Summary
The girl stood shivering before the tumultuous scene before her; the wind whistling violently through the cracks and caves of the cliff behind her, almost pushing her into the ocean ahead. The moon, staring down menacingly at her; waiting. Mai tries not to think about it, and closes her eyes to begin counting down.
“5… 4… 3…”
The music is louder to her now. So beautiful and mystical, she wonders why she was ever scared before.
“I have to do this.” She says to herself.
And before she could think anymore about it, Mai walked forward into the inviting ocean and did not stop.
