    She saw them, mangled bodies, arms bent flat backwards, heads rolled, bodies crushed. It’s all so random, so cruel. Nobody she saw was targeted - nobody she saw knew it was coming. They were students, so far removed from the conflicts she found herself tiptoeing that she almost threw up at her own guilt rather than the brutality. She recognises faces - not names, she never really committed to learning the names of Spacians.
