Summary
Kim Taehyung just wants to be free, away from crime, blood, and the shadows that fill his father’s life, Emperor of Crime. He lives a normal life as a college student in New York City, leaving behind his father and his past. Everything changes when one of those shadows, his father’s right-hand man, Jeon Jungkook, follows him across the United States to protect him. Taehyung and Jungkook push each other’s buttons like no other: Taehyung doesn’t want to be protected, and Jungkook simply wants to do his job like his Boss asked him. But it’s not that simple, with their common past and memories getting in the way. Because they know each other like no other, they understand each other with a glance and they can’t stay away from one another. Enemies? Maybe not.
