Tony opens the door, hair wet, wearing a white bathrobe; Steve’s heart skips a beat at the sight.
“Oh, hey, Steve,” he says casually, before taking a step back to let him in. “I didn’t know you’re added to the roster.”
“Hey, Tony,” Steve says, and God, he sounds the opposite of casual. “I—I’m glad—how are you?”
“I’m alive, thanks for asking,” Tony says, chuckling, tone still breezy, but Steve feels the full force of the blow, right to his chest.
