Keito's heart— it used to only beat for Eichi, he would fluster whenever he would interact with him before, yet now, the feeling was numb... he thought he would not find another to love as much as he cared for Eichi.. but.. surprises exist and it seems the devil's cold hands knocked on the door that was his heart, yearning for another to chance to capture his delicate feelings.
Him and were Rei drifted apart, their relationship used to be like a warm and free spirited warm wind that would peacefully sway the greenery, that precious relationship dimmed and so did their view on eachother, they could no longer look at eachother without getting reminded of clear past mistakes that made them fall out of eachother-.. it would be a pointless chase for eachother, since back then all of Keito's being was loyal to another..
And Rei felt pangs in his heart, it hurt, to see the person he found beloved was shining for another that was not him... His dear precious Keito devoted to a man that started finding interest in another, Keito was giving Eichi every fiber in his being.. what a lucky person Eichi was.. to be living the cold vampire's dream and taking it for granted, it stirred something disgusting in his gut, the feeling made him nauseous till his very core
But they still had hope, after all, they had ended up in the same agency, both of them quietly wanted to apologise to eachother for the past, small murmurs in the back of their mind were saying 'do it..'
Coincidentally Keito was sitting alone in a garden in ES while letting the wind's quietly bellow, and the moon simply hovered above them... the green haired man looked at Rei expressionless, and Rei decided to sit beside the seemingly lonely person seemed rather un-bothered, too tired from work to comprehend anything at the moment..
As if time froze for them, everything seemed to be going at a slower pace, Rei stared at Keito's tired figure sitting on the grass, he had the urge to caress his face, time can do things to a person..
"Kei-kun..?" Oh. An old nickname, perhaps this was a chance. "You seem rather tired, no?" Rei let out a small amused chuckle as Keito simply blinked at him tiredly.. he missed this.. he missed everything they had..
Rei took Keito's hands in his and gently rubbed it with his thumb, the other seemed too sleepy to even care at this point and just let's the vampire do what he wants. Keito suddenly puts his head on Rei's shoulder.
"Sakuma.. do you.." a small pause. "—ever just miss us..? When nothing bad happened.." Keito squints his eyes slightly while resting on Rei's shoulder;
"When we weren't, oppositions ?.."
Everything did sting when they weren't on eachother's sides, but Rei simply sighed and softly smiles at Keito, his eyes gleamed with a type of care that usually wouldn't be seen on his vampiric facade; "Everything did hurt back then, when we were split apart, but it's no longer like that.." The winds seemed warmer than before..
Keito seemed to just stay quiet for once, usually he was stubborn but today he was compliant..
They looked at eachother for a while... a vibrant bloody red and a sweet soft green, clashing colors of their eyes but they still seemed to mesh together nicely...
As of they had the same though in their head, a long awaited.. sweet kiss finally happened between the two frayed souls, everything felt in place for once, no more rough kisses that left eachother's lips bloodied, it was a genuine kiss of comfort now.. they finally let it out.. the soft silent woes of true love were finally shared among the two of them..
They've fallen for eachother so many times, but this time.. it felt in place.. it felt real..
