   Grace was not impressed. She simply wanted this conversation to be over, “Why are you here, John?”

   “An officer was shot yesterday, Aaron Thorsen, and we were just hoping for an update on his condition.”

   Grace’s whole demeanor changed, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize that was from your station. Um, I can go check on that for you guys.”

   “Oh, really? That’s great! Thank you!”

   But she wasn’t. In fact, she never returned with information at all.
