Summary
When a pokémon breeder decides that Mt. Quena is a good place to die, Mewtwo views her suicide attempt as an opportunity. He offers her a place to stay and a purpose: to help him take care of the other clones, especially the pregnant Nidoqueentwo. She accepts and the events of Mewtwo Returns change as a result.
A never before published story! I started writing this story on December 2nd, 2007 and had it completed by April 21st, 2008. At the time, it was a trope in Mewtwo fiction to include an OC in the events of Mewtwo Returns, especially a human girl who didn't like other humans (and thus got along well with him). This was my take on the premise. There are elements of this fic that still tickle me: a human being brought into the clone group for a solid reason; the focus on Mewtwo's relationship with the other clones; and Mewtwo being confronted with the fact that, despite his angst, he was wanted by his creators, and some people aren't so lucky.
