   Summary

   Mysaria had left Daemon the day he broke his oath to protect her without looking back. She was determined to leave him in the past and carve out a life for herself. Until the impossible came to light, she was with child after all. Lady Misery carried her babe to full term with all the intentions of sending it away. This too was a plan thwarted by destiny, as the child was born with markings of the dragon- patches of gilded scales.
   Lady Misery saw in this child, her child, a chance at gaining all she thought was forbidden to her. She resolved to raise this child to be the sort of Targaryen she had hoped Daemon was. A true dragon, a princess of the people, one who would lead to prosperity. All she had to do was protect and nature this hatchling bastard while her skin hardened...
