“… And lastly, in English football news, former Chelsea hard man midfielder and current AFC Richmond manager Roy Kent was papped today holding hands with and kissing newly signed Chelsea and ex-Richmond striker Jamie Tartt.
Kent, who famously never smiled throughout his playing career, is uncharacteristically grinning in the series of photos.
Asked for comment, AFC Richmond and Chelsea both released a brief statement. Chelsea’s statement consisted of ‘No comment’, and AFC Richmond’s statement was two words, one of which we cannot say on Australian television news.
