Mikey stumbled out of the noisy club, his vision blurry and his steps unsteady. He had consumed one too many shots of tequila, and the alcohol coursed through his veins like a reckless wildfire. The night had started innocently enough, with Mikey and his friends celebrating their recent victory in the motorcycle race. But as the drinks flowed freely, Mikey's inhibitions faded away.
As he wandered through the dimly lit streets, he couldn't help but attract attention. His laughter echoed through the deserted alleyways, drawing puzzled looks from the few passersby who happened to be out at this late hour. Mikey, oblivious to their gazes, stumbled and bumped into lampposts and trash cans, his loud voice cutting through the still night.
"Hey, Mikey, slow down!" Draken called out, trying to keep up with his intoxicated friend. "You're gonna break something, or worse, hurt yourself!"
Mikey turned around, his eyes barely able to focus on Draken's worried face. "Nah, Draken, I'm invincible! I can take on anything!" he slurred, raising his fists in mock boxing stances.
Draken shook his head, chuckling. "Yeah, well, let's save the boxing for the ring, huh? We don't need you starting a street brawl tonight."
Eventually, Mikey stumbled upon a reflective storefront window, his bleary eyes staring back at him. He leaned in closer, squinting as he tried to make out his own reflection. "Hey there, handsome," he slurred, wagging a finger at the mirror image. "You think you can steal my boyfriend, huh? Well, not on my watch!"
With surprising agility, Mikey threw a wild punch at the glass, shattering it into a thousand tiny shards. The noise jolted him back to reality momentarily, but his intoxicated mind dismissed it as the victorious sound of his imaginary battle. He continued to dance around, swaying and flailing his limbs, fighting his own reflection with fervor.
Unknown to Mikey, his friend Draken had been trailing behind him, capturing the entire absurd scene on his phone. Draken had known Mikey for years, and while he admired his friend's fierce loyalty, he couldn't resist recording this unforgettable moment to share with their friends later.
Hours later, as the first rays of morning sunlight peeked through the curtains, Mikey slowly regained consciousness. His head throbbed mercilessly, and his mouth felt like it had been stuffed with cotton. He groaned, attempting to sit up, but his body protested vehemently.
"Morning, sunshine," Draken's voice sounded from the corner of the room. Mikey turned his head, squinting against the brightness of the room. "What happened? Where am I?" he mumbled, rubbing his temples.
Draken smirked and reached for his phone. "Well, let's just say you had an eventful night, my friend. I have something you might find... entertaining." With a mischievous glint in his eyes, he pressed play on the video.
Mikey watched in horrified fascination as he stumbled and fought with his own reflection, the broken glass shimmering in the moonlight. His face flushed with embarrassment, he buried his head in his hands. "Oh no, no, no. I can't believe I did that," he muttered.
Draken burst into laughter, clutching his stomach. "Oh, Mikey, you never cease to amaze me. I think Takemichi should be warned about his 'rival'." He chuckled, replaying the video once again for good measure.
Mikey groaned, his face turning crimson. "Please, Draken, don't show anyone else. This will haunt me forever," he pleaded, looking up at his friend.
Draken's laughter subsided, and he patted Mikey on the back. "Don't worry, buddy. Your secret's safe with me. Just remember, next time you decide to have a few too many, try to keep your fists away from glass windows and reflections, okay?"
Mikey nodded, a mixture of relief and gratitude flooding his weary body. "Thank you, Draken. I owe you one," he said sincerely.
Draken grinned and held out a glass of water. "You owe me more than one, my friend. But for now, let's focus on getting rid of that hangover of yours. And perhaps we can find a way to get back at Takemichi for causing this whole mess in the first place."
As they laughed and reminisced about the previous night's misadventure, Mikey couldn't help but feel grateful for friends like Draken. Through their shared laughter and ridiculous stories, he knew that even in his moments of foolishness, he would always have someone by his side to help him through the aftermath and remind him of the importance of loyalty, even when intoxicated.
With the hangover slowly subsiding and a newfound sense of humility, Mikey made a mental note to take it easy on the alcohol in the future. After all, there were plenty of battles to fight in the world, but fighting his own reflection was definitely not one of them.
