Summary
Qui-Gon would never get another chance like this. It was like the Force was giving him a present, wrapping it in a little bow, insisting that he cease being so humble, so restrained, and accept the gift thrust upon him. Qui-Gon was never one to deny the will of the Force. What could be a better indication of Her will, than stranding him and his padawan upon a desolate moon, engines overheating enough to require that they both shed layers, in a system with a lower age of consent than Coruscant?
