Summary
In the peace following the Mandalorian Civil War, in which the True Mandalorians under the Mand’alor Jango Fett emerged victorious, twins Boba and Cal Fett are being raised by their father to someday take the throne as leaders and warriors. Neither thinks much about the circumstances of their birth, having been found by Mandalorians on an outer rim planet.
Jango, on the other hand, knows the circumstances surrounding his childrens’ conception and birth is a ticking time bomb, a secret that if exposed could ruin the tenuous peace he’s built. When Jango becomes aware of his childrens' other parent, Jango initially acts in self interest to keep his secrets. The more Jango gets to know Ben Naasade, however, the more Jango wishes he could undo his past mistakes and build something new with the man who gave him his two greatest joys in life.
Ben Naasade has no interest in destabilizing Mandalore by revealing the truth of the crime committed against him by Jango Fett. He only wants to be close to the children he gave up years ago. He doesn’t care if the children know who he is, and he’d very much like it if Jango Fett could just fuck off and leave him alone.
