Chapter Text
Bakugou stumbled out of the bar, his vision blurry and his thoughts muddled. He could barely make out the familiar numbers on his phone as he fumbled to dial Izuku's number. His heart pounded in his chest, a mix of guilt and anxiety flooding his mind.
Finally, the call connected, and Bakugou anxiously awaited Izuku's voice on the other end. "Hello?" came the familiar sound, tinged with concern.
"Izu... Izuku," Bakugou slurred, his voice choked with emotion. "I... I need to ask you something."
There was a brief pause before Izuku responded, "Kacchan? Are you drunk?"
Bakugou's voice cracked as he tried to hold back tears. "Yeah... yeah, I am. But that's not important right now. I... I need to know something."
There was a hint of worry in Izuku's voice. "Okay, Kacchan. What is it?"
Bakugou took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "If... If let's just say a boy touches another girl while he's in a relationship... is he cheating?"
Izuku's tone became slightly guarded. "It depends, why?"
Panic gripped Bakugou's heart as he struggled to find the right words. "Oh god... please don't be mad at me."
Izuku's confusion was evident as he asked, "What the hell did you do, Kacchan?"
Tears streamed down Bakugou's face as he sobbed into the phone. "I... I accidentally touched another girl's shoulder in the bar. Please, Izuku, don't break up with me. I'm sorry."
There was a moment of silence, and then Izuku burst into laughter. "That isn't cheating, Kacchan!"
Bakugou was taken aback, his drunken mind unable to process Izuku's response. "What... what do you mean?"
Izuku's voice softened with amusement. "Kacchan, cheating is about intent and emotional connection. Accidentally brushing against someone's shoulder is not cheating. It's just an innocent mistake."
Relief flooded through Bakugou's veins, and he slumped against a nearby wall, his sobs turning into hiccuped laughter. "So... you're not mad at me?"
Izuku chuckled on the other end of the line. "No, Kacchan. I'm not mad. But please, next time, try not to panic so much. Talk to me first."
Bakugou nodded, even though Izuku couldn't see him. "Yeah... yeah, I will. Sorry for calling you like this."
Izuku's voice softened with affection. "It's okay, Kacchan. I'm always here for you, no matter what. Now, I think it's time for you to go home and get some rest. We can talk more in the morning when you're feeling better."
Bakugou sniffled, wiping away his tears. "Yeah... yeah, I'll do that. Love you, zuku."
"I love you too, Kacchan. Take care and get home safely."
With those words, Bakugou ended the call, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.
