Lottie is inside of her body, but she doesn't feel very in control. Lucid. That's what she is. Her feet move across the floor of the cabin, this godforsaken place. She's quicker, softer. Honestly, her feet don't even feel like they're touching the floor.
There is a squirrel on a tree directly across from the cabin door. She can smell it. The scent is divine.
Everything happens faster than she could possibly recall. One second she's on the porch, eyes locked on this scuttling squirrel. The next she's hunched over on the ground and the squirrel is gone. A dark patch on the ground remains.
