That Yoo Joonghyuk was currently curled up under three blankets—none of which matched, all of which were suspiciously floral in design—like the world’s most irritable human burrito. His hair, usually slicked back with dramatic anti-gravity flair, was sticking up in limp, chaotic tufts. His face was flushed with fever, shiny with the sweat of betrayal, and he was glaring—not at the door, but at the wall—as if it personally had offended him.
He looked like he had lost a duel with both a virus and a toddler with a sticker book.
Or: What starts as quiet pining and mutual obliviousness takes a dramatic turn when Yoo Joonghyuk—who’s never been sick a day in his life—comes down with a fever and turns into the clingiest, softest version of himself imaginable while Kim Dokja has to take care of him. Cue gay panic for Kim Dokja, forehead kisses initiated by both of them, some much-needed emotional revelations, and the slow, tender unraveling of two idiots very much in love.

But what came to his surprise, who he was exactly being married off to. To learn he’ll be getting married to the Archduke Yoo Joonghyuk, it made him somewhat afraid. Not only would he move to a cold and lonely region, but to be wed to someone known for being cold and unfriendly…
Alas, he couldn’t do anything. Part of him was relieved, knowing he’d get away from this awful place that was supposed to be home, away from his abusive father, regardless if it’d leave him in a loveless marriage.
What he didn’t expect was that he would not only develop feelings for the man and grow closer to him, but learn more things that were hidden about himself.
