"Would you let me take you to my home?"
"Don't worry... I'll fix you up really good and send you back home..."
He couldn't believe it. Keiwa was taking him along to his home! Never in his wildest dreams he'd imagine that he would be able to spend time together with Keiwa again. That one last time when the two of them went out together to pick out a birthday present for Neon felt like a very, very long time ago.
He never ended up seeing Keiwa smile genuinely much anymore since that day...
He thought after he remade this world again once he completely remove the remaining traces of the Jyamato, dealt with Nadge-Sparrow, Kekera and Beroba... as well as put a stop to Suel, Jitt and Samas' attempts to recover his sister for good this time, he'd be able to truly create a world where everyone could be happy.
But then he still didn't quite achieve it, this time around. Regardless, for all its worth, at least he protected this world from Suel finally.
And everyone else could just pursue their own happiness on their own, while he focuses on his.
To be fair, Keiwa wasn't really THAT miserable in this new world. But Ace couldn't stop himself from continuing to watch over his beloved person, even though his person would never know or be aware of his existence.
He just wanted to at least have a small piece of happiness by being with Keiwa. That's all there is.
Keiwa seemed to have sensed him following them, so he hastily fled to find somewhere to hide. He accidentally hit an empty glass bottle too... before he heard the telltale sounds of Keiwa chasing after him. And the man could be so persevering too. Not bad for someone with a weak heart. (He didn't want to say 'bleeding heart' though like Buffa would've said. Because that'd only bring up a terrible memory he'd rather forget.)
There was a broken wire fence. And he thought it was a route that he could use to escape from Keiwa's reach. At least he thought it was. But then he miscalculated the distance a bit... and perhaps that was when one of his hind legs got cut by a sharp exposed wire. He hadn't really noticed it actually, but suppose that was how Keiwa was able to find him.
He never thought Keiwa would try to approach him, let alone take him home to his place. But oooh... that beef jerky really does smell so good—! And tasted so good too.

As soon as they arrived home, Keiwa took him into their room where they tried to clean Ace's leg wound and redress it with another clean handkerchief. And honestly, Ace couldn't care less about it as long as he could spend a long time with Keiwa.
And Keiwa was so adorable. And it's cute that Keiwa was trying to be so gentle with him and—ah! That hurt!
Ace didn't even know what sound he made, he just wanted to get himself free from Keiwa's hold—and then he saw how much Keiwa panicked and looked so alarmed when they realised that they've hurt him. But why—why did Keiwa seem more hurt than he was?
Ace hurriedly licked Keiwa's fingers to reassure him that he was fine, he wasn't mad at them. Keiwa just wanted to help him, Ace knew that—these fingers could do no harm... he knew that Keiwa would never hurt him...
Then Keiwa started to smile. And Ace was suddenly hit with an indescribable joy that spread until the tip of his tail!
"Aren't you a very considerate one? For a sec, I started to question myself which of us actually was taking care of the other..."
Oh...
Don't know what just hit him, but Ace suddenly felt the urge to kiss Keiwa senselessly. But he's a fox, at the moment so...
He licked Keiwa's nose. And Keiwa laughed with the most melodious note he'd ever heard.
That's when all other restraints he had on himself just crumbles into ashes. He'd have his fill of Keiwa tonight if it's the last thing he'd do...
Was he being excessive? He hoped not... but Keiwa kept laughing and squealing and he thought he heard Keiwa moaning—so Keiwa must have also enjoyed that, right? But of course, he'd have to allow Keiwa room to breathe...
Keiwa's flushed face was beautiful. He could stare at that face for hours.
"Whoa!" Keiwa gasped.
"Did you love me THAT much, little guy?" said Keiwa again as Ace barked his answers and continued kissing Keiwa on the cheeks.
"Yes, I do. I love you, Sakurai Keiwa! I love you so much!"
Ace was so happy he didn't realise how much his tail was wagging!
