Honestly, Higuchi didn't even mean to get into the sims. She simply overheard Tachihara talking about it and got curious.
So when she got home she did what any normal person would do.. and downloaded it onto her laptop. She was immediately hooked in, two weeks in and she had bought every expansion, and had built an elaborate home without cheat codes.
What she refused to tell anyone is that she made a new family on the sims.

Higuchi often had sleepovers with Gin, the two being the only young women in the higher ranking port mafia, which made it difficult to find lady friends.
Today was the usual, they sat in Higuchis' bed, on top of the blondes fluffy blankets as they talked while Higuchi did something with her laptop.
Gin peered over and saw the girl playing the sims. Curious, she looked at the girl.
"You play the sims as well? Can I see your sims?" She asked innocently.
No. Nonono nono-
"I don't think that's a good idea..-" Higuchi replied.
Now what Higuchi didn't tell Gin was that she had made them both in the sims, the two being married and having multiple children. Oh, and she was violently crushing on the raven-haired girl. She hated when people assumed she was in love with the girl's brother, she may have had high respect for him because he saved her and he was strong, but do not mix that up for love.
No, the title of being the one Higuchi secretly cherished was given to none other than Akutagawa Gin.
So no, it wouldn't be okay for Gin to see her Sims family.
Gin looked at her confused, "why not? It's just a character." She said while moving dangerously close.
Higuchi went red and stumbled over her words, "well! I-uhm-you- you probably shouldn't!! Ahahahahha.." she nervously laughed.
Gin smirked as they peered over, seeing it for good. What they saw had their heart thumping wildly.
So, she made a family.. of us?..
"Adorable.." Gin muttered.
Higuchi heard and promptly threw her head into her pillow, squealing as figurative steam came out of her ears.
Gin snapped out of her loving haze and looked at the girl, before giggling.
After a while they relaxed again, they looked into each others eyes, gray meeting brown before matching smiles appeared on both of their faces.
Gin slowly moved her hand to embrace the blondes, intertwining their fingers, before looking at the blonde and moving in.
The kiss was soft and sleepy, both of them having little experience it was clumsy, they bumped their noses together before getting the right angle, but oh did they cherish it, the moment lasted seconds, yet it seemed like hours in their own little world, before they pulled apart, foreheads stuck together as they smiled, closing their eyes and just embracing the other.
By the end of the night the laptop had been long forgotten, as the two laid in the bed, softly holding each other.
"Girlfriends?" Higuchi asked hesitantly.
Gin looked at them before answering.
