Work Text:
"UGHhhhhhhHhHHHhH I AM SOOOOO BORED- OWWW!" Sylvie, has been nothing but a wallowing, complaining mess since he was in the hospital. Molly has tried to soothe him, but after a while it becomes a tedious task, as though trying to pacify an attention seeking toddler.
"Sylvie, with all due respect, which is none, shut up," Giovanni, rubs his eyes, taking a harsh breath. He claims he is only here because Molly asked and that he "kinda owes Bear Trap" but the fact he has gift bag beside him says otherwise.
"With the same respect you have for me Lorenzo, no," Sylvie smirks as Giovanni refrains himself from ripping the smug teenager's neck apart. As Giovanni is being hunted down by the police, he needed to make up some alibi to not get caught if he wanted to see that Sylvie is well as he can be, which is a miniscule amount.
"Well, then, let your dear friend Lorenzo indulge you in a little gift then," Giovanni brandished the gift bag and plopped it into the psychologist's lap.
Sylvie inspected it.
"What is it?"
"Just open it you dim-wit," Giovanni covered Molly's ears as he said the last word.
"Uhm. Mr. Giovanni-Lorenzo-Soup Man, I still heard you, plus dim-wit is not a bad word. Why are you acting like a father figur-"
"Abub- bub bub young one, I am trying not to filth your mind with profound language that I Giova- I mean Lorenzo must require to use while communicating with,” He pauses to point at the crippled teenager. “HIM!”
Sylvie, too indulged in opening his gift, didn’t hear him.
After shuffling through the gift filler, Sylvie produces a fuzzy blue ball.
“Socks?” Sylvie unravelled them. Yes, Blue knitted socks, with white sheep embedded all over.
”You can knit?!” The children say in unison.
“Well, I- Uhm,” Giovanni looks down, pulling at his skirt.
“HAVINGASKILLTOMAKECLOTHESISNECESSARYASAVILLAINOK?”
Sylvie is stunned. “Thanks, I guess grandma,”
He tosses the socks to one side with the seeming intent of not using them ever and sighs.
“The Doctor says that I’ll be discharged from the hospital in like 5 days so I don’t know what to do now. I am so freaking boreeeddd,”
Giovanni is in deep thought.
“Hey guys I have an idea what we should do when the doc busts out of this place,”

“So… You’re telling me, you like the colour green, blue and white, plus you like fruit?” Molly presses her hands together and brings them up to her face.
Giovanni invited both Molly and Sylvie to his house for a sleepover, which they both accepted, though Sylvie more a little more grudgingly.
Giovanni pulled up to Sylvie’s place with Molly, who he had taken prior.
To lead up to this moment, context is quite crucial.
As soon as they entered the place, Molly felt the urge to start clearing up everywhere.
The only place that was morally clean was his bedroom, where a flag was hung…
“Uhh, Sylvie. Do you know… what flag that is?” Molly nodded to the flag.
“Erhm, no not really, I just relate to it, I don’t know how to explain it though, plus I like the colours,” Sylvie shrugs it off, oblivious to the weight of the situation.
”Oh, My, God,” Giovanni’s jaw dropped. He and Molly shared a glance, and immediately knew what to do.
“Sylvie,” Molly, still in shock, motions to a chair.
”I need you to sit down; we need to talk,”
”Uh, Why? I am the therapist here,” Sylvie furrowed his brows, but sits down anyway.
Molly and Giovanni hold back tears, as though parents at their child’s graduation.
”You sweet summer child, what is your opinion on fruit?” Giovanni enquires.
“Oh, yeah I love it so much, it’s so delicious,”
Giovanni’s jaw dropped into a lower plane of existence.
”Ok, I-, Next question. Er, what’s your opinion on Miguel O’ Hara from Spider Man Across the-“
”Woof woof awooga daddy, I will cook clean and care for him, anything for this man, if I am not good enough it is my fault, I should try harder for him and only him-”
Molly’s eyes popped out of their sockets as she sees Sylvie rambling about a character who isn’t real.
Giovanni is utterly disgusted. “Well, you can stop now, you- you-!”
”Giovanni, no. Let me break the news to him,” Molly speaks up.
”Sylvie, there’s no easy way to explain this. I think, you might be ahem a homosexual,”
"There are two wolves inside of you. 1 is gay, and the second is the other gay, " Giovanni announced
Sylvie is flabbergasted. He knew they were right, but he is still in denial.
"WAIT NONONO, YOU ARE BOTH FACTUALLY INCORRECT," Sylvie shows his feet. "I HAVE SOCKS ON,"
Indeed, he did have socks on; they were blue coloured, with... WAIT SHEEPS?
“Are those, the socks I gave you?” Giovanni points at them.
“Uh NO, they just look similar I guess-!" Sylvie’s answer came out to quick to be plausible.
”Uh huh…,” Giovanni scrutinises Sylvie’s warm face; his filling with complete doubt.
“Anyway, pack your bags, we are going to Giovanni Potage’s LAIR!,” Giovanni added laugh that he wanted to sound evil-like, but it just made Molly giggle.
“We will just wait for you to be ready outside,” Molly exits the room with Lorenz- I mean Giovanni following in suit.

“DUDE! YOU HAVE A RACE CAR BED?" Sylvie and Molly's Jaws dropped simultaneously.
"Yeah I know because I am just so cool," Giovanni laughs.
A motherly voice trails from downstairs.
"GiGi, time for dinner! Are you guys ready?"
"Yeah mom! In a minute!"
Sylvie snickers. "GiGi"
Giovanni's face grows warm and he harrumphs.
"I still can't get over the fact you have two moms," Molly mumbles.
The second they enter Giovanni's humble abode, she and sylvie were smothered with attention from both of Giovanni's moms. As you can probably predict, The enthusiastic mothers' son was cringeing in the corner.
As Molly was being held she felt a familiar sense of feeling. A lovely nostalgic one. One she hasn't felt in an extremely long time. (She's just like me frfr)
"FOR GODS SAKE, GIOVANNI SOUFFLÉ POTAGE GET YOUR BUTT DOWNSTAIRS AND STOP LEAVING YOUR FRIENDS STARVING THEIR LIVES AWAY UP THERE-"
"OK OK MOM SHEESH," Giovanni and Friends leave the room.
"Moms am I right?" He mutters.
The younger children contorts into a question mark.
The awkward sea of awkwardness was dispersed when a mother meets them downstairs.
"Hi Molly and Sylvie," Her voice is lovely to hear to, like birds communicating in spring.
She turns to Giovanni
"I'm just going to be heading out with your Mama, food's on the table, and you guys can just play around I guess,"
She squeeze her son's cheek.
"See you guys soon"
"Bye mom”
