Chapter Text
It was your typical September morning in the notorious class of 3-E. Everyone was busy chatting away among themselves as they waited for Koro sensei to make an entrance into the room. Karma, Nagisa, Maehara, and Isogai were having their usual chats. Kayano, Nakamura, and the rest of the girls were having their usual discussions over who knows what knowing them. Terasaka and his gang were chatting over what usual mischief to cause once again. All this while Koro sensei and professor Jelavic were waiting for the return of Karasuma after his discussion with the principal.
The main building was full of buzz. So it was only a matter of time before the class of 3-E would get the news as well. The entire class was curious as to what was going on.
"Maybe the notorious class 3-A managed to do something amazing yet again." As Nakamura said while rolling her eyes.
"Oh come on. Nothing big has happened other than big events we know of or exams." Isogai explained, being the class president always there to reassure his classmates.
Maehara looked over, "Well yea. But we're E class. We normally don't know about events until Karasuma asks the principal about them."
This was very much true. Being class 3-E, they didn't get many privileges like the rest of the school did. That was a fact. That's why they had their own little school building up on the hill away from the rest of the main building and the other students. I guess after everything they've been through, you would think that everyone would treat them with more respect. Which was true. At least with the principal. He's the only one that actually shows them respect especially since he's the only one who knows about Koro sensei. He normally tells them about big events, but sometimes he gets caught up on work and doesn't have time to inform them about these big events. Being the principal and all that. Aside from him, everyone else at the main building despises them still. At least that's what they know of. What else did they expect. They're class 3-E. The E stands for end. They're still considered the end class.
Suddenly, the classroom door slides open with Koro sensei standing at the entrance. He walks in with Karasuma and professor Jelavic behind him. The class turns towards him noticing a paper he's holding with fancy patterns on it. It wouldn't be unusual obviously, considering he's a teacher and all that. He places it on the podium and faces the class.
"Why good morning students!!" Which he would start with every morning no matter the circumstances. Unless something were to happen suddenly on rare occasions that would bring his mood down.
"Good Morning Koro sensei." The class would say in unison.
Isogai looked over at Mr. Karasuma, "How did the meeting go with the principal Mr. Karasuma?"
"It went very well, thank you for asking"
The room sat in silence for a few seconds until Koro sensei decided to break it, knowing him.
"Now now class. Despite the principal being too busy to tell us about these big events. It doesn't mean your moods should go down. In fact, you will all be very happy once you find out what I'm about to tell you."
The students of 3-E brightened up by his words. Which the great Koro sensei was always good at. Helping them follow their dreams and supporting all of them. If it even means bringing their moods up.
"Are you going to tell us why Mr. Karasuma met with the principal?" Asked a very curious Hinano. The rest of the class agreed with her question.
"Of course I am. What kind of a teacher would I be if I didn't tell you the news that includes each and every one of you."
Everyone was sitting at the edge of their seats at this point. Even those who didn't normally get this excited. But with everything that's happened in this class so far, what is there not to be excited about.
Koro sensei clears his throat. "Now class. You may have guessed that this event is indeed something big. Which it most definitely is. With our school, Kunugigaoka Junior High, being one of the top schools in Japan, we were given the great opportunity to attend a grand ball!!"
Ooooos and Aaaaas spread around the room as the information absorbs into everyone. Everyone starts to get excited since school dances weren't really a thing at this school. It was all really a fantasy to them considering how they've only seen it in books or movies taken place in the US.
Kayano raises her hand, "So when does the ball take place, and where?"
"That was the next part I was about to include. The ball takes place near mid October. But we'll need some time to get there beforehand."
It was Nakamura's turn to raise her hand. "But why would you need to tell us a month and a half in advance? and what do you mean get there?"
The room goes silent as he sees everyone in the room trying to figure it out. Why tell them so early? Until Koro sensei notices one particular face in the back of the room light up with realization.
This time, it's Karma who speaks up, "The only reason he would tell us so early is.... if it's not taking place here."
The class turns to look at Karma, then back at Koro sensei who's looking at Karma with his usual smiling face. His face then turns orange with the red circle in the middle to indicate that the answer was correct.
"That is indeed correct Karma. Class. This grand ball will not be taking place here. In fact, not even in this country."
He watches as many eyes in the classroom start to widen.
"WHAT?!?!" The entire class yells at once.
Koro sensei decides to continue, "It actually takes place in France."
There's silence yet again.
....
HUH?!?!
"Wait wait wait wait wait, so you mean to tell us. That it takes place.. in FRANCE??" Isogai asked still in shock.
"That's right! This grand ball is held once a year and we were given the opportunity to actually attend it this year. They even decided to let us have the entire building to ourselves!"
Everyone still had their mouths hanging open with the information they were given. It's not everyday you get to hear news that you'll be attending a grand ball in a different country.
Kimura raises his hand from his seat. "But sir. How would we get there? I know we'll be going by plane. But not all of us have the privilege to just purchase a plane ticket that probably costs a lot of money."
Karasuma steps up from the place where he was standing, "I already got that settled. I spoke to the ministry of defense and they will be purchasing plane tickets for each and every one of us."
The class was in shock with mouths still being hung open.
"But sir. Are you really sure about this?" Asked Kanzaki while raising her hand.
"Trust me. After all this, it's the least we could do."
Koro sensei starts to speak again. "Now class. What do we say to Mr. Karasuma."
Everyone gets up from their seats and bows their heads. "Thank you for this opportunity Mr. Karasuma!"
After everyone settled back down in their seats. A sudden reminder hits them.
Itona starts to speak for them from the back of the class. "Koro sensei. Not all of us know how to dance."
It takes everyone a moment to realize that they've never once stepped foot in a ballroom, so they didn't know how to dance like they're in one either.
Koro sensei points one of his tentacles up as if he's about to say something. "Which brings me to my last point. Instead of doing our usual assassination practice during physical education, we will now be doing ballroom dance lessons!!"
Everyone's faces suddenly turned slightly concerned and worried.
Notes:
I had a lot of fun writing this. If there's any ideas you may have or things you may want to see. Then let me know since I'm always open to ideas and suggestions. More chapters are to come in the future so don't worry. I hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned for more of class 3-E's ballroom adventures! Thank you and have a great day/night!
Chapter 2: Time to Partner Up
Summary:
Now that everyone has gotten the great news, it's time for everyone to partner up. What could go wrong? Especially with a giant yellow octopus who's obsessed with matchmaking and any source of romance.
Notes:
Sorry it took me a while to post the second chapter! Being on summer vacation and all that I thought that I would have more free time. But turns out I don't have as much as I thought I would. I also kept forgetting to post it so it was in my drafts lol.
Anyways, enjoy this chapter!
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
It was now lunch time in class 3-E and everyone was starting to get excited regarding the news they got earlier that morning. Everyone was chatting with one another only to be filled with curiosity on what Koro sensei would have in store for them. Nobody in the class has done something like this before so it was all new territory for them.
Isogai decided to check in on his fellow classmates. “So how does everyone feel about this whole ballroom dance lessons thing?”
“It’s pretty exciting if you ask me. Although I’m a little worried about what Koro sensei has in mind for us.” Nagisa said.
Kataoka spoke up. “Yeah. It seems pretty fun. Plus, I think we can all use a break from assassination practice and such.”
Koro sensei was no longer seen as a threat to the class since he decided not to blow up the planet. With that being said, he still had to be kept undercover since other people might think of him as a threat or even capture him and possibly sell him for a lot of money (not like that’s even possible). There was no longer a timer. Which meant the class no longer needed the assassination practice, but they still wanted to sharpen their skills. For fun of course and in case any real life situation came up. So it wouldn’t be too bad to take a break on all this assassination stuff.
Just then, Professor Jelavic walks into the room.
“Now what are you troublemakers talking about this time?”
“Professor Bitch, we were just talking about the dance lessons Koro sensei would give us later.” Yada said with a smile on her face.
“Oh. I see. Well, you’re all talking to a professional here when it comes to dance.” Professor Bitch declared with a proud hand to her chest.
Hara decided to join in the conversation. “I’m not quite surprised. It feels like you can do almost anything. What’s something that she can’t do?”
“You see boys and girls, dance is required for assassins like me who seduce men at big fancy events such as ones like this. Verbal and physical interactions are key to being a good assassin. It allows you to have a full clean mask so your target doesn’t find anything suspicious.”
“Maybe you can teach us Professor Bitch!” Hinano said with enthusiasm.
“Yeah Professor Bitch! It’s not everyday we get to be taught by a professional like you.” Nakamura added in.
With the class knowing about Professor Bitch’s ego, they knew exactly how to push her buttons.
“Oh I don’t know. Maybe you students won’t be able to keep up.”
Hinata chimed in. “But Professor Bitch, it will have to be either you, Mr. Karasuma, or Koro sensei. Koro sensei goes way too fast for things like this and Mr. Karasuma seems like the kind guy who doesn’t know how to even dance in general.”
Professor Bitch stood for a second with a hand to her chin. Thinking on helping her students or not.
“Oh come on guys. Do you really think she has the ability to teach us with her bitchy attitude?” A certain red haired person said from his seat.
“WHY YOU- FINE I’ll be teaching each and every one of you on dance lessons. Even those with cocky attitudes.” Professor Bitch said while glaring at Karma.
The class now couldn’t help but be excited.
“Alright class. If you didn’t already know, there are different styles when it comes to ballroom dancing. But for this specific ball, you will be using something called the Waltz. The Waltz is meant to be smooth and travel around the line of dance. Think of it as something you would see in a movie with a princess. Now, with this dance, you will be needing partners.” Professor Bitch had a finger pointing up and her head high as she explained to the class on what they would be doing.
Koro sensei suddenly zoomed in, “And that’s where I come in handy!”
Everyone in the class had their usual “huh?” kind of expressions as to what Koro sensei has to say next.
“I will be the ones partnering you all up!!”
Everyone started thinking the same thing at once, “oh no.”
This isn’t exactly Koro sensei’s first time attempting matchmaking with his students. They did expect it would happen sooner or later. But they didn’t think it would come to this. They should have known better. Nothing could really stop Koro sensei with his matchmaking.
Isogai raised his hands as the class was sitting on the ground, “Uh, but sir. With all due respect, I think it would be better if we chose our own partners. Considering that this is pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity, I think it would be better for us all if we chose people we were comfortable with.
Koro sensei nodded his head. “Very well said Isogai. Very well then, you all may choose your own partners. But come up to me once you’ve found a partner, I want to be able to keep track.”
Everyone knew why Koro sensei really wanted the names written down, to keep track of all the partners and their progress. In dance and in other terms. Boy was this going to get chaotic.
“Alright now, may I please have all the partners come up one at a time!”
Isogai and Maehara stood up at the same time from sitting next to each other, hand in hand. Everyone looked at their hands intertwined in shock.
“Why Maehara and Isogai! What a surprise!!”
“Yeah sir. We’ve actually been together for a while now. Which is why I wanted us to be able to choose our own partners.” Isogai said with his hand rubbing the back of his neck.
“Very well then. I’m very proud of you both coming out to the class. That was very brave of you both. Something that all people aren’t able to do. You both have my full support, and hopefully the rest of the class too.”
That was a part of his job. Guiding and supporting his students no matter the circumstances. Even if they tried to kill him. He treats his students as if they were his own kids.
The two boys look back and the rest of the class nod with Koro sensei’s statement.
“Thanks sensei.” Maehara said with a smile.
When they sat back down, Nakamura and the other girls crept up from behind.
Nakamura put her hand on Maehara’s shoulder with a mischievous grin, “Now now Maehara, Isogai, make sure you give us all the juicy details later.”
“Oh come on, seriously?”
“Well yeah, what else would you expect from us?”
Maehara frowned.
Isogai just giggled slightly at his expression. “Well, what else would you expect coming from them, Hiroto?”
“Yeah yeah I know.”
The girls gasped, “FIRST NAME BASIS ALREADY??”
“Now now girls. Give them some space, we still have to get along with the rest of the class.” Koro sensei made the move to calm them all down before things got out of hand. Or I guess for him, tentacles.
“Now, who wants to go next?”
It was Nagisa and Kayano who stood up next. Nagisa walks up with Kayano next to him, being a whole blushing mess. With Nagisa being oblivious about this like always.
“Nagisa and Kayano. It was expected from you both.”
“Well sir. We’re good friends now that we learned some new things about each other.” Nagisa started.
“We think we can both manage it together. Plus, we can get to know each other more along the way.” Kayano decided to say.
They heard whispers coming from the back. “Or maybe because they were caught kissing that one time.”
“I HEARD THAT FUWA!” Kayano yells as Nagisa blushes
Koro sensei decided to break the chaos about to awaken yet again. “Nagisa, Kayano, I can see you both being an excellent pair for this event. I mean you both well.”
Nagisa and Kayano thanked him with a nod and sat back down.
Next, It’s Chiba and Hayami who stand up next.
“Oh? Well it’s not that surprising seeing you two work together again. Our two best sharpshooters in the class. Always great with teamwork and getting the job done.”
Chiba and Hayami smile and nod as they both go back to sit down. Nothing more to be said.
Hara nudges Hayami in the arm. “Looks like someones starting to make a move.”
“Oh shut up.”
Okajima does the same to Chiba, “Didn’t think you were into those kinds of chicks. Cute but quiet kind of vibe.”
Chiba just blushed and waved him off.
Sugino and Kanzaki stood up. Everyone was in awe.
“Why Sugino and Kanzaki. What a lovely pair we have here.”
“Sure is Koro sensei.” Sugino said with a smile on his face.
Kanzaki fidgeted with her hands together. “To be honest sir, I would see him catching glimpses of me during class. Or even staring at me. So I thought I would give him a chance.”
“Wha- HEY!”
Kanzaki and Koro sensei just giggled as they went to sit down.
Kimura gave Sugino a fist bump. “Hey, nice job man! Maybe now you actually have a chance and make a move.”
“Thanks!... wait… Are you saying I had no hope?”
All the guys just looked away from him. Avoiding his question.
“Wow, you guys are such great friends.” Sugino said with a smile while rolling his eyes.
“Alright class, who’s next?”
Nakamura and Kataoka decide to go next.
“We’re both already good friends. So what difference does it make as dance partners?” Kataoka explained.
Nakamura slightly blushed but looked away.
Koro sensei giggled at this. “Why that’s wonderful ladies.”
The two girls nod and head back to where they were sitting.
The next pairing to stand was more of an unexpected one to the class, considering the two were never seen having an interaction.
“Why what do we have here,” Koro-sensei says while giving his well-known mischievous smile.
Muramatsu and Hara both look up at Koro-sensei with a smile.
Hara spoke first, “We both have a common interest in cooking and food so we figured why not.”
“She actually comes to my family's restaurant every now and then when we decide to meet up outside of school to talk about interesting recipes we could try,” added Muramatsu.
The whole class stares in surprise at the unexpected pairing that stepped foot in the front of the class. With the class still in silence, Koro-sensei writes down their names, and the two head back to their seats.
Yoshida gave Muramatsu a teasing smirk, “Since when did you and Hara decide to meet up?”.
“Oh shut up we both just have a common ground in cuisine. There’s nothing more to it”
Next stands another pairing that was more or less expected considering the two have opposite personalities. One being the loud troublemaker of the class while the other tends to be a lot more quiet and independent.
Koro-sensei stares at the two students in admiration, considering they have come a long way in terms of emotional development. “Ah yes, if it isn’t Terasaka and Itona. I see you guys have gotten along rather well.”
Itona doesn’t say much while Terasaka mentions how Itona is now a part of their gang and only doing a favor for a friend. However, the rest of the class doesn’t exactly see it as just doing a favor to a “friend.”
Koro-sensei writes down their names and the two walk back to their seats to join the rest of the class.
Yoshida, Kirara, and Muramatsu raise their eyebrows up and down in a teasing manner as a motion of what could become of the two. Which only resulted in a glare.
“Alright, who would like to go next?”
Two students glance at each other from their desks with a brief nod exchanged. They both stand in request of their pairing to Koro-sensei.
“Why Kirara and Yoshida. An unexpected pair in terms of personality, but a close friendship can be seen.”
“To be honest sir, she threatened to curse me if I didn’t pair up with her,” exclaims Yoshida while making a fake crying face.
“I wouldn’t call it threatening, more like a friendly gesture to cure your loneliness,” retorts Kirara.
“Well uh, quite interesting indeed,” adds Koro-sensei. “Too bad I can’t save you from this Yoshida. It is a part of Kirara’s personality, and as her teacher, it is my duty to allow my students to embrace their personalities.
Yoshida looks at Koro-sensei with a defeated look while Kirara glances at him, laughing under her breath at her small victory.
Next to walk up are Kimura and Yada.
“What brings the two of you up here Kimura and Yada?”
“Honestly sir, I asked Yada to be my partner after realizing how pretty she truly is. From then on, I made it my goal to get to know her more since it’s not only beauty on the outside that should be seen but also from the inside. I know it’s a pretty dumb answer, but it’s also an honest one.”
Yada blushes at Kimura’s response while also being left speechless.
“I see, then I believe you two will make a lovely pair for this event.”
The rest of the class stares in awe as the two students walk back to their seats.
“Who knew Kimura could be good with such words,” whispers Kayano to Nagisa with him nodding in agreement.
The next pairing to make their way to Koro-sensei were Okajima and Sugaya. Okajima walked up with a defeated look.
“Now Okajima, what’s with that look on your face?” asks Koro-sensei.
“None of the girls wanted to pair with me even on a grand event like this!!”
“Well maybe if you weren’t so creepy, then we would have maybe considered it,” Nakamura whispered under her breath.
“HEY I CAN HEAR YOU”
“Settle down now students. So what made you both choose who to pair with?” asks Koro-sensei
“We both have a passion for art and creativity. Even if Okajima’s is a lot more…..different and interesting to say the least.”
“Well I like to believe my art is for those who deserve to see it,” Okajima proudly adds.
Koro-sensei writes their names and sends them back to their designated seats.
Mimura and Fuwa were next to go as another unexpected pair with both having interest in different things. They both stand closer to Koro-sensei while speaking in what almost seems like a whisper.
“To be honest sir, we both just want to see the romance unfold like the ones in those cheesy romance mangas.”
Mimura just nods in agreement with Fuwa’s statement.
Koro-sensei acknowledges their idea, “Huhuhu, it seems you both have the right idea. But why did you decide to pair up?”
“I find the stories she says very interesting and allows me to get ideas of potential stories I can create too.”
Koro-sensei nods at his response and sends the students back to their seats.
The next pair of students to speak to Koro-sensei are Kurahashi and Okano.
“Kurahashi and Okano, what brings you both to request a pair?”
Kurahashi speaks first,” Well Koro-sensei, we all know I have a love for the outdoors while Okano has a love and skill for gymnastics.”
Okano adds, “We both figured out gymnastics can be pretty good for the outdoors considering some obstacles that can get in the way or if flexibility is needed to climb trees.”
Koro-sensei nods in satisfaction at their response allowing them to head back to their seats.
The next person to stand is Takebayashi, but he doesn’t end up walking to Koro-sensei with another human being.
“Takebayashi, where is your partner?”
“Well, sir, excluding Ritsu it seems we have an odd number of students in this class which would leave me with no partner.”
Koro-sensei and the rest of the class sit in confusion thinking Takebayashi would have ended up pairing with Okuda, considering the two have a love and passion for science. With that, Koro-sensei refuses to take Takebayashi’s response.
“Takebayashi, as your teacher, I must make sure all students feel and are included in all activities. With that being said I requested the Ministry of Defense earlier on some changes to be made for Ritsu. Since Ritsu is also a student of my own, she must also feel included in my activities. This is why we requested a realistic human-robot to be made with Ritsu being the possessor of the body.”
Takebayashi looks up at Koro-sensei and then back at Ritsu on the screen.
Ritsu smiles, “If it’s okay with you Takebayashi, I would be honored to be your dance partner.”
Takebayashi smiles and glances back at Okuda, who he originally was going to ask as a dance partner, but was too late. He looks back at both Ritsu and Koro-sensei while giving a nod of agreement and thank you to both of them, then walks back to his seat.
“Alright class. The list is now complete with only one pairing left in the bunch.”
Karma and Okuda were the only remaining from the bunch. They stood up and walked towards the yellow octopus-like creature who just so happened to be one of the greatest teachers of all time.
“Last but definitely not least of the class, Karma and Okuda.”
Okuda looked up at the tall being. “Well sir, we’ve gotten to know each other a lot more since the school year has started. We got to experience some new things together and even have a group of friends.”
“Plus, Okuda can make a bunch of concoctions for me to use on my plans.” Karma said with a smirk on his face while rubbing his hands together with a mischievous grin.
The class just looked at him with slight concern.
“Karma, Okuda, it seems this would be a great experience for the both of you. You may even learn new things along the way. It would be a great chance for you two to get to know each other better.”
Karma and Okuda looked back at each other with a smile. Then back at Koro sensei.
Okuda bowed her head, “Thank you Koro sensei.”
Karma just looked at Koro sensei with a smile.
“You’re very welcome, my students. Now with that being said. May the dance lessons… Begin!!”
Notes:
So I didn't include too many pairings, just the ones I was 100% sure on. I don't know, it seemed like it was kind of dragging and I was losing ideas of what they would say or do when Koro sensei called them up. I also didn't want the chapter to be too long for some reason. But I do have an idea on my next chapter so stay tuned for that!
Thanks for sticking around and have a great day/night! :)Edit: I decided to add the other pairings in this chapter per request from a fellow reader. I was going to originally make it another half a chapter but figured, why not add on to this chapter instead? Sorry for the disappearance and hope to post more soon!! :)
Chapter 3: Time For Our First Lesson
Summary:
Class 3-E has officially started their first day of dance lessons!! While also getting a glimpse of the main campus since we haven't gone through with that they've been up to.
Notes:
Are some of the parts a bit more dramatic than they should be? Probably
-I've also edited Chapter 2 if anyone is interested in reading it
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Ah yes. The fresh breezy air of September. Today the students will be having their first day in taking their dance lessons. Previously, everyone chose who to partner up with even if it seemed near impossible. However, the first lesson will have to come to a halt as we make our way over to the main campus of Kunugigaoka Junior High with all the buzz that’s been happening due to the news that’s been spreading about this big event.
Gakushu Asano. Son of Kunugigaoka principal, Gakuho Asano. As expected of his father, he is on top of all his classes and almost every single exam. Well, almost every single exam since a certain red-headed individual did happen to beat him. As expected, with great grades and a great reputation throughout the school, comes great annoyance to Asano as well.
“Pick me as your date!!”
“Hey move over!! I was here first!!”
“You’re all in my way when I was clearly here first!!”
The final school bell for dismissal rang and a whole swarm of students were already surrounding Asano and his friends. Every student has been constantly asking him to be his date for the ball when he already had one in mind, and it definitely wasn’t anyone in this building. But as the principal’s son, everyone wants to be able to grasp even a bit of his power in hopes that he’ll even share it to begin with.
Full of utter annoyance, Asano finally begins to speak, “Ladies and gentlemen, the choice I make will come when I feel the time is right. I want to be able to find a partner that’s just as magical as this event.”
For some reason, the crowd took it as a competition against one another to show off their skills in hopes Asano would choose one of them as their partner. Scurrying away in an instant to go home and sharpen their skills.
As Asano’s closest friend, Ren peeks from behind and asks a question, “Why not stop them and continue to have them compete with one another when you already have a partner?”
Asano looks at Ren with an evil smile on his face, “I just want to see how far they would all go. But it also seems satisfying to see their souls get crushed when my date is from the notorious E class. With me being in A class, no one will expect a thing.”
Back with class 3-E, we have a certain female professor attempting to teach her students the dance technique they will be using. But with a class of trained assassins and a teacher obsessed with romance who also happens to move at the speed of Mach 20, it’s not exactly the easiest thing to do.
“Now students, the first step we’ll be going over will be some of the basics. One place to begin is where our steps should be placed. Imagine walking in a box. Left foot up, right foot right, left foot meets. Next right foot down, left foot left, right foot meets. Got that?”
Confusion can be seen throughout the outdoor environment where they take their physical education class.
“You know I’m trying to figure out if this is worth it now,” whispers Maehara.
“Come on guys, we were able to learn to be assassins. A dance like this shouldn’t be too hard to learn right?” Isogai says without knowing he would regret his words later on.
“Guys, everything I said about earlier. Throw that out the window.” says a now tired Isogai as the rest of the class can be seen exhausted.
“Is it true you danced like this with other men to seduce them for missions?” asks Yada who’s always invested in hearing the famous stories of Ms. Jelavic.
“Why of course it’s true. I know it’s a hard switch-up from our usual schedule of assassin training during physical education time, but a connection can be seen along with it. Like assassinations, dancing needs to have a proper flow. Allowing you to be able to move and react with the next step the person/opponent will take next. The second you lose that flow, it can all go away.”
“Can dancing get me a hot mafia boss one day?” asks Fuwa eagerly.
“Well…I guess so?”
Okajima steps in too, “By the end of this event, all the chicks will be lined up out the door!”
Oh boy. This was going to be a very long lesson.
“Now that you all got the basics, we will now be going over how to dance with a partner,” Ms. Jelavic says pointing a finger while instructing. “I will be demonstrating first for you all to understand the concept of what it’s supposed to look like. With that being said, any volunteers?”
Okajima instantly raised his hand which resulted in a slap on the arm from Nakamura.
“Ow! What’s your problem?”
The girls shush him as the rest of the class grows into silence. That is until Kurahashi steps in.
“I think Mr. Karasuma should dance with you Professor Bitch!”
Ms. Jelavic glances over at Karasuma who’s been watching the class this entire time. Ms. Jelavic glances back at the class with a glare while the rest of the class responds in a smirking teasing manner. Even receiving a look from Koro-sensei (shocking). The two teachers seemed to have gotten a lot closer ever since they thought the world was going to end. However, the romantic feelings seem to look more one-sided.
“Oh I don’t dance,” says Mr. Karasuma in an attempt to defend himself. But he knows better by now that it never works with this class. Unfortunately for him, this particular group of students knows exactly how to push his buttons.
Of course, Karma decides to join in on this fight with his specialty of trash-talking, “Oh come on guys just look at him. He’s clearly programmed to be able to do anything other than fun. Just look at him. No wonder they booted him here with E class.”
As you probably guessed, his trash-talking did indeed work. Ms. Jelavic can now be seen demonstrating with a fast learning Mr. Karasuma while the class watched in awe. Except it wasn’t all that pleasant with Koro-sensei taking a million photos for ✨documentation✨ and photo proof that he was clearly there to witness everything for their future wedding.
“Now for starters, one partner has their hands on the other individual’s shoulder while holding their other hand. The other partner holds the other individual’s waist and hand. Make sense? From there you just move in the box formation we talked about. But remember to follow the flow of your partner.” explains a blushing Professor Jelavic as she demonstrates with Mr. Karasuma.
Fortunately for her, the class learns pretty fast and they were able to get through the first day of lessons successfully and end the day off on a good note.
Notes:
Hey fellow readers!! I know it's been a very long time since I last posted. I just so happen to be in my intense writing phase while also hyper fixating and possibly rewatching assassination classroom yet again. I'll hopefully remember to post more with school out (even though I've said that all the time and haven't gotten around to posting much). With that being said, thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more adventures with class 3-E!!
Chapter 4: Time To Ask Him
Summary:
Karma and Asano get a chance to talk in private with a certain yellow octopus seeing what the two boys are up to.
Notes:
This is a bit of a shorter chapter since I got lost of what else to add🫠

Chapter Text
As the school day comes to an end, the students of class 3-E start to walk down the mountain feeling absolutely exhausted. Some of them even look like they could pass out on the spot. Nagisa and his friends were climbing down the mountain with the rest of the class behind. When they all reach the bottom, they see a crowd of commotion brewing.
Sugino looks over with a face of disgust, “Ugh, what are they up to now?”
The whole class of 3-E watches from where they are standing as the crowd only continues to get larger and louder. That is until they hear a familiar voice.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the choice I make will come when I feel the time is right. I want to be able to find a partner that’s just as magical as this event.”
With those words said, the crowd cleared almost immediately for who knows what reason. Karma recognizing that voice looks up to see who it is only to lock eyes with none other than Gakushu Asano, his “rival.” While trapped in his thoughts, he doesn’t realize Asano and his friends are making their way to E class.
“Well if it isn’t the one and only E-class,” says Asano with a snark.
Ren can be seen attempting to charm Kanzaki while Sugino is trying his best to protect her in an annoyed manner, “My, with your looks, you should have a line out the door of dance proposals.”
Asano locks eyes with Karma, neither of them wanting to break eye contact first.
“Mr. Akabane”
“Mr. Asano”
Everyone else stood there in silence glancing between the two of them in hopes of any other response. When a response wasn’t received for a while, everyone exited the main building and headed home. In reality, Asano and Karma were actually exchanging messages with their eyes to meet up in a place that was more alone.
Karma and Asano both managed to meet up at a park without getting caught by anyone they knew. Well, that’s how it seemed when in reality Koro-sensei was hiding in the trees with some popcorn. As he was flying to who knows where he made a pit stop to see what drama could occur with the reckless Karma and his rival Gakushu Asano.
“My what do we have here? Possible romance? Huhuhu.”
Karma and Asano both settled on a bench as they sat there in silence in a bit to take in the outside world. Both enjoying the silence between the two since it was just them (and so it seemed).
“Say, Akabane. Got a date to the dance?”
Karma glances over with a smirk at Asano, “No, but I am waiting for someone to ask me. Maybe someone with strawberry blonde hair, mesmerizing purple eyes, and just so happens to be my academic rival but also my lover shockingly enough.” He says in a teasing manner.
Asano looks back at Karma in a more dramatic expression with a finger on his chin, “Why I wonder who that could possibly be.”
They both look back at each other. Focusing on the eyes of one another and taking each other in as they knew what they both wanted.
“So Karma. Care to join me at the dance?” Asked Asano, knowing already what Karma’s answer would be.
“Hmmm I’ll have to think about it…of course I will.”
The two boys lock hands and stare at the distant scenery as the sun was slightly setting. Enjoying the silence once again until Karma breaks the silence.
“How about we don’t tell our friends and classmates just yet though.”
“And why is that?” Asano asks knowing that his boyfriend can only be up to no good.
“I don’t know honestly. Maybe to brew up some drama for later on.”
Asano looks back at Karma, “Well aren’t you just a piece of work.”
“And you still like me.”
Just then, Koro-sensei comes out from the trees where he was hiding in before. He made sure to put his disguise on but even then, they were still able to tell who he is.
“Well if it isn’t the famous Koro-sensei,” says Asano as he quickly inspects him, never seeing anything quite like it.
Koro-sensei stares between Asano and Karma due to someone else knowing about his true identity. Asano decides to explain a bit to Koro-sensei.
“Sir, I’m dating one of your students. Do you really think he wouldn’t tell me everything that goes on in your class?”
Koro-sensei understands his statement and congratulates the two for being a couple. But of course, Koro-sensei being himself, he can’t help but not know about all the juicy details that blossomed the relationship between the two.
“But if it’s alright with you Koro-sensei, I would like to keep this relationship under wraps. You know? Stir things up a bit with my other classmates.” Karma says with a mischievous smile on his face.
Koro-sensei’s smile widened as if it were even possible. “Huhuhu of course of course. What kind of a teacher would I be if I didn’t respect the privacy of my fellow students? Although, what about Okuda?”
Karma looks up at Koro-sensei, “I think she already has eyes for someone else. Possibly someone by the name of Takebayashi?”
“Huhuhu brilliant idea Karma. Brilliant indeed.” Koro-sensei says while rubbing his tentacles together in a mischievous manner.
With Koro-sensei being the romance-obsessed creep that he was, he knew the drama was going to be good.
Notes:
Hey everyone!! This chapter took a few days to post since I didn't know if I should post it or add more. I decided to post it so you guys know that I'm still alive😄 But I do feel my motivation slowly start to slow down a bit so I want to be able to get as much of it done now while I can. My current hyper fixation has been Spy x Family and Wotakoi: love is hard for otaku, which is why my motivation is slowing down. I'll try to post more while I'm at it but if I don't, just remember this fic isn't abandoned. I know a lot of you were concerned I would abandon the fic or I already did so, but I would never unless I announced it otherwise :) Thank you all for reading this and see you all next chapter!!
