Hajime takes a nighttime trip to the convenience store and gets jumped on the way back to his apartment by a vampire named Nagito. In return for his blood, Nagito spends the next couple years paying off Hajime’s debt to the yakuza and bringing him companionship.

Edi from Feb 2, 2026: I started this in high school before I discovered I'm aroace. From a writing standpoint, there's a ton I would change in terms of improvement and embarrassment. However, I'm at a point in my life where I can acknowledge shame and regrets and still say "I wouldn't change a thing." This story gave me something to be excited about amidst a bog of mental health issues and will always have a special place in my heart.
