Summary
Katsuki survives the War, but he slips into a long-term coma. Izuku visits him every day, growing and changing with the world as Katsuki remains imprisoned in his own mind.
When Katsuki finally begins to regain consciousness, he’s transferred to a secret government testing facility and forced to take drugs that suppress his quirk and muddle his brain. Izuku demands answers from the hospital, but when his pleas are ignored, he takes matters into his own hands.
He didn't count on Katsuki finding a way out and tracking him down on his own. It's been ten miserable years, and Izuku is... different. He's brash, sarcastic, covered in tattoos and new scars. He scoffs at the heroes he once admired. Katsuki feels like he's trapped in a time capsule while the world moved on without him.
