Summary
After the war, Severus finds himself adrift. He’s cut all ties to the Wizarding World, but he doesn’t enjoy his newfound freedom. All he feels is an all-encompassing emptiness; most of the time, he doesn’t even know where he is, or why, and he couldn’t care less.
And then suddenly there’s this man who claims to know him. Remus. Remus, with his kind eyes and warm smile, insisting that he wants to help. Severus doesn’t remember him, he has never even asked for help, but there’s something about Remus that is hard to resist.
Against his own resolution to never care about anything again, Severus starts to trust Remus. He finds that, after all, there may be things worth remembering. Now they only have to find out how.
