They met Dick at the Vampy Club on a rainy October night. It was the very first moment of a life story without end. It was dangerous, unfamiliar territory, but it was meant to be.
Harvey spotted a fire fae in the crowd and nudged Bruce to get his attention. He wanted to tell his long-time partner, "Hey, I bet his blood is as sweet as it is hot," but it was too late. Bruce yielded to Dick's vibrant beauty first.
That was how it all started. All it took was glancing at his bright blue eyes and a hungry look at his throat filled with fresh fae blood. That's how quick it was.
Affairs among vampires and fairies were frowned upon. Mostly, due to the addictive nature of fae blood. Some said it was sweet like chocolate, others said it tasted like wine. But there was one thing everyone agreed and it was that despite how much fae blood you would drink, it would never be enough.
It was true. One taste was all it took to crave fae blood for eternity. One taste and any vampire would be condemned to the vice of chasing faes for eternity. However, nothing could have stopped Bruce and Harvey, two sons of the night, from falling victim to the charm of a fairy born under the will of fire.
Though it was a poor call, an insult to their ancestors, they took a fae home. The strong connection between them was fated. Yes, it was wrong, but it felt so right.
And they never changed their minds.
Drinking Dick's blood together became the perfect nightly routine.
A bite to the neck woke up Dick. Without opening his eyes or moving a finger, Dick already knew Harvey had bitten him. It was impossible to mistake his lascivious style, always wetting Dick's skin before biting.
Dick yawned, "Good morning...night, whatever," and Bruce just muttered, "Greetings to you... and to the night, sweetheart," Bruce said in a theatrical voice as night worshippers did. Bruce's voice was dark, raspy, and yet so elegant. From the first day Dick met Bruce, he knew that Bruce was an old-school vampire while Harvey, sarcastic Harvey, was a theatrical vampire.
"You... taste... delicious darling," Harvey said, mouth full with Dick's ardent blood.
"It's unbecoming to spill blood, dear," Bruce whispered, and then Dick heard the sounds of the vampires kissing.
Looking at the couple of vampires that Dick proudly called "mine" got him feeling as hot as his blood was. Bruce licked the blood falling down from the corners of Harvey's mouth. Bruce kissed Harvey's jaw like a gentleman, and then he went down to lick Harvey's neck. Harvey moans, ah, ah, keeping Bruce entranced and setting Dick on fire.
Dick was thirsty too, but it was another kind of thirst. Faes lived for admiration and applause, and Dick was no different. "I thought I was the meal here," Dick said with a thick fae accent.
"Ho, ho, someone's jealous," Harvey teases, turning his head to see the wanton need in Dick's face.
"What's new? You both knew I was needy and horny since you met me," Dick said a bit defensive. His face was closed, frowning, but his body was open. His legs rested spread on the mattress, looking so inviting to sit between them and kiss the hot skin of his genitals.
Bruce anticipated Harvey's next move by entangling his legs with Dick's, laying down by their fae's side. "Sweetheart, you're the banquet," Bruce talks in his ear.
Taking the right side, Harvey lied down by Dick too. Thanks to his enhanced hearing, he could hear the sweet praise Bruce sang to their beloved fae. Who would have known? Bruce became a sweeter talker than him.
Biting Dick's neck again Harvey showed how wanted Dick was. "Without you, our hearts wouldn't beat," Bruce said, and Harvey agreed by sucking eagerly on the fattest vein of Dick's neck.
Harvey's fangs and Bruce's words of praise hit Dick's sweet point, for he was high begging for his vampires to drink him all. "Please, have my neck, my blood, all of me," Dick said.
Bruce bit his neck too, joining Harvey in gorging such a delicious elixir, the blood of their beloved fae, the source of their vitality.
