Summary
Hawks's feathers fluffed up as Enji came up behind him. The bigger man was warmer than most other people, just naturally running hot. He was careful with his temperature, especially with Hawks, but those feathers still stood on end when heat got near them. Hawks shivered a little bit, at odds with the warm feeling.
"You'll tell me if we need to stop?" Enji asked.
"Of course I will," Hawks said. Enji took him at his word.
"Put your arms behind your back, then," Enji said. He walked away toward the chest at the foot of the bed, leaving Hawks to do as he'd been told.
