elle raised an eyebrow. “In the middle of the night?”
“What better time to prepare than when everyone’s asleep.” Timmy shot back, shit-eating grin on his face. He was clearly ready to cause some mischief, and thankfully Elles watch was just about to end, because she wanted to as well.
“Well, I still have to watch over this town.” She groaned. Of course, she wanted to protect Amity Park's citizens, but it was so boring , especially when there were zero ghosts . “Buuuut, my watch is almost over. Where are we meeting, fairy boy?”
Timmy was already prepared to walk away, clearly bursting with energy. “Retroville.” He replied, handing her a small cube. “Here's a portal so you don't have to break into Danny's room for his. Meet you there, ghost girl.”
Elle had her own shit-eating grin on now. Finally, something exciting, and she could only assume they were pranking her favorite target.
Jimmy Neutron.
