   Summary

   Following a sudden release of angels and demons from the Empty, Raphael lands on Middle Earth and quickly begins taking control of Eriador, starting in the city of Bree. He moves quickly to attack Rivendell and he and Saruman put the lands of Eriador, including Rivendell and the Shire, under their rule. Together with the elves, including a long lost hero of the second age, Merry and Pippin, and their angel allies, must retake Eriador or die trying.
